My 33 year old Central Unit finally died 5 days ago, and Accu-Air gave us a very reasonable quote for a new unit of the same brand name, and had the unit shipped, and installed within 4 days. This is in the middle of a significant heat wave, so they are swamped with work right now, really appreciate them getting this done for us. I highly recommend this company.

Now they have a higher overhead / more employees, and are no longer that great company. My new unit I purchased from them went down under warranty. I was shocked when they told me I needed to purchase another due to unavailable parts from the manufacture. I called the maker direct who assured me they stand behind their warranty, would gladly send the free replacement part, and assured me I was being scammed into a sale If told otherwise. After nearly 2 months of calling Acu-Air, 3 repairmen showed up?...Three? Each charged 100$ per hour despite only 1 man doing anything, plus 99$ service call. Then lied & claimed almost twice actual time worked. Labor only, 499$ I called the owner who holds a great reputation as a person & businessman to ask why 3 men for a plug&play repair on a unit he installed all by himself? He sheepishly replied, "It is a 3 man crew." (That was his only explanation) He took long pauses & talked low as he mentioned the workers had forgot to clock out so he had to take their word for time worked. So... I owed whatever they claimed, he no way to check how long they were actually there. What??? I paid the bill. But this company I referred dozens to will never receive my recommendation again.

The folks we bought it from just topped it off each time before they showed the house. So instead of struggling with the old unit All Temp installed a new unit for us. Two years later, I've had a couple of questions about the unit and they've answered those questions and even made a trip out once to help. Didn't charge me. I've got a bit of knowledge about these systems, and they've have answered honestly and not tried to mislead me. Their techs have great knowledge and are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend these guys. Equipment these days are expensive but you get what you pay for. Use them you won't regret it.
