It's not like a typical icee you'd think of getting at a fair - its almost like ice cream. Super creamy, packed with flavor, and pairs so well with some fruit. After coming here ... probably 5+ times now - we've almost tried all the flavors. And to be honest - there isn't one that misses. The portions are huge - 1 would probably be enough for 4 people to have a decent amount - but of course its delicious so you really can't go wrong with ordering more. Tons of toppings to choose from as well. Also can't go wrong with your drink order, tons of flavors and you can customize with toppings. It's nothing like the crunchy, gritty American snow cones - the super fine threads of ice are completely evenly mixed with whatever flavor you choose. The staff are sweet though, answering all questions and providing recommendations if you feel stuck. They'll bring your order to you as long as it's not too busy, and take care to wipe everything down when customers leave. The Mango Guava flavor was perfectly refreshing with Mochi and Lychee Jelly. Sizes are also quite generous, even though it seemed like our treat was gone in no time. The milktea itself was just okay. We tried a Lavender Green Tea with boba, and even with 25% sugar, it was sweeter than the shaved ice and less pleasant to drink. Learned about this place via the yelp event but had to go back for more! Twice in three days. Service is quite friendly and I appreciate that they are open late. The passion fruit shaved ice is the way to go. The small is plenty big but make sure to add toppings especially condensed milk. I miss authentic shave ice and this is the perfect place for the real deal. The staff is super friendly and the service is always great. I could not recommend this place enough! Come for the amazing treats but stay for the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. I don't think I've ever been to a dessert shop that greeted us with such genuine smiles and they even brought our order to us! We ordered the mango shaved ice and it is literally the best I've ever had. I also got the honey milk green tea, which even at 100% sweetness, was perfect! I believe it was made with a cream or milk based? Or non dairy creamer but with the flavor and then shaved down to ice. Which was different than your typical ice with syrup on top. Medium was big enough to share between 2-3 people for sure. I think if I went alone I would prefer a small portion option for $6 or $7 (currently doesn't exist ) so I don't have to share since I can see that being a problem even amongst friends hah. And medium was too big for myself to finish. Not a thing to be able to take home since it'll melt and the texture will be gone and all you get left is melted slush. Came here for MHAFW twice and it was a good time! I've only ever had the boba here, but I definitely want to try their shaved ice desserts, which I've heard good things about.
