Opened on Saturdays during the summer months, the Fresh Market is set up in the parking lot of the mall. The Fresh Market is small but packed with great options. They have booths with produce, clothes and dainty goods, but what stands out here are the food options. We got a scone from one of the bakeries and some thick cut Belgian fries. The stand out was the matcha though. The line for Mako Matcha was noticeably long, but worth it. I got the strawberry matcha, although they did have a summer seasonal peach matcha. The matcha was outstanding. After reading their story, they source their matcha from Japan and wanted a really high quality option for Denver. So great and delicious!

I am so glad I tried it. It's very chill, which was a nice surprise! Lots of parking, easy to get to, and still a good amount of vendors to keep it interesting. It's a smaller market, maybe 20 or so vendors? I saw market favourites like Miller Farms with their $15 grab bag of vegetables and Great Harvest Bread Co with their bars and loaves, in addition to other bread, fruit and vegetable vendors. There were several stalls selling breakfast foods if you wanted to eat at the market. And there were a handful of craft vendors too, selling jewelry, small gifts, and my favourite - handmade bows and bandanas for pets. Perfect for a quick visit.

And I was surprised to find many of the things I needed to cook the sauces and even tips to making the enjera. This market is a great place to go to find almost any Ethiopian spice. The lady that works there works everyday and is sooo nice. I will say its not a perfectly clean place but I will go back on regular visits to get my Enjera:). Cute little market! Lots of the same vendors you see on Sunday at South Pearl Street. You can do a…read morefree wine tasting from Avanti, sample some local honey, snag dinner from PBJ, Vegan Van or Quiero Arepas food trucks, and last Wednesday you could even have adopted a pet. It's not very crowded; the tortilla guy who makes Colombian Tamales, tacos, quesadillas, etc., at other farmers markets and always has a line, had no line here. And he now takes credit cards! (About half of the vendors are cash or check only). I got there around 5:45 and got an easy parking spot in the lot next to the market. It's actually on Lincoln Street, not Broadway. They were starting to string the lights on the top of the booths when I was leaving. I bet it's really pretty there at night. They even had a guy with his guitar singing and strumming away. There are good deals to be had! I got a pound of rhubarb for only $2. High Country Kombucha was selling cases of 12 bottles for $30. I was allowed to mix and match flavors and even offered a discount of $25 instead of 30. Check them out next Wednesday night and support local!
