WE called THEM to check, since no one called us. There were spots, it turned out, but she refused to hold the spots for even a few hours, to get our card and pay. This is not their usual policy. Other people at the Cove have held spots every time for 24 hours, when they call US to tell us about the waitlist spots. This gives working families time to check their schedules and call in payment. If the city staff can't give working people 24 hours to pay, then they really don't need our tax dollars to pay their so-called "services". Really we should just replace these subhumans with AI bots, since all they can do is enforce "the policy" which is NOT the policy to begin with.

Breakfast was delicious, the bar is a great spot to wind down, and Saturday night they had an amazing live band that made the whole place come alive. The small adjoining paintball field is closed until they upgrade the perimeter safety netting. The facility provides helmets and all the bats needed for baseball or softball. They have three cages for baseball ranging from slow (45 mph) up to fast (80 mph) pitch. The other cages are for softball with two for slow-pitch and one for fast-pitch (45-50 mph) with clearly marked plates and batters boxes in all six cages. Cost of play is ten balls for $1.00 and they issue tokens to use in the machines. The lighting is very good if you're hitting away after dusk night and the pitching machines are in great shape. The attendant can even vary the speed of the pitches for you and change the height/distance on the slow-pitch if you ask nicely. The slope of the 'field' was built just right so all balls return to the collector to fed back into the pitching machines. All-in-all a very nice facility, actually the only one of its kind in town, that doesn't get enough recognition since it's located on the base. The cages are open for use by the general public and there really hasn't been a lot of waiting to go in and take some cuts at a ball. I know that can all change now that I'm spilling the beans but I don't mind sharing and from all the popcorn I've seen at the downtown ball fields some of yall would benefit from a couple sessions in the batting cages! The range masters are great as long as you follow the rules. Wooden target stands and staples are available so bring your own paper targets; however they sell some for a buck a piece. Range fees reasonably cheap 6$ per adult or 3$ for military; under 18 free with adult. Long rifle and pistol is used on the same range with target set at 100 yards max. Also the path to the shooting range is about half mile dirt road; sometimes I see people out with their RC cars testing the terrain.

Worst gym ever sadly…read more.. No one has gym etiquette . No one cleans their stuff and machines , not even the trainers. Front desk girls flirt all the time and takes the same man in dates in the same gym. The pool is always dirty and no one takes showers before entering the pool. Old man follow you all over the gym . The same old man have social hour around the machines with no sets and wrong form and make females uncomfortable. One trainer brings her dog doesn't clean her stuff ether and lets the dog walk all over it . I hope there's better gyms in town ....

So, my girlfriend and I went to Bisbee with her dog, Nova last week…read more Nova is a pretty fussy dog whom in addition to being afraid of his own shadow, is super picky about where he goes to the bathroom, which served as the inspiration of his nickname, Mr. Fussypaws. Given that he possesses a predilection towards relieving himself at various dog parks around Tucson, we decided that upon arriving to Bisbee, the first thing we would do is find a dog park where he could relieve himself. That said, we found this dog park very interesting. It is a recently converted little league baseball field, with the bleachers and a dugout intact on the premises. Based on a plaque I found in the area, it seems to have been built around 1975, and to have originally been dedicated in the memory of a local businessman who had died around that time. The park has been outfitted with all the trappings of a typical dog park. They have a nice space for your furry pals to roam around, buckets and a water line to ensure that they can stay hydrated, and most importantly, various ways to pick up their poop ranging from shovels and garbage pails, to free poop bags. The only issue we had was the lack of dog toys or shade available in the area, though we were encouraged to see several young trees, which seem to have been recently planted since they were protected by a wire. As for whether it was suitable for our needs, I am happy to report that Mr. Fussypaws did indeed find the time to play with other dogs and to relieve himself at his pleasure; and to our relief.
