I'll give them kudo's for responding immediately and being extremely helpful and friendly during my initial call. I made arrangements to rent a large tent, was quoted the cost and received a confirmation email. Fast forward to the following day when my sister, Mother of the Bride, called to confirm set up date and time. She was told the "tent" had no sides and if she wanted sides, there would be an additional hefty charge. (Ok, I rented a TENT, which has sides, not a CANOPY which has no sides!) Being a situation where she had no options, she agreed to the addition, hefty charge. (Mind you, I was quoted the price shown on the website with an additional charge per panel for the sides. Now they've added on to that stating the original quote for a tent, not a canopy, did not include sides.) Arrangements were made via phone call between MOTB and personnel at KC Party for set up time and date. They called her back the night before the wedding---during rehearsal, no less-- asking her if she REEEEALLY wanted the tent or would she rather just cancel since the forecast had changed. She told them no, I reeeeally want the tent. They told her they didn't have anyone to set the tent up as early as it was needed and it couldn't be set up til late afternoon. She reminded them the ceremony began at 5pm, so to allow for decorating, table set up, etc. the tent had to be there earlier. They went on to inform her there were only three sides available and blah blah blah, so she agreed, "Ok, let's just cancel it" rather than sit there during rehearsal begging them to follow thru with the tent set up. THEN they informed her that they would only be refunding part of her money since she canceled. (SHE canceled, when they are the ones who called HER asking her if she really needed the tent, which they didn't have available, anyway since they had only 2 sides and we did not rent a freaking CANOPY!) Ultimately, the brides uncle negotiated with them and they refunded all but 75.00, however it should have been a 100 percent, full refund. The stress they caused the bride and Mother of the Bride was certainly worth that much. I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever.

I reserved a bounce house a month in advance for the annual company party for our employees and…read moretheir families. I personally spoke with the owner to discuss details and was assured that there was availability on our requested day and time. He told me to text the details and he would be there. On the day of the party he didn't show up at the allotted time of 2 p.m. I called the business number to inquire whether he was running late and was told that he "forgot" about our party. He said that he would have to "pick up the bounce house" but, that he could be there around 3:30 - a half hour after the party started. At 3:30, he still hadn't shown up so, I texted to see if he was close - no answer. I tried calling and texting several times but, my texts and calls went unanswered. Meanwhile, there were a dozen kids at the party who were promised a bounce house and who were very disappointed. This company's bad planning reflected very poorly on, not only them but, me and, I cannot recommend their services.
