Yes, the presentation was good with the fire but I don't think there's any need for it as it didn't do much for the sushi. It's just show. We dined at Fuji for the hibachi and were treated to a wonderful dinner and entertainment. We were sat right away and our server greeted us immediately, he was super friendly and very helpful with the extremely large menu! The rest of the seats filled quickly and the server never missed a beat. We ordered the shrimp and steak along with a sushi roll for appetizer. Our cocktails came out quickly as did our delicious huge salads and the sushi roll came just before the chef arrived. The sushi was a bit too sweet for my tastes but it was okay, we went with the recommendation of our server and didn't really read the description so our fault! Our chef was pretty quiet, he got right down to business and didn't really interact much with the table other than the egg bite tossing which I wasn't a fan of. Others at the table seemed to enjoy it so I think it's a thing at this restaurant. The shrimp was absolutely fantastic and the steak was good as well. The rice was basically not edible between the massive amount of pepper and then the sweet sauces added while cooking. The tiny amount of veggies were good and cooked perfectly, just portioned so small with only one mushroom, one piece of broccoli, two thin carrot slices and several onion slices. We used to eat here and in fact have held family celebrations as well as entertained groups with special guests at this restaurant. The last few times we visited, the food wasn't quite as good and then the last time we were there - our food was served alongside someone's hair from the kitchen/serving team or the long, black hair floated from a fellow guest onto our plate. Opening the package there was no care or thought so the sushi roll looked squished. As well it was super dry and tasted way overcooked. So it makes me feel as though it was overpriced as well. With $13.99 food cost, tax & $3.00 tip the bill was $19.00. for a single sushi roll. Nothing else. I probably won't try again. :( read more

We went on Christmas Eve; which was a very bad idea. Our server, "Carly", was amazing and helpful however; our food was just terrible. We didn't want to wait 1 hr for the Hibachi experience so opted for regular dining....but, we ordered from the Hibachi menu. It took a long time and when we finally received our food it was barely warm. And, to make things worse, they served us some sort of gross rice and tried to tell us it was the same fried rice served at the Hibachi grill. LOL LOL LOL The rice they served us looked and tasted like Uncle Ben's microwaveable rice cups. Then, the Shift Manager lied to us again and said the rice they served us was prepared ahead of time in big batches so that's why there wasn't any egg in the fried rice. What!? I think I was madder that he thought we would actually believe that sorry explanation than the fact that he lied to us. What an idiot!!!! So, if you order from the Hibachi menu, in my opinion, it should be the same food and the same quality food ~or~ you shouldn't offer that option and charge the same price as the Hibachi menu. The Shift Manager didn't even offer to comp anything on our bill, even though their mistake basically ruined our dining experience + he never came back to check on us. That is inexcusable. read more

First the service was great. The chef was very funny and polite. He made great jokes and kept us entertained the entire time. Crab ragoon was basically the same as everywhere I've been in this state. Someone premade filling and dip. Rice was awesome and flavorful. Didn't taste like most fried rice I had. It seemed like there was a little extra something in there but couldn't put it together. But it wasn't salty at all. Vegetables were cooked well and not too soft. And once again there is this flavor to it that's not usual to my pallet when I eat this type of food. The food was a hit and miss and a lot of it had to do with our waitress. I once ordered a RARE steak and it came out medium rare. I'm not the type to send things back so I just appreciated the service and was polite and enjoyed my meal. The next time we went back I explained my last episode to a different waitress, and she nailed it on the button. I had the perfect rare steak. As far as food taste goes it's really good. Let me start by saying the food is good. But my daughter has been ordering the crispy honey chicken since she was 4. Now she is 15, and she still wants the crispy honey chicken. But now she has to order two plates and pay $22. This place seriously needs to rethink their "policy" for the kids menu. We have been here three times now, and it's always been great but today I was saddened by how I saw who seemed like the manager on duty treating the employees. She had two tone hair and was yelling across the hibachi lunch room to the guy cleaning about him having spilt something. This should be done in private not in front of customers. Also, she walked up to another guy cleaning the grill/floor by our table and told him to stop. He stated he didn't know not to clean there and she told him she thought it was common sense in a very rude tone.
