Folks have to work, you know! Luckily, Alternative Fitness Pilates has that covered. The prices are very fair, if not less expensive, in comparison to other studios in the area. Right now, they have a special with 50% off the first class for new members. The staff and the other people who go here are super friendly and helpful. Myself I've always been active in one way or another in my life (background in dance, kickboxing, biking, blading, Zumba instructor, etc.) so I am quite picky when it comes to getting a workout of any kind. Melissa is just about the greatest owner/teacher I could have ever met. They have so many classes to choose from! They offer so many different mat classes & apparatus classes (Pilates machines). Personally haven't tried the apparatus ones yet, maybe later this year. I also enjoy that you have to sign up online to purchase classes and to sign up for them. Only a certain number of people per class so they don't let them get out of control with people due to the space. THANK YOU!!!! This is my place. It keeps me feeling good (even if I wake up & don't feel like going. I feel like a million bucks the rest of the day) and I always look forward to the next class.

He helps me push past my limits and realize that I am capable of much more. He is a well rounded, experienced, and educated trainer. Working out has been a part of my weekly routine since I was in my 20s, and I've done a few types of routines, including high intensity kickboxing, interval training, and yoga. When I injured my shoulder after two years of kickboxing, I knew I had to make a change. Exercise Coach's format is surprisingly effective. You really don't have to sweat buckets to achieve your goals! Strength training has helped me tremendously, and I've seen a dramatic change in my body as a result. When I started at Exercise Coach in Sept 2020, I wanted to lose weight. With a change in my diet (i.e., eating better, and most importantly, eating smaller portions)--combined with strength training at Exercise Coach--I dropped 45 pounds in 10 months, and have kept it off after all this time. The environment is also fun, with clients chatting together during the workout. It makes the 20 minutes go by very quickly! They are a bit expensive (especially compared to the Rec Center), but I wouldn't go anywhere else.
