I've debated on writing this review because I truly believe Liliya has genuine care for patients…read more However, when thinking about the misguided medical advice and hundreds and hundreds of dollars I spent, I feel the need to strongly advise women 35 and older to avoid her practice.  I don't want anyone else to waste time and money like I did.  I came to Liliya in an attempt to find relief from extreme anxiety, weight gain, gastrointestinal issues, and migraines. After many months of following Liliya's treatment plan, which included expensive cleanses, supplements, hair tests, pellets, and sound bites on top of her monthly fee, I was no better.  Enough was enough. I had to find more adequate care to find out what I had already suspected, my symptoms were due to menopause. I had mentioned this suspicion to Liliya but she blew me off.  Liliya's approach was fragmented, focusing on individual symptoms rather than addressing the underlying hormonal imbalance.  The whole reason I came to a holistic doctor was to have my body looked at as a whole, and Liliya was not doing this.  I remember Liliya saying that I had "so many different symptoms" that she needed to focus on what was bothering me most first.  Well any medical practitioner who knows anything about menopause would recognize every one of the symptoms I was experiencing as menopause. We're not talking about some obscure disease that no one has heard of.  We are talking about menopause. A period of life that every woman goes through if she lives long enough. With the symptoms I was experiencing, this should have been one of the first, if not the very first thing ruled out before going through the crazy litany of potions she continued to sell me for months on end. I urge others to seek a practitioner who can effectively address hormonal issues and provide comprehensive care. The time and money I wasted on Liliya's treatments were infuriating.

No one or no company is perfect, but how they handle issues speaks volumes and these guys did it right. ------------------ I called for a routine thing - transitioning my ADHD medication from one state to another following a move. I have been taking this medication successfully, at the same dose, for over 20 years. It's no big deal right? Wrong. After a 30 minute conversation they decided I am possibly not ADHD at all(spoiler: I am), think I may have a completely different condition (that my fabulous therapist of 10+ years and previous psychiatrists missed apparently), and declined to transition my medication unless I was treated for said other condition first(not simultaneously). The fact that this medication is basically required for me to do my job is I guess not that important? I am not upset, but the experience was bizarre, and the priorities were way out of order. It is their right to do so, but it's also mine to record my complaints about my experience.

Apparently if you question her diagnosis after years of failure, you lack incite and therefore have mental illness of her prejudice. I stop seeing her and have had a few psych's after her and finally am better under a different cluster of disease categories. Maybe it was covid or maybe it was her lacking incite into her own ego. Sometimes one diagnosis doesn't work better than a list. I'm glad I found a new psychiatrist that listens and doesn't gaslight. I wanted to write a formal letter from my lawyer but it's literally not worth it. Medicine is a practice; hope she improves.

To her though, this meant she could charge me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to see me for a few twice a week for almost 6 months - the regular rate was $80ish, mine would be $135. This would be almost ok for getting help, but I really didn't get any real therapy. Therapy is coping resources, breathing or stress relief techniques, emergency resources for a crisis, help setting up a support system, information for group therapy... Things like that Carol. Talking to you daily about when I may get money to pay you for an hour twice a week is not therapeutic, it's extremely stressful and is a reminder of how bad my life is. In that time I learned many things; that she wants to stop renting and buy a home but needed down payment money, that my sessions would only be me discussing when I thought I'd be getting my money, and then that I would not get ANY type of guidance or help recovering from the PTSD, agoraphobia, panic disorder and OCD I came to her for! The only thing she ever did for me was filled out a couple of papers to help me get short term disability when she got around to it. I didn't get any real help until I found a different program. The worst was when I went into labor early and was hospitalized, nearly lost my son, and missed an appointment. I bet you can guess what happened next - I got an email demanding money! Because when you know you have a patient who is several months pregnant and has health problems, the FIRST thing anyone at all would be thinking about would be rescheduling useless therapy visits, right? So I should have pulled the breathing tube out and pulled out my cell phone out of my a** and rescheduled my appointment to avoid your angry and disappointed emails, phone calls and texts, right? Beware!Let me just add a note here. LARA, who regulates the licensing in Michigan, claims that Carol DOES NOT have a license to provide health care services in Michigan.
