A super solid American Chinese buffet! My mom and sister love this place and I finally met them there to try it on a Sunday afternoon. The decor sculptures made with forks and spoons and knives were a fun and unique greeting upon entry. They have a good variety of dishes, and the service was great. They made sure our water glasses were always full and were on it with taking away empty plates. I even saw an employee swapping out serving utensils at the buffet as well. They have some sushi (small pieces but you can take as many as you want), a MTO hibachi option, and hot dishes as well as some cold options and dessert. They did not have orange chicken or miso soup, but the vegetable lo mein and vegetable egg rolls were great and I loved the green beans and mushrooms as well. We stopped here while on the way to Cuyahoga for a family trip, and we were super-impressed with how good everything was here. Service, not so friendly, but they were efficient. The place was very clean, and we loved the decor. Coming from a place in PA where there is always a Chinese buffet option somewhere close, our whole family stated we wished we lived near this restaurant. The selection was great, the quality was good, and the price was fair. There were a lot of options we NEVER get back home at our local buffet options. We were even able to try some new things we've never had. We would definitely go back here, and will be adding it to our list of places to go when we come into town. read more

I really really love this place. When you think Chinese buffet this is exactly what I would want everyone to picture. Huge bars of many different foods has a hibachi grill to make hibachi meals as well as a soup section cold food like green mussels and peel shrimp and to top it off a huge dessert area with scoop your own ice cream. The restaurant itself is a casual dining experience and a pretty large area where you can bring big parties of people easily. The service staff is a friendly helpful and attentive they take away your plates and a timely fashion and keep your drinks always full. Went here for lunch today, and honestly the service was terrible. The waitress kept walking back and forth staring at us, then brought utensils three separate times even though we were only two people. When I asked for hot water, she brought two cups of iced water instead. On top of that, she cleaned up our whole table while we were still eating, as if she wanted us to leave. First time eating here today, the food was ok with nice variety of different entrees. I did encounter a problem upon arrival when the hostess/cashier did not believe my 10 year old daughter was 10. She said she is too tall to be 10, I said well she is 10 even though she is tall. She told me to show an ID for her or something showing her age. I'm sorry, I didn't know I had to bring a birth certificate to show my child's age to get the child price when she is within the age range. Price is reasonable- approximately $14 for lunch including tax but without drinks. It's been about ten years or so since I have been here and things are mostly the same as back then. Is it amazing food? No but it is fine. I even tried some sketchy looking dishes in there without consequences so have at it. Service was very quick as well. You also have to understand that buffets can't really be compared to regular restaurants as their metrics and operations are so different. But their existence is a corner stone of American culture so you kind to have to take it at face value and judge it for yourself. read more

I forget what they charge for the buffet (it's different for lunch & dinner) but the place is always clean & the buffet tables are always well-stocked with an incredible assortment of fresh appetizers, entrees, side dishes, desserts, a salad bar, a sushi bar, an ice cream bar & 2 different kinds of soups! I've been here several times and, while the atmosphere doesn't necessarily constitute "fine dining", the food is fresh, hot & of a reasonably high quality. Although I was a little skeptical at first, I think fun buffet might be the best restaurant in all of north east Ohio. From when you walk into the door to when you waltz out, your life will finally feel like it had a purpose. The walls of pain will collapse over and a spell of clarity will be placed onto you! I was treated with amazing service and even better food. My tastebuds were sprouting from timbucktoo. And to seal the final deal, I walked out the restaurant with my 10/10 wife and stared back to only be blessed with the most amazing site I've ever seen in my entire life (see attached picture). The food in this restaurant is very good. That is. Ot the problem tho! Its the service! We had over 16 people come to this restaurant today for my Mom's B-Day. And not one but 4 of my family members told me that right off the bat, the waitress was rude to them. They came and started sitting down, when she started off by " you cant sit there and at one occasion picked up my aunts glads and moved it to the other table. That incident might be a misunderstanding but all throughout the day she's come up to certain members of my family and was not too nice & not too welcoming. Finishing up with she start pushing the bill on me even having the nerve to tell us that there is a 15% tip/service charge added on! At this point my Mom and her friends were not done yet with her birthday luncheon. Now, this might be a language barrier issue because we went to the manager and told her what was going on. And she even said that it might be a language barrier, but here's the deal! This server is in the US! if there's a language problem then she needs to learn English, if she wants to continue to serve here. Now there's a million Chinese restaurants that we could go to and I am rethinking about not coming to this place ever again. But , I'm a person that gives people chances so if we ever go to this place again, we'll see if this behavior is still going on or they have corrected it. I should have listened to the voice in my head. 7:15 and the parking lot were pretty empty. I went in anyhow, and am seated. Seemed old and run down. All the trays seemed kind of empty. The food seemed like it was all re heated. The few Shrimp that they never refilled were tough and stringy. I did not see anything refilled the whole time I was there. Breaded items all tasted under cooked and doughy. The Roast beef was so tough I could not really cut it. Service was nonexistent, never refilled my drink which was 3.00 extra. The bill was 21.01 I thought what a rip off. The whole place was a major disappointment. I will not return and suggest stay away. read more

I would actually give this zero stars if the site allowed me to simply based on the staff at the register doubting the fact that my child is 10-years old based solely on her height. This is not an indicator of age. She was rude and told me I needed to provide a birth certificate for proof. No one has ever asked nor demanded this. Chinese buffets used to have character with the house specialties prominently displayed. Somewhere over time they became homogenized and decidedly non Chinese with pizza and sausage and other cuisine. Fun buffet is an exception. Although you will find the requisite pizza there is more attention to the Chinese dishes, using fresh ingredients and a sushi chef. read more

We were greeted with a friendly greeter, and seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and the buffet was well stocked. Their was a good selection of food, with a large sushi area. They had a Hibachi chef on duty to prepare your order if you chose that option. Both my wife and I enjoyed the food we got. We will definitely plan to go back again. Everything on the buffet was fresh, and it was packed. All the dishes were refilled in time. The sushi bar is decent for the price, at least nine options, I would guess, and their seaweed is tasty. The rest of the buffet was typical and standard. Seafood isn't served until later in the day, and that doesn't include crab legs. So, fish, shrimp, clams, and crawfish. This artwork was really neat.
