I've been looking for a change since quitting my last gym and wanted something that would target my whole body for a whole class instead of only 20 minutes at other gyms. Everyone was friendly from the staff, owner, and even others attending the class. They took the time out to explain everything to me in detail, the process, what to look for, and the heart rate monitors you wear during the class. The class itself consisted of 6 stations, rowers, bench, weights, and cycles, and you do different kinds of workouts in each station for about 2 min and then switch to a different station. It felt awesome, and I felt like I was able to target every muscle I wanted to in just this one class. I took advantage of their black Friday deals and will def be returning to get my workouts. If you are looking around for different workout options, I def. Recommend scheduling your free intro class here and see what it's all about. This is their only location. They do have a parking deck, but the ticket can be validated. Also, some street parking if you're lucky enough to snag a spot.

The studio and equipment are top-notch, parking is free (validated garage parking), and they have showers! As far as the workout goes, I would say its a hybrid between F45 and Orange Theory. It's a circuit style workout, every workout is different, and the workout could include anything from battle ropes, slam balls, body weight exercises, assault bike, rower, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull ups, etc. Overall, it's a high-cardio class that incorporates strength training. Similar to Orange Theory, the class uses heart rate monitors (not required, but strongly encouraged). The goal of the class is to get "20 points," or 20 minutes at more than 70% of your max heart rate. If the above is the kind of workout you're looking for, then I recommend Volofit.

(Yeah right! Lol) Overall- such a GREAT workout, experience and Emily breeze is so awesome!!! The only thing that kept me from quitting..well two things kept me from quitting. Knowing that summer is coming and my booty isn't where it needs to be and sheer will power to just keep going. I almost quit. Like literally said to myself "I can't do this...I so can't do this". And I heard the small inner former athlete say "yes.you.can" so I took another step...one more push up...one more lunge...one more squat. It's a brutal workout. I think we did (well I did because I couldn't do them all) at least 200 squats. I'm sure others did more. I think about 50 or more (I dunno I think I blacked out after a while) push ups, so many sprints, a bear crawl, back pedals, omg...my body was quivering. My mental state was shot....until something clicked and I remembered "yes I can". Sure I didn't do 20 squats at each cone, but I tried to do 15. I just kept moving. Never standing and never cheating myself out of the movement. I push well past my comfort zone. Along with about 200 people. It's a good mix of fitness levels and a great sense of community. I met some great people. Strangers were encouraging each other. The group clapped for those who were coming in last to encourage them. Amazing. By the time we got to the burpee plank series I was spent. I'm glad that was last. The ONLY reason why I'm kicking off a star is because at the end a big muscle guy kick my foot while I was in a modified plank hold (my knees were on the ground and I would alternate left and then right knee) and said "is that your plank?" I said "yes. You don't know my story. You try having stomach surgery" and he walked off. What I SHOULD have said was "is that your face? Oh it is? Then yes. This is my plank" That made me mad and confirmed why I don't xfit. I was judged by my plank and he kicked my foot. So for that, I kick off a star. At least my plank will get better...your face?? *shrugs shoulders* I'm going to go back. I am so happy that I didn't quit. It's challenging and it will help push me past my level of comfort!!!

When I saw that it was co-led by THE Randy Moss, I knew we had to go, being a huge Patriots fan. Since we have been traveling around the US, we have really only been running and getting SOME body weight work in. This class whooped our asses haha! For a class size of about 200 people, it was very well organized! Everyone got a great workout, I felt like I could go ROUGHLY at my own pace, and everyone was very encouraging. I'd like to say that it is an all-levels class, but it really isn't. You would probably be better off with some athletic background or at least average/above average fitness level to keep up. I was clear that I didn't want to be locked into a contract, so they suggested a month-to-month option, but it ended up costing over $200 a month. They were also constantly trying to upsell me on add-ons like red light therapy, pushing yet another membership even after I had already signed up. It felt excessive and uncomfortable. When I later decided to cancel, I was told I needed to give a 30-day notice, which was never mentioned when I signed up. The way it was communicated felt dismissive, basically telling me I would definitely be charged for another month. It feels like they treat your card like it's theirs to charge whenever they want. The atmosphere also changed completely after I became a member. Before joining, they were attentive and friendly, but that disappeared once I signed up. It's easy to get in, but a nightmare to get out. The classes were unreliable as well. The instructor I signed up for missed a lot of sessions, sometimes resulting in weeks without classes. I was promised discounts for those missed sessions, but they never followed through. At one point, I went almost an entire month without the class because the trainer quit, yet I was still charged the full amount. On top of that, I was offered a $50 discount that never showed up. Instead, I was actually charged even more. When I asked about it, they said it was a billing mistake, but that doesn't change the fact that I was overcharged without my consent. The only good class was the heat/and tone and the trainer left. And you have to book a class to go and guess what if you can't go they charge you 20 dollars! EDIT: She will say she gave me a discount, after a month with no classes I never got it! Why do you think I'm upset? She also says there was not any classes only for thanksgiving? Ha what a joke, the trainer was gone for weeks after and there was not a sub once. AND this whole month, I have not been able book a class, because there are NONE. I feel bad for the people who bought a heat/tone package and never have a class to go to. This lady is lying through her teeth.

Although being a first timer, it didn't feel like I was a first timer due to the motivation from Jake and others in the class! Inside the gym, there is a seating area, a smoothie/drink bar, lockers, showers and other amenities that are available. Hustle House is located in Uptown, on South Blvd/Brooklyn Village. Parking is available on the street as well as in the garage. Can't wait to try another class!

The balance here is that there are always two dedicated staffers available to ask questions and help you feel more comfortable with the movements. The instructors also monitor the room to fix your form. I do wish they would spend a little more time at the beginning of the class go over the agenda for the day, but again, you can always ask for one on one assistance as needed. They use A LOT of equipment which makes it fun. In one class we used 9 different pieces of equipment. Again, this can be intimidating at first, but switching it up really makes the class go by quickly. The gym is new and really clean, the women's bathroom is stocked with any supply you could need to be more comfortable during and after your workout such as dry shampoo, hair ties, deodorant etc. There is free parking in a garage attached to the building which is great in the uptown area! Highly recommend checking it out!

I highly recommend! I met the General Manager Tina and she gave me a tour before my workout showing me the different rooms, workout areas, and educating me on how everything works. She was really helpful and informative with the whole experience. They have multiple saunas that have video training classes done with actual trainers. There was a HIIT sauna, rowing machine class, and yoga. I chose to do the hot yoga and did the max temp of 130 degrees. It was one of the best workouts I've had in a while! I typically weight train at a gym in Noda, but I'll be signing up soon so I can add these workouts to switch it up & have variety in my training. If you go, ask for Tina!

Today, we had a different instructor whose class isn't my most favorite, but they were in this time-slot and I had plans later. Anyway, throughout class, there were 2 very chatty and loud ladies. They spent majority of the class loudly talking OVER the already loud music & they literally stood at the bags having a full blown convo and even playing on each other's bags. Now, my normal instructor, whose class I love, has told people to be quiet in the past because this is a class and we want to workout and be around good energy and motivation. It's just a distraction! Now, the part that's a bit upsetting is the customer service. I didn't express my frustration AT the studio because the chatty ladies were still in the lobby and I didn't want to put the instructor on blast. It's not like it's huge waiting area to chat. So, I left out and called... 4 times. They don't typically answer bc they suggest you text them and they list the number to text in the voicemail recording. However, they listed one number and then when they repeated it, they said a different number in the beginning which obviously was a mix up. No biggie, I text both numbers. After a second text, I got a response and asked for a manager call. I spoke with a man and I said, "hey I just want to leave feedback about class this morning and I didn't want to do it at the studio because I didn't want to embarrass anyone." He says, "ok" so I keep going and I mentioned how the ladies were very distracting and playing around. I mentioned that he could check the cameras to verify the playing around and I said the Instructor didn't address it which they usually do (my normal person). ALL HE SAID WAS, "ok thanks for the feedback." I was waiting a moment for more but there wasn't any. So I went on to say, "also the numbers on the voicemail say two different things." ALL HE SAID WAS, "ok thanks." Now, I want to mention that I am a ClassPass user. However, I have been with this studio for at least 8-9 months coming each Saturday, sometimes during the week (unless I'm out of town). I don't know if ClassPass feedback just isn't valuable, but my money is green like the rest. Customer service is important and that was very off putting. It goes a long way. A simple, "I am sorry you had a negative experience, we value your feedback, and we will be sure to check-in with the instructor so this doesn't happen again." ANYTHING would have been better than what I got. That very "whatever" response is poor customer service to me. A little apology also goes a long way. And on top of that, I held the rest of my feedback because he wasn't interested in the little I had given. but class was wonky. One thing was displayed but then we were told to do another. Or one thing was said and then forgot to put on the screen. Too many mess ups throwing me off. And the instructor didn't "work the room." Idk I'm used to the instructor going around, encouraging us, challenging us, and by walking around, that would have addressed the chatty pattys in the room! Anyway, I truly hope this doesn't happen again and I hope I can book with my normal instructors going forward.

This is one of the most beautiful parks I've had the pleasure of visiting. There are beautiful views, playgrounds and lawn space for children's play, plenty of parking, trails for walking/bike riding, several bridges, and large trees to compliment the fields. The park is well-kept as everyone here ensures cleanliness and top maintenance. As my dad and I sat down on the bench and soaked in our surroundings, we observed a plethora of activity which included some people flying drones, kids competing in the playground's obstacle course, elderly folks walking, dogs running amok, people racing toy cars, and a few people cycling. The positive energy and vibes were radiant. I'm glad we stopped by here. Definitely worth a visit in Charlotte!

If the group ahead of you doesn't enter their score, the game stalls unless someone from the next group inputs it or a staff member comes over. We had to figure that out on our own. On my previous visits the staff explained how the scoring worked, but that didn't happen this time. Three groups ahead of mine didn't know how to enter their scores or forgot, so they just stopped playing. I also think the reservations could be spaced out better. Groups ended up stacked on top of each other waiting for the same hole. Thankfully, everyone was still pleasant about it. I'd definitely go back, but I hope they make a few operational improvements.

I was so scared at my first lesson, but pushed through my fear and I'm so happy I did. Jeanne is a patient and thoughtful instructor and she has a clear connection with the horses. She also wanted to understand my goals and matched me with the right horse. Lastly, I feel completely safe on and around the horses and my favorite part of the lesson is grooming the horse afterwards. Her farm is also a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, but so close - 15 minutes from Uptown. On the days when I have lessons, all the stress of the day melts away as soon as I hit the gravel driveway. If you're looking for lessons for yourself or your kids, I highly recommend Charlotte Equestrian Club.

I bought tickets before we even had a hotel booked! We arrived the day of with our dragon in hand (that came with our copy of Dragons Love Tacos 2) and my toddler son decked out in his dragon sweat suit. We were ready! Our show was on a Saturday at 3pm. If you arrived at 2pm there was a free behind the scenes tour of the theater. We of course took full advantage! 2pm we were squished with many of the other patrons all ready for the free tour. We were greeted and then moved into the theater. It seamed like over half the audience that day showed up for the tour! This made it difficult to move as a group through the backstage and hear everything being said. Was it cool to see where they make the sets and store the props? Yes! It was great feature I am thankful they offered but maybe needs more organizing for large groups. Another little tip for their tour guides, don't tell us what we cant see (costume area) because of the large group. Just bummed me out (and if it wasn't said I wouldn't have thought we missed out!) Also it was posed before the show arts and crafts available. Once the tour ended we were asking around about the crafts. we saw people with crafts. People had no idea! More organization needed as the crafts were taking place inside the library! We showed up with only a few minutes to do crafts because we wasted time asking people about the crafts! The show... not totally like the book but close. My 10 year old thought it was a little too young for her and my 1 year old was quiet for the whole hour! The 4 year old with us, he was mesmerized! So I would suggest when they say children's, aim for kids under 8 here. The production was pretty good with great visuals and a great destruction scene! This is not low budget by any means. Cool thing they did, after the show they let people stay behind and showed how the crew talks to one another on their headsets to make the action happen on stage! (This was geared more toward a 10 year old as opposed to a 4 year old understand what was really happening.) What could have been better? Let people enjoy the show more. The staff working in the audience were intense. I was approached by a kid, like 12 years old, who told me I couldn't give my 1 year old his bottle and the other two kids had to put away their candy. At no point at the beginning of the show was an announcement made about food/drinks in the auditorium. I am a rule follower. I would oblige. But not letting my 1 year old get his bottle seams a lot ridiculous! I kept watching the ushers go up to many other patrons about use of cell phones and everything else. It was distracting. Calm down folks. We came for the dragons. Speaking of which, I told my daughter when we bought the tickets: I don't know how they will make dragons appear on stage so it could be amazing or terrible but either way we will never forget what we will see. Truth: we will never forget. (The Dads wholeheartedly agree!)
