Firstly let me say that Greenwood reeks of bleach or cleaning products as soon as you walk in the door which is not a great introduction. Secondly the cocktail lounge and other indoor areas need heaters in Winter - I may as well have been outside the whole night freezing my tits off. I will say though that the function food I had arranged was surprisingly really tasty - lamb skewers and tuna tataki were my favourites. The pizza also looked good too which I believe is on the normal Greenwood menu and Gluten Free bases are available. If you're after a function this is a good place as the packages are really cheap and the space is huge, just book it for Summer!

The dining room itself was a lot more casual than expected, but modern and inviting nonetheless with green leather banquettes, high ceilings and an open kitchen. Service was efficient yet friendly, our waitress describing their specials in detail and encouraging a shared starter of twice-baked gruyere soufflé with rocket side salad (great tip!). Main courses were just as delicious - I sampled a grilled snapper fillet atop finely sliced fennel, sautéed down into a slightly sweet yet aniseed sauce with fresh peas and baby steamed clams, while the scotch fillet also came to the table smothered in creamy caramelised onion, a million layered potato galette and well-seasoned witled silverbeet. Chicken and soba noodle soup with dashi broth that was really outstanding in flavours albeit a bit small serve but quality over quantity here. The sweet potato fries are my favourite and i never liked sweet potato before lol. So wrapping it up its delicious food but smaller serves so be prepared for that. But its definitely worth it!
