From the beginning, Ms. Sharon and Ms. Aariah have made learning fun and exciting. At just 3 years old, he comes home teaching us American Sign Language and counting in both English and Spanish. It is amazing to see how much he is absorbing and how proud he is to share it. He enjoys his time in daycare with Ms. Lisa and always looks forward to his mornings with Ms. Amy. The consistency and care from each teacher make such a difference in helping him feel comfortable and supported. The teacher aides and support staff are always very warm, caring, and attentive. Whether it is a quick greeting at drop-off or helping the children through their daily routines, they create such a calm and positive atmosphere. As he prepares to graduate to the next age group, I asked him which class he would like to move into next. His immediate response was, very matter-of-factly, "Ms. Sharon. That is MY class." Then he began listing everyone's names because he truly loves them all. Ms. Shaku's leadership and dedication to building a strong community for both the children and parents are clear. Her focus on creating a positive environment where kids can thrive is deeply appreciated. Montessori School of Brentwood has been such a special part of our lives. I am SO grateful that we found Ms. Patty and Ms. Alma!! Enrollment was a smooth process and it didn't take my kids long to warm up to everyone. They truly provide the most loving, nurturing, and wholesome environment for the kids and it is EXACTLY what I had hoped for when looking for care. Patty keeps them on a schedule and always has fun things planned for them and my kids absolutely love it there. She also provides healthy (and homemade!) meals and snacks which saves me so much time in the mornings. She keeps her home very clean, organized, and safe for the kids. I am always blown away by the things they learn from Patty and Alma - not just educational things (which are AMAZING - Patty does Circle Time and my kids absolutely love it and learn SO much!!) but also things like life skills and manners and how to be kind to one another. My daughter has some neurological issues that can make her a bit of a challenge from time to time - I've always felt extremely comfortable with how Patty handles my daughter and her special needs. She is gentle and patient with her and it really shows. I've also been very impressed with how Patty has handled the pandemic from a business perspective - she keeps us informed of changes policies and state guidelines, and it's just been nice to have consistency for my kids during these times. She's been incredibly reliable and that's something that is important to me (especially when it comes to my children). Sadly, we will be moving away from the area soon and the hardest part of our move is not being able to send our kids to Patty and Alma's every day. They have such a positive impact on our children, and are truly like family to them. We will miss them ALL - their whole family and all of the kids - SO much! She is an amazing teacher and the sweetest person and I look forward to drop off and pick up every day to see her! She doesn't just prepare the kids for school, but she prepares them for life! By 2 my son was organizing toys and cleaning up his mess, she teaches them good manners, how to be kind to others, she feeds them the best homemade food (no junk food) and she truly loves these kids like her own. She helps with potty training and she takes the kids to the park. Her house is immaculately clean and her backyard is beautiful. In 3 years she never called in sick and her reliability is impeccable. She watches my 7 year old son during school breaks and he loves going. We absolutely adore her and she's been such a special part of our lives.
