Some meals are gluten and dairy free, but all of the meals seem to be reduced gluten (if any) and less dairy. The meals are well balanced and really filling. The weekly menus are varied, although it is always great to see some of our favorites pop back up from time to time. They are very nicely seasoned and everything tastes fresh. We've found the food tastes great and we really appreciate that it is portion controlled. Orders are due by Wednesday at midnight for delivery the following Sunday and Wednesday. The ordering system on the website lets you know which meals are scheduled to arrive on which day. The split delivery is great from a freshness perspective (we had a few of the Sunbasket pre-cooked meals that ended up going bad w/in a day or two of receipt). The meals are labeled w/ the macro information (grams of protein, carbs, and fat) as well as calories (which is great to see!). Be sure to remove the lid and any sauce containers inside before microwaving (lesson learned the hard way....) Meals arrive fresh, not frozen, in an insulated bag w/ a freezer pack included. The bag and freezer pack get returned to them with the next shipment. We are also really happy with the extreme reduction in waste compared to our orders from Sunbasket. Chris is incredibly responsive to questions and feedback, so I suggest reaching out to him with any specific questions. We were a little concerned about having to order 10 meals to try out the food, but my wife and I are both very glad we did!

Not like "cheap ingredients cooked well enough to not hate it" type of gormet, but actual chef level, restaurant quality, gormet meals that ARE ALSO incredibly healthy. Plus the level of care this team has for its clients and community is insane. They know everyone by name, they donate HUNDREDS of meals every year to those who need it... it's just incredible. I'm a health nut. I've owned gyms, I have a master's degree in nutrition, and I've programmed hundreds of meal plans in my life. If I could just have my clients eat this food - I would.

I couldn't stop eating the rice (and I'm usually good about stopping). The chicken was savory and had flavor right to the bone. The samosa/sambusa is minced beef. If Patience was the woman who gave me my order, she is super sweet. I wish I were local and could come back for the greens and the fish -- in fact to try all of it in turn. I really enjoyed my meal, and it's just not something I've had before! Just a note this shop doesn't seem to be open every day, and seems to close by 6? I look forward to healthy, fresh dinners arriving hot and ready to enjoy each night. I was worried about the food selection at first because I am somewhat of a picky eater, but was very happy to find that not only were the dinners tasty, I was actually enjoying trying new types of food! The Dine In 2Nite menu is preplanned (you can check it on their website) and takes inspiration from different ethnic cuisines and styles so you don't get bored. Even better, there are usually fresh and well-prepared veggies along with protein (much healthier than I usually manage to create at home!) The service has been very flexible, allowing us to change delivery times and dates as we go on vacation. I lived walking distance from People's Co-op circa 2004 where I lived right across from the now defunct all vegan coffeeshop aka Red and Black. In 2004-2005 I was a working member cleaning the bulk bins as my seva aka service. This is where I first started teaching yoga at the community room upstairs at People's Co-op. Dusty started the program that sadly is no longer currently active. They had some great classes there and have fond memories of a Iyenger influenced yoga teacher that taught classes I liked. This was when I was teaching classical hatha yoga and had not yet shifted my yoga teaching to the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition. Fast forward to the moment of Jun 20223. It's the return and went to People's Co-op. It still is an amazing place. They have a farmer's market here every Wed. Their bulk selection is amazing (see my photos) and so is there produce. Friendly and helpful staff. Afterwards go to Belmont for heaps of plant based, vegetable forward, tasty, amazing vegan restaurants and food trucks that are amazing. Vegan bars, vegan food trucks, innovative vegan restaurants like Fermenter, and more that will satisfy all folks who follow whatever diet from vegan to paleo to gluten-free to omnivore.

Located in the main hospital on the 9th floor, it stocks a small variety of ready-to-eat items like salads, fruit parfait in a cup and yogurt. The largest selection of items are bars (Cliff, Luna, Kind, etc.), as well as healthier versions of chips, nuts and other snack food items. The most perplexing section was the freezer case. I'm guessing this caters to hospital employees with easy access to microwaves.

They have a great selection of snacks but most importantly their food options are amazing and I can always find something that won't upset my delicate stomach. They also have a vast section of drinks, including an impressive amount of cold teas and kombucha.
