The place is MASSIVE!! Lots going on everywhere. TONS of plants and there are even random fake plants which was funny to me for some reason! Basically now I know where I can get a replacement plant for whatever plant just died in my apartment! They have a wide and abundant variety of indoor and outdoor plants! They also have a boutique selection of retail merch which was interesting to browse and it also seemed like there was a farmers market and freezer section! It's a great place to go if you need a floral break and need to immerse yourself in colorful petals and greenery! The staff was super friendly and I really loved seeing so many plants that I had really never seen before! The giant cacti were also really cool - something I would save my pennies for! Seems like a great place to pick up a hostess gift too!

Hello, my name is Alyssia I've heard and seen lots and lots…read moreof comments about this garden market.. because it has been around ever since I can remember. I've seen a lot of community members say Nick's garden market isn't how it used to be. I took it upon myself to see if that was really true, and unfortunately it's a total bummer. Nobody there really knows anything about plants not to mention they don't know how to take care of them either. I would never ever purchase a plant from this garden market again. I had purchased back in February 2026 1 Sweet autumn Clematis vine, and 1 coral honeysuckle vine. Come to find out a couple of weeks later after settling them in my garden at home, the honeysuckle was infested with aphids. I actually called weeks later after trying to save the plant myself by cutting it down completely 2 feet from the ground realizing the frustration that the infestation of aphids wasn't my fault. When I called, the woman that picked up the line didn't share her name. I expressed to this woman that I've had the plant for a little bit and was wondering if there's anyway they can look me up in the system (without receipt) so that we can work something out by me bringing it back. She went ahead and straight up told me "we don't have a system" then let me know that she has been a gardener and has had 30+ years of experience and that honeysuckles are always aphid infested, she also said at Nick's they spray their honeysuckle vines every day and still aren't able to get rid of them. My question is why sell aphid infested vines or if you're going to why not put up a sign alerting other people if you want to buy this there's a risk. I let her know that I actually had more than one species of honeysuckle at my house and none of the other ones were aphid infested. She shut up real quick after that and went ahead and said the best that I can do is give you back $30 for it so you can buy something else. Don't buy your plants here I now go to Tagawa Gardens. They are absolutely amazing, AFFORDABLE and have a real knowledge on all different species of plants Think twice

Very organized and always great selection of produce…read more I like that I can look at the list online and just let them know if I want a small or large box. Sometimes I get extras, sometimes I do not. This lets me plan my meals based on what I'm getting that week. There is no subscription. It is cash only. This week was the week before Thanksgiving and the small box covered the majority of what I was planning to get at the grocery store anyway. Saved me a trip.

I have tried many produce services and 5280 comes out shining every single time. I appreciate that…read morethere's no subscription- you just sign up a few days before you'd like to pick up your box (ex: sign up on Wednesday or Thursday for a Saturday pickup). The sign up is a very simple Google Forms on their website. You can choose from a small box or large box. Each box comes with approximately 6 fruits and 6 vegetables, give or take. Occasionally there's a package of moldy strawberries or the lettuce wilts quickly but that far outweighs the value and variety for the price. Their service is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They have a seamless system down for COVID where you drive up, pay, and they put your produce directly into your car. Awesome! Note that they only accept cash right now. They also have random local goods for sale that you can add on to your usual box. Some examples are honey, green chilis, bbq sauce, bacon and granola. 5280 Produce is a team of rockstars. Give them a shot! Once you start using them you won't forget the incredible value and service.

I'm not a native but I got this tip from a native - her family has been coming here for decades to get their box of green chilis annually. It sometimes can be hit or miss if you come later in the day, they could sell out on popular, in-season produce. I love their garlic bulb braids, get the one that has slightly purple tint on them, they are garlicky spicy and last a long time - perfect for the grill then smeared on toasty bread. I also have gotten delicious Hinman Pie in their freezer section, gazillion flavors of cheese curds, lots of local pickled food and delicious hot sauces. Service has always been great if I didn't know how to pick a type of produce - I'd get my questions answered. Love all the local items and non local items will be labeled as well. Overall just a great place to come check out while supporting local business. Stop by Edward's Meats before or after Heinie's for meal prepping too. Oh btw Heinie's also do Fall Pumpkins set up for photo ops too if you have little ones. Come get a pumpkin and take some photos, and pick up some produce while you're at it!
