This is a long review, and a long time coming but I wanted to give the office a chance but I feel it's very important information for anyone considering this office. I was a patient at Fullerton Neurology for years when Dr. Florin was there, and my experience during that time was wonderful. The staff was kind, professional, and I always felt comfortable and cared for. Unfortunately, after Dr. Londoño took over, my experience completely changed. The website still listed Dr. Florin for quite some time, which was misleading, but the final interaction I had there was enough for me to never return. During a Botox appointment, my husband took a quick photo while I was receiving injections along my scalp line. We genuinely did not realize photos were not allowed and absolutely would have respected that policy had we been told beforehand. The moment the photo was taken, Dr. Londoño reacted in a way that was honestly shocking. She began screaming at my husband repeatedly, demanded he unlock his phone, watched him delete the photo, and then ordered him to leave the office. He apologized multiple times and immediately complied. I was left sitting mid-procedure while she continued expressing how "violated" she felt. She also said she was so shaken up that she couldn't finish the procedure. The entire situation became extremely uncomfortable and escalated far beyond what seemed reasonable for a misunderstanding over a single photo that was immediately deleted. After the appointment, she told me she never wanted to see me again and that I needed to find a new doctor -- after years of being a patient there. I fully understand offices may have policies regarding photos, and I respect that. But the way this situation was handled felt incredibly unprofessional, aggressive, and upsetting. It was honestly one of the most uncomfortable interactions I've ever had with a medical professional. read more

Was turned away from getting Brain Scan/MRI results after having multiple seizures because I can't pay my CoPay today and they say they can't bill CoPays. Even though i have a CoPay bill sitting at home from them right now that they accidentally charged me for from to my last appointment, because i paid the copay before seeing the doctor the other times i visited the office. Just like the rest of the current reviews I find that the office has changed. Although I like the new Doctor the office has declined. I have tried several times to get my Botox and they told me my pharmacy no longer took my insurance.. totally fine. They said a new pharmacy would call me and they never did I called to try to get the pharmacy information to speed up the process and no one called me back I tried every other day and they don't return calls or text messages like before. They now have a call center in India and no one can help you they just transfer you to voicemail ( which is completely full) it's very frustrating and in unprofessional now. This office staff is terrible, disorganized, and it is a nightmare to get an initial appointment. I have tried to call this office multiple times and it goes straight to voicemail every time and the voicemail box is full. They do offer their texting phone number but it is still difficult to reach them and even more difficult to schedule an appointment once you maybe get a call/text back. I have never had so many issues with a doctor's office before to be able to make an appointment. This is definitely a turn off. I will find a different neurologist. Also, Dr. Londono is not taking patients with the diagnosis of dementia at this time because they are full capacity. read more

Dr. Florin was amazing. This new Dr he has Diana London is awful. She is rude and has a short temper. When I first started seeing her she would only bring in 1/4 of the medication that needed to be administered. When I said something I could tell she was annoyed. I had to repeatedly advocate for myself just to get the medication that I had been getting previously. My Botox is paid for and then sent from the pharmacy directly to their office. It is all to be administered for me. Nothing should be left over or saved for any other patient as it is my prescription. It was really weird the way she would come in and either not bring in all the medication or she would hide it under a paper. I also noticed they did not change the paper on the counter in between patients that the medication was placed on. You could see that it was visibly wet and soiled. This is very unhygienic and could spread disease and bacteria since they are doing medical procedures. On one occasion I noticed she was injecting much higher than I had had in the past and I asked about it. She got visibly upset and jammed her finger into my forehead and said this is where it's supposed to go. I told her that hurt and it was not ok to do that to me. She brushed it off. I just really wanted to get out of there. The next appointment I brought someone with me and they said that at one point she went to inject me but there was nothing left in the syringe, so she was just pretending to administer the Botox. My most recent appointment I brought somebody again and the staff said it's her new policy to not allow anyone in with patients. I said I was more comfortable with someone there. They led us to the room and shortly after Diana came in already visibly angry saying that the person I brought needs to get out. I said I want a chaperone in with me and would be ok if it was a staff member. She became even more angry and said this is a procedure and I can't have anyone in there with me. At that point she refused to administer my medication. There are many other reviews about her that talk about her rudeness and so on. They are on point. I hope Dr Florin is able to get someone else in his office. This woman is ruining his practice. It's very unfortunate. Diana London also works at Desert Neurology & Sleep. Just had one of the worst doctor appointments of my life. We have waited months to see a neurologist and had such hope that we could get some answers and a possible treatment plan. But after being interrupted over and over, having our concerns dismissed and then yelled at by Dr. Diana Londono, She failed to explain things clearly and even backtracked on herself. When I asked a question to clarify, she dismissed me again. We will never be back and hope no one goes to this doctor ever again. She is full of pride and ego and has zero compassion or empathy for patients. She has an agenda and if your concerns don't follow her agenda, she calls you out, huffs in your face, rolls her eyes, and lectures you that she can see anyone she wants. "I'm taking control of this appointment. If you think it's (your condition) bad now, just wait ten years." Wow. I was stunned, infuriated, disgusted, and sad that this woman has been allowed to practice medicine. She is horrible. I will be filing a complaint and notifying our primary care doctor so they don't refer any more patients to this wretched being. We left worse off than when we came, still no clear diagnosis, no treatment plan, nothing. She has zero ethics and clear disregard for the solemn vow, First Do No Harm. read more

I've never experienced such blatant disregard from a doctor before. I couldn't even tell you her name because she didn't even introduce herself. I attended the appointment with my mom because she is Korean and her English is not the best. When the doctor would ask her questions about her issues she was just so condescending! For example, the doctor asked my mom how long the electric shocks that's been happening in her head lasts and my mom misunderstood as how long this has been happening for and replied about a year. The way the doctor responded was so aggressive and corrected her in such a rude way. One of several examples of her unprofessional attitude. Literally as this was happening I was searching the online reviews and regretted coming to this specialist. By then end of the consultation all the doctor said was, "I think you're fine, everyone has shocks in their brains every once in a while". While we obviously hope that is the case, we will get a 2nd opinion at a much more professional place elsewhere. I don't know who this woman thinks she is, but as a doctor and especially a specialist dealing with neurological issues she should display the upmost quality care and compassion for all patients. read more

Let me start by writing how very , very happy I was when Dr. Florin was the neurologist! He literally saved my life when I was ready to end it from pain and I'll never be more grateful. Since Dr London took over the practice, I have been extremely unhappy and looking for another neurologist. The office staff has the worst customer support./service (non existent) and shows no care for the patients needs. When I reported my unsatisfactory opinion, she basically told me to prove it, pull up phone records that I've called and not been taken care of!!! Since that conversation, I have been treated in the same manner and if not worse. I have missed multiple treatments because of that office and I am back to suffering chronic pain, but I will not return that practice. I was so sad when Dr. Florin retired, he was amazing! Dr Florin and his PA Allison were wonderful. They have a new Dr. since he retired and she is horrible. She is rude was yelling at me because I asked her to do my migraine injections like Allison did. The time before when she did them they didn't work. She did it differently and I got more migraines than ever. She was yelling at me, pointing her finger in my face and refused to do my injections. Stood in the doorway so I couldn't leave and wouldn't refund the amount I paid! Her name is Dr. Diana Londono. I do. Ot recommended at all. Per Dante's response. I have video of her unprofessional behavior. All I was asking for was for the protocol and she refused. I have not received a refund yet. I have reported this to my insurance company. I had a telephonic appointment today with Dr. Londono. I called in exactly at 4pm. At 4:01 I received a text message indicating my appointment was at 3:45pm and telling me to reschedule. At 4:04 pm I began one of three calls to their office while I was online and each time I was sent to voice mail. At no time did the Doctor enter the appointment. I finally reached someone via phone, she confirmed my appointment was at 4:00pm but said that Doctor had to leave. Very poor communication and business skills! I loved the previous staff Dr. Florin and PA Allison and don't understand what is going on with this current staff. I have never had an experience like this with any Doctor! I waited months to come see a Headache specialist. I have a history of migraines. And Dr Londono never introduced her self when she came in my room. She wanted to refer me out to an ENT when I came in to get help with my migraines. When I made my appt it was with Dr Florin and I didn't expect to see someone else. I walked out on the dr after she told me she didn't think she could help me. I was crying because all I wanted was someone who knows about headaches to give me advice on what I can try. I came here to see someone with knowledge on headaches/migraines. But unfortunately she didn't seem to think she could help me. And she was upset with me because I was crying! No compassion. She didn't not seem caring. And she did not seem like she had the knowledge to help someone with headaches. This was the worst experience. If I could pick 0 stars I would. RUN far away from here, the good neurologist retired and Diana Londono the only neurologist here needs to get her brain checked. She is the rudest "doctor" I have ever visited. She basically screamed I can't read this mri report, I didn't order it...when the report was right in front of her. She treated my young nephew like crap and scared him even more and kept repeating She couldn't read an mri report because she didn't order it like a psychopath when the mri report was sitting in front of her. Then said she didn't know what he had and we said it's written on the report, we are asking what this means for him. You guessed it , we were answered with I can't read this mri report because I didn't order it. She needs to be stripped of her license becuase she obviously has some mental issues. read more

Looking elsewhere now to see a neurologist, as I felt like I had to inform the new doctor of how Dr. Florin treated me at each appointment, as she introduced herself to me each time like we just met. I also asked about my EEG results via their text system, but they said they would review it my next appointment, whereas in the past they would have given me a call with the results when Dr. Florin was seeing me. Btw, we did not review the EEG results. Just Dr. Lonzano asking again about my previous treatment with Dr. Florin. The cash price also increased double too, but luckily I have insurance now. Their text system needs improvement, they say they will respond when they are back in the office but they never do. Also I had to remind them to send my prescription to the pharmacy several times. They are nice, but I do care about the service I am receiving and being remembered, as Dr. Florin and the previous staff set that high expectation before he retired. On another note, they did not put in their system that I paid $500 a few months ago, so apparently there was a balance on my account. I felt like I had to be the one to resolve the issue on their end and it put me off. read more

I would give my visit a ZERO! I have been coming here for several years and always received such great care from Dr. Florin and Allison, the PA. The new doctor, Dr. Londono is terrible! From the moment she walked in, she was extremely rude. She began to argue with me about my headaches and previous treatment. She showed no care or concern about me as a patient. She even insisted that I can't be a patient there if I don't go regularly every 6 weeks to 3 months! She told me that I can't just go there whenever I feel like it! My nerve block injections typically last up to 6 months. I'm supposed to go even when I don't need the injections?!? I ended up walking out. I will NOT be returning! Hard to believe the lack of care and horrible bedside manners this doctor has. Nothing like Dr. Florin at all! read more

If negative stars were possible, this place would deserve them. More specifically the front desk Vera and the neurologist herself. You are able to tell when medical professionals are in it to genuinely help the population and when they are simply in it for the money. Please if you are suffering with any neuro condition, take your care as far away from this place as possible. I left upset because it was a complete waste to call of work and a waste of copay. My experience comes in dealing with his office staff, never the doctor himself. My wife was a patient of Dr Floran and in scheduling a follow-up appointment for her was notified that there was an unpaid balance due, and the doctor would not see her again until it is satisfied. This is not surprising, as all doctor's offices seem to be afraid to ask for money, and wait months or years. Literally yesterday, I was on the phone with another office and was informed of an outstanding $1,500 account, nearly 3 years after treatment for which we were not yet billed. 3 years! I digress. So I asked how much, figuring it was from get last visit and would be a few hundred bucks. Nope. It was thousands of dollars, from a 2008 workers compensation case. They said they refuse to see her again until we contact the collection agency, acknowledge the debt and pay at least a minimum amount. I told her that was ridiculous, first, it would be illegal for him to bill a 13 year old debt, which has already been charged off. Second, the debt was not hers to begin with, while she was the patient, the debt was the responsibility of her employer's work comp company. And the fact that he was unhappy with the settlement arrangement does not indebt my wife. Third, even if I felt remorseful for his settlement, I don't know if he agreed to the settlement and felt screwed or it went to court and he got screwed. Either way, we are not going to destroy our credit by taking responsibility for a 13-year-old account and having some collection agency brand her credit report with 13 years of unpaid collection activity. Lastly, I don't know how much said collection agency would be planning to charge for 13 years of interest and late fees on this account, for which he was never legally entitled to collect. As far as the doctor goes, my wife missed more days at work in the couple months of his care, unable to function, staying home with intense migraines than in the previous 5 years combined. She was nearly fired for missing so many days. Her migraines were more intense than ever, once she blacked out and literally faceplanted into the floor breaking her nose. While we did appreciate the coupons for free experimental medications, they didn't work. In the year since leaving his care and seeing another neurologist, she has only missed 1 day of work and very rarely has suffered a migraine. read more

This office is a joke, I've been waiting to get a call back from a supervisor for week now, due to a procedure that needs to be done, my last visit was two months ago!! No one knows what's going on!! My insurance approved the procedure this office hasn't called me to schedule, so I call and get the round around!! Asked for a supervisor and then their system is down. Don't waste your time here!! This doctor made no sense. I was referred here by my ENT doctor and was excited to finally get answers but nothing came from seeing this doctor. She couldn't answer my questions with any definite answers, seemed more like responses with no meaning or knowledge as to what's going on. I have had headaches for a very long time. Sharp enough to where I feel the hospital is a need. These headaches consist every day. I had told the doctor this information where she first put me on a medicine that didn't help at all. She then put me on a new medication of nerve blockers. Now this medicine did help but would only dampen my headaches. I told her I still had headaches every day just not as strong or if they were strong it seemed more rare (sharp). Her plan was for me to record my headaches on a sheet of paper which made no sense since I had explained they are every day and pretty consistent. I had asked her if I would be on nerve blockers for the rest of my life or what's her plan. She said she hopped the headaches would stop in a couple months. That didn't make sense either since never blocking medicine is only temporary. Doesn't make long lasting affects. Every appointment as well she forgot about my case. I understand she might have a lot of patients but the appointments were repetitive and didn't go anywhere. Well anyways a waste of $70 each appointment. Don't be fooled by the average 3.5 star rating, this is an extremely professional and competent neurology center. I just returned from my initial appointment with Dr. Florin and am really glad I went to see him. After being checked in efficiently and courteously by Jeanette, and seeing how new, spacious, clean and inviting the office looked, I knew I was in good hands. I want to take a moment here to thank Jeanette for her work. From the moment I signed in, she effortlessly guided me through the check-in process in a manner that only those who excel at their jobs can do. I was taken to a waiting room immediately, and Dr. Florin arrived very shortly after: Another good indicator that the visit would be worth it. He asked many questions about my condition, the sure sign of a doctor who is interested, and covered my entire headache history. At first I was a little bit intimidated by the pace of his rapid-fire questions, but it became clear a little later in our visit that he was only seeking information so he could formulate the most accurate new patient evaluation possible. About midway through our appointment, I started to see that Dr. Florin was carefully weighing everything I had told him, perhaps as much as he would if he were treating a dear friend or even a family member. He made a few suggestions and reassured me that he could help me get authorized for these treatments through my insurance. He has a long wait for new patient appointments for a good reason. I saw Dr Hijazin because of my doctor's recommendation. At first I was hopeful as he seemed to listen. However I had a horrific migraine that lasted 12 days that caused me to end up in the emergency room. I called his office and got his answering service. I left multiple messages with the service over a three day span explaining what happened and the need for stronger medications As I was in Danger of needing to go back to the ER. I also called his office several more times , leaving a couple of messages but many times the voicemail was full!!! His office waited to call me back 10 days later. He gave me new meds on our first visit and I called several times to say they weren't working. Complete silence! When they did call back the person who returned the call said, "well I'm calling you now, we get lots of calls and have lots of patients..." rude and completely unprofessional since they were 100 % in the wrong!!! Well as of now they have one less so they can call back their other patients in a more timely manner. If my migraine is so bad that I have to go to the ER ( I've suffered from them for years so I have a whole arsenal of meds I took that didn't work) and you can't be bothered.... You are definitely not the doctor for me!!! Ten days...... TEN DAYS!!! I asked if the doctor was on vacation and they said no, he's just busy... UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Update: 17 days so far, I left more messages and still no response... Seems bordering on neglect at the very least!!!! read more

My daughter went to Dr Ela because she passes out and we don't know why. This is obviously potentially dangerous, and it interferes with her ability to do daily tasks. He ordered tests, but his front office staff took forever. The blood work he wanted our primary to order. I have never seen a doctor who wanted bloodwork and expected another doctor to send in a request on his behalf. Even my primary doctor thought it was ridiculous and did not do it. A month later we were still waiting, even though both of us called repeatedly. They don't answer the phone during business hours often, and don't respond to voicemails ( she left several and got one call back). We finally got the bloodwork and one test done, it has been two weeks and I had to request the test results in person to get them. At one point, one employee told my daughter she didn't feel like helping her because she was rude. ( This was after calling over and over and getting no responses or getting the run around). The entire experience has been troubling and frustrating.I would not recommend this office to anyone who values their time or needs help with a situation serious enough to need a neurologist. read more

My husband has seen multiple doctors over 4 years, including a couple other neurologists. Dr. Florin was able to correctly diagnose the problem that others just threw up their arms and shrugged. He also had a very kind bedside manner in the process. He is very thorough , but does not order tests for the sake of ordering tests. He listens and explains everything carefully. His staff is friendly, well organized and they actually return calls! One would hope that you don't need a neurologist, but if you do, I highly recommend Dr. Florin. read more

Dear Parents out there please don't take your children to this doctor. My experience is was bad. First Dr. Floorin is not a very nice person, rude , not easy to talk too. Second, he prescribe medications to my 23 year old autistic had seen him since March until recently in September, which either she had bad allergy reaction and make her seizures . I understand the medications will have a different reactions. My daughter had at least 6 seizures from March till now on and off. And few times I called Dr. Flooring he kept telling me to increase the dosage of her meds. Seriously my daughter is a human being not your genie pig that something went wrong you jus told increase dosage of her medication? Turn out because of her medications her sodium level was so low and cause a seizures. This is a learning experience to me as a mother of 23 years old autistic. But for all of this do your research to find a good, decent, compassion, smart doctor. Good luck. I had an obligation to post this to help other parents out here. Dr. Florin and his team was the first one that actually listened to what was going on, did not juSt ask closed ended questions and actually took the time to listen to my concerns. His nurses Alex and Laurie are AMAZING and truly help make you feel at home. One day I fainted in the office and became paralyzed from the neck down as the office was preparing to close. The staff quickly saw to make me feel comfortable as they took my vitals, and even pushed me in a wheelchair to the nearby hospital so that I wouldn't have to pay for an ambulance! They even stayed to observe me after hours for a few hours in the hospital that night to make sure I was ok. read more
