I have been to other clinics for sessions, but Emily has explained in detail my treatment and given me her hands on therapy that has really made a difference. The exercises are precise and her knowledge shows her skilled education. She has also addressed my neck pain after having cervical surgery last September. If you need a quieter and more private experience, you'll want to specifically mention that when checking out other PT facilities. I have had physical therapy before and I have never had a therapist/technician working with two clients at one time. That may be the norm now, but it certainly wasn't in the past and that is the experience you will have at this facility. The intake room was private and quiet, but the physical therapy that goes on in the main part of the facility is open to everyone and rather small. I wouldn't have a problem with that if the staff were attentive to their clients rather than socializing with each other, but that was not the case. The targeted exercises, availability at this facility, and the Limber app were all great. Unfortunately, the overall experience was too loud and distracting for me to consider using them long-term.

A friend recommended Ivy in Keego, so I scheduled an appointment. Kim was amazing -- she had me try dry needling my first appointment. After that first appointment my pain went from a 9 to a 5. I can say today the pain is almost entirely gone, and Kim and the team are the reason. Before going to PT, I thought they were just gonna give me exercises. However, Kim was able to massage the painful areas to loosen up my muscles. After a couple appointments I started doing exercises which have taught me how to lift weights properly and how to use a foam roller (which I also have at home). I can't recommend this place enough. I was told that I could and had to miss a whole week because none was available. Machines too close for pandemic times. But what got me was how unprofessional the staff was at times. Talk about other patients using their first name so all there could hear. Also really didn't look at the long list of the regular physical therapy exercises or even keep it to add to my chart so all that worked on me had the information. Team Rehabilitation did and it helped greatly in my treatment. I was told I could do all of them but when I asked later about a certain one I was then told not to do that one. I ended my therapy when it came time to be checked and measured to get more appointments approved. It wasn't worth my $40 copay for each visit. I have never done that before but I know what good physical therapy should look like and feel like.
