Maybe because it's in downtown Billings in an older area that somehow seems a fitting spot for a throwback way of listening to music, or maybe it's because there is an extraordinary collection of records in all genres, or perhaps it's the turntables for sale. I don't know exactly, but I spent quite a bit of time exploring. As I walked in, the owner explained the general layout and then left me to do what I enjoyed most -- exploring. It was a treasure hunt. There are some newer albums, of course, if you want to expand your collection without going to a box store. Some of the older albums, a few of them, appeared to be in their original shrinkwrap, so it would be like buying new, if that counts. The prices are reasonable, and even the rarer finds are not out of the range of reasonable. What I like, and didn't realize I missed with today's methods of delivering music, is the cover art. Sometimes just the front, sometimes the front and back, and sometimes both front and back and in a foldout, the art is truly extraordinary. Of those that had the picture of the artist, it's jarring to see how young that person looked (that was Rod Stewart? really?). Whew.

I apologized, but he started yelling at me and continued to follow me and my family through the store and berate us. At one point my mother put her hand slightly up and told him "we get it, we understand," and that is when he started to get aggressive, started yelling even more loudly at us, and he put his hand aggressively in my face. I did not feel safe, and I told him "we are happy to leave" and my family and I left as he continued to become more agitated. It was actually very shocking, uncomfortable, and disappointing. I would not recommend any woman shop in this store, alone or with others, and that any men who respect women not shop here either.

First, buying records remotely and on line has been perfected by this store with their daily flips of fresh restocks and used vinyl. Every day a new/used batch of vinyl hits the bins and is brought right to my computer screen. Sending a message through Facebook puts a hold on ANY LP that I want to purchase. Shipping and packaging is second to none, as everything arrives well packaged and ready to slap on the turntable. TJ, Colter, and the rest of the crew is friendly, helpful, and just great people to deal with. Their knowledge of music and their passion for vinyl is so apparent in everything they do. Pricing is, and has always been, very fair over the 4 years I have been purchasing vinyl from the store. The vinyl I receive has been cleaned and plays beautifully! I am picky as to the condition of the vinyl I play and buy, and the team at this store doesn't disappoint! I last reviewed this store in 2021 and was amazed back then with the selection and quality of vinyl they carry. I still consider this store one of my top 5 stores that I frequent to purchase vinyl!
