I switched to curbside pickup in July 2020. They have completed very few orders correctly. However, I think they still deserve 5 stars. Most of the time it is a mere slight inconvenience (and not horribly messed up) and I'm more than fine with that (having someone else literally have to grocery shop for me...for no extra fee). When I've been charged for items I didn't receive (I only responded to their feedback requests that you get when you do curbside delivery two times where my order was a bit too messed up for even me) they've made it more than right each time. Considering what grocery store workers deal with...I worked at one (from the day I turned 16) for 7 years and I know what they deal with...I think they're doing a good job overall. I really don't think 1 star reviews for just a handful of bad experiences is warranted, especially in today's world where these ratings can be so damaging. read more

Outstanding! 10x better than Bashas I'm Gold Canyon. A few miles further but definitely worth the extra 5 minute drive. Went to Bashas to buy limes and that section was empty (which happens way too often at Bashas). So, 5 minutes later I'm at Frys on the Trail and they had tons of limes and they were on sale. Plus there were definitely staff personnel everywhere. I had to ask one on them where to find more Frys shopper ID. BOOM! NO MO Bashas from now on. read more

Adam at the customer service desk, possibly a manager, is very rude and needs to find a different job not in customer service. I was told to "chill out" because I simply asked for 2 of my items to be refunded. Every other employee I've ever spoken to here has been kind and amazing. This experience left me feeling very conflicted on whether or not I want to return to this store. read more

Most of Fry's stores are clean, however this one is exceptionally clean other than the bathrooms. The staff is always very kind and helpful. My favorite place to shop, I had moved out of state for a few years and made sure I purchased in the neighborhood when I moved back. Danny and Harry make sure the staff keep it clean. read more

This location is very large with a huge selection of almost anything you can think of! There is lots of parking, but can get a little hectic especially in the winter time with the snowbirds return. The staff was extremely friendly when we set up to bell ring for The Salvation Army, which in very grateful for. Definitely visit when I'm in need of groceries and in the area. read more

It's the first time I've ever seen a bar in the middle of a grocery store. I heard one of the patrons tell his kids to go do the shopping and he would be there when they were done. This idea is thinking way outside the box but it's also kind of a novel idea too. I propose a toast to whoever came up with the idea and I'm sure it will encourage many more patrons to visit with their kids or spouses for a break from shopping or to just relax after shopping or to work on their shopping list. I might just stop to have a beer to make sure I didn't forget anything so I don't have to go back. But, then again, the bar wouldn't make the trip so painful if I did need to return. read more

She then told all cashiers that we were lying about our age. She had big hair and messy eyeliner. We all had valid IDs but we were treated rude because we looked younger. Staff member Sandi just walked up a touched my son who was sitting in my cart . He told her not to touch him and she said I can if I want and then he said he will punch her if she touches him again she said no he won't she's an adult . Lady any one can defend there space and who puts hands on them no matter the age . He's 10 . And I told her so . I backed up my son don't care if you work there keep your hands to your self . In 4 out of 5 visits to this store I was overcharged. Once I caught it at the cashier and was told it was very common by the cashier so I went to get a refund and was denied because I had the wrong flavor of ice cream [They had a picture of vanilla ice cream in the ad and I had another flavor]. The little smart mouthed Store manager is a real jerk. I mentioned this in Church at a meeting and was very surprised to find most of those in my church had also been over charged and had stopped going there because of that. I used to be a Walmart guy until this Frys came to town, they always have everything I need. Great deals, large variety of food that's fresh and ready to eat, plus of course the stuff on the shelves. Charged $2.59 a pound for two apples. Sale price was 89 cents per pound, signed as such on the display bin. This is not an isolated instance at this store. Overcharges all the time. I cut way back shopping here a couple years ago when I was over charged for items 5 out of 7 grocery trips. Still find overcharges, or non-sale items with sale signs, or clearance produce/bakery that ring up full price when I go there once every couple months. The digital coupons are the worst frustration. Not sure why customers have to spend time online processing digital coupons. I have "clipped" items online that didn't ring up sale, and bought items where it wasn't clear that the item was digital only. Why aren't all sale items just priced at the registers? So I suggest everyone shopping at the store check your recipes before you leave the store. read more

When I arrived I spoke to an employee after he placed another customers order in their car and he said "You are not a priority right now." My response, if I'm not a priority after you all messed up my order and I have to make a second trip, then what am I? He walked away. So I eat a lot of grocery store sushi. Frys is the closest to my home. What I ate yesterday didn't seem right and then today I went back for more and there was a fly in some of the sushi. Most my complaints about the store really are not the stores fault I think it's too crowded which is not their fault and I think they're self checkout. Systems are the hardest to use of them all, they have a lovely butcher counter, but I would stay away from anything that's prepared. Lol. read more

This store offers many fine choices and foods during the day but has awful evening management with one particularly young rude and condescending "manager" & is way understaffed. I quit shopping there day or eve and recently learned others have too--not because of selection but on service. I now shop at other locations and will drive further for another Fry location. Fortunate that consumers have choices and there is some fine competition in this area still. Love this Fry's--except for the continual shortage of working, charged mobility carts. Today you lost a $45 sale when we tried to find a working, charged mobility cart. We drove up and down the parking lot aisles and waited inside and finally gave up and went to Walmart's, where they almost always have working, charged mobility carts. Happens to me about once a week, which means about $2,500 loss a year for your Fry's from just one elderly customer in this retirement town. I'd rather spend it at Fry's, which is otherwise one of my favorite stores. read more

I have never had any issues here at this Fry's location. The parking lot is huge and there is always a place to park. The gas station always has open pumps too - I have never had to wait for a pump to open up. The workers are not pushy and rude as some other Fry's location. I am always able to get a full cart of groceries here. read more

This fry's is very nice and is very large, however my biggest complaint is the lack of quality control on the sushi/pan Asian side of the store! I love frys sushi and this locations sushi looks tastes/weird bad. I am not sure if this frys looks at their reviews but please consider training/hiring new staff for you sushi/pan Asian department! They like to use their shopping carts as their trash transportation, way until cool and just not okay at all They say = that they only have that one and they clean all their cart's every month, as they have now the idea to make it a bit more store-friendly as seeing a cart that looks like the cart that your using can well, it did to me as for sure was ready to leave and I did; for also gave them the idea to better themselves by not just meeting as that of make that cart be happy and have " a smile or a have a great day,(just that, who needs to be echoed to that there is the store that there in; those that need to brainwash people are who ) There is growth that is here and let's see what you can do about bettering yourself, really, like have that trash cart be the cart you let everyone know that you clean the carts every month; simple as that. Absolutely terrible costumer service. Despite multiple phone calls and being told the wrong things from this stores employees and management I contacted corporate and guess what? No problem at all fixed in a 15 minutes phone call sent me to a different store and boom I got my refund when I walked in the store. read more

While I like Fry's selection, and their prices are decent (sometimes-when things are on sale), this location is always super crowded. You simply cannot find a parking spot, no matter what hour of the day you go. And to make matters worse, the employees are not super helpful or friendly either. Example: I recently had to return some Frito-Lay chips that were on recall. I brought to customer service and she didn't seem to care there was a recall on chips. I had to tell her to make sure the chips were pulled from the shelves. Also, when checking out, I like to be greeted with a "hello" at least. Very rarely am I acknowledged or thanked at this store, which doesn't bode well on the customer service aspect of the store. Maybe management should train the employees on what "customer service" means. In the meantime, I'll shop elsewhere. read more

Why is it that the Frys app never works in the store? The last 3 or 4 times I shopped I could not access coupons, digital coupons, anything. This has caused me to spend a lot more money ( on a limited income) than I can afford. When I asked about this , all I got was shrugged shoulders as a response. I'm getting used to the new frys, it's just too big but what can ya do. But today I stood in front of the butcher station for at least 3-4 minutes (all by myself, no one else around) while David loaded ground beef into the disk play case. Which had plenty of hamburger for the masses of NOBODY behind me! There was another guy out of view that couldn't see me and David didn't even bother to alert. Beware of this store! Many customers weren't wearing masks. Two employees stocking shelves had their masks pulled below their chins. The woman working one of the self-check out area wasn't wearing a mask or shield or socially distancing. I asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask, "I have a doctors note", was her nasty toned response. Why would you let her come in contact with so many people? I am very pleased with the Apache Junction Fry's. The employees always say hello and are very helpful. The meat department is always willing to help me with special cuts or checking in the back for larger cuts. I am enjoying the great liquor and beer selection that they have as well as the great service from Sue and Todd at the bar. They have helped me find exactly what I'm looking for and provided great advice for food pairing. The pharmacy has been extremely helpful as well, and I have taken advantage of the vaccine program they offer. It is very convenient. read more

Don't go early, there are only a few checkstands open and no bagging help. The lack of bagging help is a chronic problem with this store so be prepared to do your own bagging. Don't try to find help to find an item because there is no help on the floor. Don't expect a call back if you voice a complaint on their survey form, you seldom get a call back. read more

I love, love, LOVE this location. In all the Frys I've been to, the customer service here and food selection can't be beat. You are always greeted by someone when you walk in the door. I always go to Fry's late in the day so the same lady is there greeting customers. They have expanded their Organic/Natural Food selection which I think is fantastic, aswell as offering more produce (I wish they're organic section was a little bigger, but I understand that alot of people aren't on the organic bandwagon yet). The only time I have gotten not so nice customer service is right before closing, which I can undersand, these people want to go home! The store underwent remodeling and you can tell it was for the better. It is always clean, staff is always nice and helpful, and it is just overall a great place. read more

The pharmacy staff here is wonderful! They are always going out of their way to make sure everything is running smoothly and as affordable as they can make it. The staff for the regular store seems to be hit or miss depending on when you are there. I've had fantastic friendly service and I've had downright horrible service, so that part is a gamble. I don't usually need help and usually use the self checkout, so I don't usually have any problems. Mostly I shop here because it's convenient and cheap. read more

My favorite place to go grocery shopping! All of their produce is so fresh, and the selection is great. The deli has a great selection of salads and pasta's etc, and I like that they also have some of the items pre packaged if you are in a rush. Staff is willing to accomodate a request. I wanted to bring my husband a sandwich at work and he is very picky, so non of the pre made ones would work. A girl in the deli offered to make me one, however the only breads they would use were french rolls, which are too hard. I apologized and told her I didnt mean to be difficult, but he cant eat that bread, so she went to the bread aisle and opened a loaf of bread to make him a sandwich. The store made guacamole here is the reason I have trust issues (not daddy issues believe it or not). I get spicy - it's mild, I get mild- it's spicy. I get ahead of the game and buy mild thinking maybe it'll be spicy - it's basically blended up avocado paste with 2 pieces of tomato in it.... You get the point. This grocery store was nice for about 2 weeks. You can put a brand new nice grocery store in AJ but you can't take the AJ out of pretty much anything located in the town limits.
