After he was done, he asked me what i wanted. I told him my husband need his blood drawn. He asked for my husbands date of birth and name and then told him to go sit and wait. I tried to explain to him that my husband was hard of hearing and he got nasty with me. I asked that he explain to the lab tech to speak loudly when she came out to call him. This old man told me "Oh he will hear her all right. She got a loud voice" He was really rude.

A broken bone and casting are very scary things to deal with when you're seven-years-old, but everyone explained very patiently what they were doing to help my son, and he calmed down and felt better. When he wasn't so stressed out, the healing could begin. Everyone from the woman on the phone making our appointment, to the assistants who got us situated in rooms, to the x-ray techs who took new pictures of the break each time, to those lucky souls who got to cut off the old casts (the loudest part, and my son's least favorite) were excellent. While we hope never to need them again, this would be our first call if we were dealing with a similar emergency again.

At 11:10, I was so frustrated that I asked again what was going on, and the second receptionist didn't like my tone of voice and pointed to the sign that said to have respect for the personnel. While I know my dad had been to this hospital previously (and maybe didn't have the best experience in their ER), this was my first personal experience there, and I was more than pleased with the care provided from the staff, the overall cleanliness, and additional hospital amenities including the local farm, cafe, coffee shop, gift store, gardens, wifi, and so much more. While this is not where we envisioned my dad spending his final days, the staff were all super accommodating to his needs and our's. I just wanted to write this review as a thank you to the Trinity Health team... and a special shoutout to the paliative care doctors and Nurse Katie who was there with me at the very end... We appreciate you all and have so much admiration for the work that you do. Thank you.

I was sent to this hospital to have a bone marrow biopsy. Not too big of a deal. I had one a few…read moreyears back at a doctor's office, as well. So, I wasn't expecting the traumatic experience that I ended up having. To make a long story short, I was in a gown outside the operating room when they informed me that I may feel pressure and pain shooting down my leg during this procedure. I asked why in the world I would feel ANYTHING, you know because of twilight anesthesia. As a side note, I was given this at my first bone marrow biopsy. I was then informed that I wouldn't be getting any anesthesia...just fentanyl and Benedryl. I was alarmed and concerned at finding this out and told that to the nurse. He proceeded to get someone else who bluntly told me I could reschedule and get a tube stuck down my throat! I was inquiring about twilight, NOT getting general anesthesia and she knew that. Super rude and inappropriate. I had to explain that it was incredibly difficult for me to get a ride there that morning because I have two children with autism and my husband had to be at home with them. So I told her for me, it was not just that easy to reschedule. I haven't been treated so badly in a medical setting since my last visit to the same hospital, 18 years ago. I wish my husband had reminded me that I swore I wouldn't go back there again. This is by far, the worst choice for medical care in this area! Beware if you are having any procedures or surgery. Make sure you're getting the proper anesthesia for you. This was a very traumatic experience on many levels, including being met with such defensive attitudes when trying to address the issue. Additionally, if you are in any way a recovering alcoholic, I highly recommend not letting hospitals give you the drug fentanyl, instead of true anesthesia. I can only assume this saves them hundreds of thousands of dollars, by not having to pay a nurse anesthetist's very high fees. It was very scary. I haven't felt drunk in three years and I've worked hard to say that. Fentanyl will make you feel it though. Takes you right back to that feeling you've worked so hard to leave behind. Fentanyl and Benadryl instead of anesthesia for a BONE MARROW BIOPSY! Never again Trinity. St Joes. Whatever you are these days. And thanks for treating me like crap through this whole thing. Be warned!

The staff are kind and professional. The food is so/so. The facility is clean and very attractive making visitors & patients feel very welcomed. There is plenty of parking up front. The front desk are always friendly and knowledgeable. There is a huge, gorgeous courtyard. There is a beautiful lobby and massive, impressive sitting area overlooking the courtyard. The rooms are of fair size and are always very clean.
