The provider was very professional, skilled, and did an excellent job managing my care. That said, whatever process is used for scheduling is terrible. I arrived 15 minutes before my appt. And was not seen until 70 minutes after my scheduled time. The reason is not the staff or the provider. It's the scheduler trying to squeeze in too many into the day. Many of the other patients I saw were elderly. They need more time than 15 minutes. Bottom line is the schedule process does not provide the medical care experience that I think AiD leadership would expect. This needs to be fixed.

However, I was under the impression that Blue Cross Blue Shield was my primary insurance. After seeing him twice, I discovered that I was actually out-of-network, and Aetna was supposed to cover the visits. He then called, demanding immediate payment of the $140 balance and was quite rude. I offered to make a payment within the month, but he was not amenable and threatened to send the bill to collections. It would be beneficial for the provider to hire a front desk staff member capable of verifying insurance coverage before appointments. This could help avoid negative reviews related to insurance and payment issues. Additionally, during my visits, the provider performed minimal adjustments and spaced out appointments, which appeared to be an attempt to increase billing frequency. This approach seems both inefficient and dishonest. Consequently, I would not recommend this provider.

We arrived on-time to our appointments but had a mountain of paperwork to fill out with numerous questions, which pushed back our time by 30-40 minutes. I was nervous the doctor would be upset with us but he treated us in a very positive demeanor and took great care of us. The office was clean and comfortable, the staff was fantastic and the doctor was thorough. I asked many questions and he took the time to answer everything in detail, knowing full well that we probably wouldn't be returning patients considering we are from a different state.
