From start to finish, Brian and Justin not only met our expectations, but far exceeded them on all counts. Their quality of workmanship, selection of high-grade materials, and attention to every detail far exceeded our expectations. Justin, who is also a highly skilled electrician himself, is a true craftsman with a focus on fine details (many of which that would not be visible) when installing our new cabinets, lighting, appliances, etc. He took the time to ensure that every thing was to our satisfaction every day and exceeded it....every day . Brian is a skilled Project manager, Master Electrician, and himself very detail oriented. In addition to providing all the new electrical service to our home, He took care of all the details involving the scheduling the Plumbing, Drywall, for this extensive remodel. Communication was outstanding during this project. He also went above and beyond on many things that were not specified in the quote that he didn't have to do, but did so to ensure everything was done right and to our satisfaction. After 3 attempts, it finally worked. I called B & L to diagnose why my electric bills were so high (unrelated to the hot water heater). Brian not only diagnosed the problem (a setting on my whole house generator), he also discovered the other company's "fix" was to disconnect my fire alarm and use that line for my hot water heater! Brian fixed that quickly, and my home was again safe. They are my "go-to" company for anything electrical.

I had a tiling project where I didn't trust myself to be able to properly cut and space the tile around our irregular shower wall. He did such an impressive job and I'm a perfectionist. It truly looks fantastic. You would never know that there isn't a straight angled wall in that bathroom. In addition to our tile project, he also cut and hung our new interior doors, framed in a wall in the back of our laundry room covering a poorly built machinery access. Everything he did was well built, and his trade skills were impeccable. I am notoriously picky about perfection when it comes to finishes, and Jason was a level beyond even my standards. When it comes to customer service, he was very respectful with noise, and the work area was spotlessly clean after he left. Jason also impressed me with his ethics and professionalism. If I was not able to be present for some reason, I would trust him to continue working in my home unsupervised any day. I also knew that any quote I received would not mysteriously change after work began. Along with their professionalism, they do excellent QUALITY work, including the cleanup, with efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail. I was blown away by the amazing service I received. We agreed to the terms on a Friday and 5 days later my roof job was started and completed in 1 day. He sent me a video of the decking after the old roof was torn off and another video showing the finished, new roof. He also went to the neighbor's houses early that day to let them know that work was being done on our house. Several of my relatives were at the house and were all impressed by Jose and his crew. Had a terrible experience with this contractor. They were to tear down/rebuild garage and add an…read moreaddition, do some drainage work and paint the new garage and house. They never pulled permits and the township made them vacate the property. Took two months for them to finish permits and get started. They never put in the footers under the cement pad addition per the requirements on the building permit. They rarely showed up to work and then usually 1 person would work for a few hours. When they finally got OSB sheets on the roof they never covered it so it has sat all winter and spring in the weather. Finally fired them and township insepctors have now reviewed the work and indicated all of the code violations. They have a significant amount of our money and we still do not have anything that was contracted for. I would look elsewhere.

He plan was to run two lines, however, he found the issue with the original electrical line, and only had to run the updated line for the GFCI. He put all of the outlets back in the wall that I had exposed to get him the overview of the job. He completed the work of troubleshooting the electrical issue and ran a new line up through a crawl space in three hours.

So, i Called another company and they are FABULOUS. JEWETT HEATING AND COOLING. HE WENT TO MUSKEGON AND PICKED UP THE PART pressure switch and cleaned out the drain tube . They charged $224.00 for all of it. Best company to go to if you have troubles. I think this westshore mechanical owes my friend his money back.
