They make their own cherry syrup and the cherries toppings were made with real cherries. Easily one of the easiest dessert where it won't leave you feeling guilty because it essentially is water. I'm sad I only discovered this 2 weeks ago so I missed the June fruit flavor of the month. But I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors before they pack up for the season.

I've had Japanese and Korean shaved ice before and the Taiwanese version is very different from the others. It's a little thicker and fuller so it feels more than water. But still very delicious. I have had Tropitai in person and takeout. I live roughly 30 minutes away and the way they packed the shaved ice, it was still pretty solid by the time I was home. Everything I have had from here has been delicious. My favorites are the wintermelon shaved ice and the wintermelon tea. I can't remember what fresh milk was but it was delicious. Both are very cooling and perfect after an exhausting stressful day. They're not overly sweet even with the condensed milk. Just right. I finally came in person and it's very homey and reminds me of the warmth at my grandparents with all the figurines. Service is super friendly. It's very clean and there's plenty of seating.
