This location is the worst at answering the phone, every other Walgreens I call and I get someone right away. This location at 55 Apache Trail expect to wait on hold for 20+ minutes then get hung up on and have to call back. Every. Dang. Time. just to wait another 20+ minutes. I can't speak for the store, but I can tell you the pharmacy at this Walgreens is absolutely beyond horrible I have a dog that has cancer and my provider cannot get a hold of them because they will not answer the phone and their voicemail is full I eventually was able to speak to them and they complain that there's only two of them to handle the entire pharmacy As it turns out they were sending the request to the wrong provider for my dog cancer medicine These people are overworked underpaid and just don't care and it's obvious Walgreens is multimillion dollar company and they won't hire enough people to satisfy the community read more

My husband did an order thru the Walgreens app on his phone yesterday for several large $ items including genetic Zertec & Flonase and nicotine gum. There was a code to use FRIENDS20 to save 20% off which you can only use to order online to pick-up in store. He also used $20 rewards and total was $137. The order was delayed this morning though they charged him. Then he went in the store because he got a message saying "customer canceled" which he did not. No one could help him as they said they had "no access" to online pick up orders. He verified that ALL the items were in stock!! He came home & called customer service -- was transferred 3 times & finally a lady told him the order should not have been canceled - redid the order for him using same codes then had him enter his card info for payment -- this all took like 40 minutes! But right after he gave info the lady said I'm so sorry but our system just crashed -- you will have to call back in an hour!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! Worst customer service ever & ridiculous. Can't place same order because the coupon code is no longer active today. OMG! We'll be getting these items from a BETTER source! read more

The pharmacy here was probably one of the most frustrating things to deal with when you're severely ill & just trying to get your meds! Opted for the drive-thru because being sick, the last thing anyone wants to do is trek all the way to the back of the store, potentially spreading it to every other patron on the way. But, that was a bad idea. Their speaker doesn't work at all. I couldn't really hear a word she was saying until I had her at a "screaming" volume. The doctor had called in the 3 scripts needed, for treating walking pneumonia & acute bronchitis. These meds were needed ASAP. ...and she proceeds to tell me that one is not in stock until Monday (3 days away). That doesn't help. I asked to have it transferred to another location that could fill it. Instead of obliging, she told me to call the doctor and direct them. That is NOT the protocol! She had every ability to call the other Walgreens 3 miles down the street and transfer the script to a location that had it in stock! But, no... I had to do all the leg work & jump around, while severely ill, JUST to get the last script. As if playing the pharmacy merry-go-round wasn't enough, she then decided to attempt & hold my 2 ready scripts hostage because when asked for my address, it doesn't match what is on my drivers license. Yes, people MOVE! She could have asked my birthdate, or any other identifying method like my actual ID, but decided to hassle me over an address on file from 2+ years ago! I guess she finally caught my drift of dismay when I suggested to speak to the manager/pharmacist & get this sorted out. So, I finally get the 2 ready scripts, but nearly had to force my insurance card on her so I wasn't paying an insane, full-price out of pocket. She just acted like I was a total bother and didn't want to deal with her job at all. The kicker: there was NO one else ahead or behind me in that drive-thru. So, there was no excuse for any of it. I think I'll stick with CVS. I've never encountered an issue there like I have with Walgreens. read more

The Walgreens I've always dreamed of... Lol.. Ever since They did a remodel this place is excellent!! It's the Costco of Walgreens. There are aisles upon aisles of stuff and they're open 24 seven. Fresh food brought in daily like at QT. Photo products also 24/7. Friendly staff and Super clean store.. During regular hours there is also a take care clinic. Nice!!! read more

I was really impressed with this Walgreens! I went out of my way to go there because it is the closest location to me with a take care clinic inside. The entire store is newly remodeled. The shelves are all back lit. The pharmacy and the clinic have monitors to show you queue of people waiting for service. This way you know if they are working on your script or it will show you when it is done and ready to be picked up. The monitor for the clinic shows the estimated wait time. There is also a section with deli foods and snacks that looked fresh and healthy. The only problem is that the wait between being seen at the clinic an getting the script filled was VERY long. I've also been to a CVS minute clinic and they put the scripts from the clinic ahead of everyone else as a courtesy. I wish Walgreens would learn to adopt this policy. read more

Finally decided to get covid shot. Went to online appointment scheduling to set it up. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment and went to the window designated for vaccine appointments only to be told that they were too busy to deal with me as there was already a long line to pick up prescriptions. This Walgreens is very unprofessional. The tech was shaking her head at me and accused me of lying. I don't know her name but she was very tall and very rude. I was so frustrated with their excuses. Bottom line is I don't trust any of them. The Hispanic girl made faces at me one day at the drive thru!!! I couldn't believe it!she still works there! I am diabetic and need my insulin. Had the worst service here! Expect to wait forever in drive thru line...then wait another 5 minutes to get someone to help you. Don't even try to go to this store during the winter months or you may end up being in line until April or May until the visiting snowbirds head back home! The pharmacist, Rich, was extremely helpful. He went way above and beyond to try and help us get the immunization my niece, who is recently living with me, needed. They were the only pharmacy out of the 5 I called that even had the immunization in stock and he was very patient while I tried to gather all the I formation he needed and did everything he could to help the process including calling the doctor himself. Got there 10mins early had to check in...all the same questions I answered online earlier, then I had to call to verify they took my insurance; was transferred 3 different times plus being on hold for 15mins (seems like an hour when u have 2 kids with you) to find out they don't take my insurance..... VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have never felt so degraded in my entire medical experience.. A pharmacy technician named, Candice, basically called me a liar and refused to approve a refill on a lost prescription from my Dr. simply because "she didn't believe my story" and "she didn't feel comfortable filling it." The technician seemed extremely immature and was just down right rude. I could not believe the way she treated me. And she showed no sympathy to the fact that I was COMPLETELY out of a very important medication that can cause serious issues to my body if not taken consistently. I now have to switch my pharmacy in order to get my prescription filled before my body starts undergoing serious side effects from not taking it. I will never visit another walgreens pharmacy due to the way I was treated and talked to. I could tell the poor girl had a serious control issue. But I cannot let someone like that handle my medicine or any medical needs I may have. I am extremely disappointed and at the same time very unhappy about my treatment. Very bad service! Was told it would be about 30 minutes for prescriptions to be ready. Waited 45 mins to go there, 10 mins in line and another 30 minutes and then had to request a status and wait a few minutes more. One Rx was 20 tabs and the other was 30 tabs. I am beyond frustrated with this Walgreens' HealthCare Clinic! I went in Monday to get some vaccines and a TB test for school. I went in around 2pm as a walkin, they had no openings. So Susan the MA set me up with an appointment that night at 6pm. I filled out paperwork and I gave Susan my insurance info and she said they accepted it and all was good to go. I then go back in at 5:45 to check in. I wasn't seen until around 6:20pm which was fine, whatever, I didn't mind waiting. I then go into the doctors office and I tell her what I'm there for and etc. She gets me set up for my shots and then gives them all to me. She then sits there and enters in the information into the computer and then begins freaking out about why it's popping up a certain way blah blah blah. She then proceeds to tell me that I owe her $173!! Because of THEIR mistake. They didn't double check the insurance. They had 4 hours to do so. FOUR HOURS. I was fuming. She kept apologizing and even pulled in Susan the MA to ask what the heck was going on. Both were confused but yet she still "needed to collect." Are you serious? I am a student. I am unemployed. I went to this clinic because it was supposed to be cheap and easy. Good thing I had the money on me that night, but really? I left and was mad, yes, but I let it go. Came back Wednesday night to get my TB test read. I walk in to check in and everything was shut down. I had an appointment for 6:30pm. CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT! Went to the pharmacist line to see if I could talk to someone and then I was approached by some lady asking if I was here for an appointment. I said yes and she proceeds to tell me that the doctor went home at 6pm. Really? I was never notified. They had an old number on file but why did I fill out all of that paperwork Monday night for them to not even update it?? I am beyond confused. Lack of empathy, professionalism, and just a pure lack of them doing their JOB. I let Monday night go because I was told I had to go back to that clinic. If I knew I could go to any HealthCare Clinic to have it read I wouldn't have ever wasted my time to go back to this location. The pharmacy employees at this location don't feel the need to assist you with any degree of respect. Their condescending, and irritable. I asked if they could add an allergy to my profile, she said she could make a note but it would not prevent them from issuing something to me that contained what I'm allergic to. Today before picking up my prescription I asked who the manufacturer was, because I did the background work so I would not pick up another prescription that I'm allergic to and it was not well received. Her whole demeanor changed, because I asked a question to protect my health of which she knows nothing about.
