They no longer offer day passes and have upped the price of swim lessons $15 in under a years time. The membership fee per month is outrageous for what little they provide. It is an older rec center with nowhere near the activity offerings of one's like longview in Spring Hill. Didn't think a Williamson county rec center would ever offer better pricing and experience but here we are. They are charging comparable prices but not providing comparable quality. It seems they have switched ownership or management and someone doesn't know what they're doing. Noticeable change in quality, organization and service. Multiple times over the summer I was charge twice or told I didn't pay when I produced a receipt. Had several times we made reservations just to be told we didn't. Our swim instructor is amazing, too bad they price their own community out. Would not recommend until they literally clean up, upgrade equipment and serve the community rather than their bank accounts trying to give as little as possible for the dollar spent.

I'll speak on this place more, but first I need to backtrack a bit. I mentioned in my first sentence of this review that the place is cool. Let me define this as the "vibe" is cool. The building is anything but. It can get warm inside. But this all adds to the ambiance of the archetypal gritty gym where one would expect to see Rocky sparring in the ring. There is a huge fan cooling the patrons, and to be honest, it ain't very gritty. The insides are well kept and the bags, ring, ropes, and treadmills are very well maintained. I like how the 1930s building is kind of tucked away on a backwater street. Sidewalk cracked and crumbling a bit. Reminiscent of a scene from the movie The Last Picture Show. I highly recommend that you poke your head inside, bob and weave to the desk, and ask how you can become part of the happenings. When I visited, I saw boxers of all ages. Young Boys, women, and grown men. Only the spectators remained inactive. Myself included. I can sit with the best of them. Quick Tip: If your significant other isn't interested in participating, or being a spectator, they can go next door to the vintage shop and dig through what's in there. Instead of watching "boxing", they can "unbox" finds secreted away within those walls.

I have gained and lost many pounds only to ultimately fail and return to being morbidly obese. Luckily i met Melony's husband who introduced me to her and I finally decided to take the plunge and hire a personal trainer/nutritional consultant. During our first meeting Melony took the time to understand where I am regarding my fitness/nutrition level and clearly explained what steps I needed to take to lose weight and get healthy. I appreciated her nutritional/fitness counseling and it has continued over the last five weeks. She is very easy to talk to and has a clear understanding of the difficulties of losing weight and what it takes to get healthy. What I needed was a fitness coach who cares and Melony does. I also like how she helps me feel accountable, there's something about hiring someone at the beginning of your journey and knowing you are going to weigh in weekly with them watching and "the scale don't lie". Since our first meeting we have met on average twice a week and she reviews my fitness app and we discuss what I am eating and what other fitness activities I am doing to help me reach my goal. Then we workout together. I appreciate the different exercises we do that not only improve my strength but help me with my agility. I can feel myself getting stronger and though I have a long way to go I'm glad I took the first step. In summary, I strongly recommend you choose Melony as your personal trainer and nutritionist. If your like me and have struggled with your weight and fitness, do yourself a favor and get the help you need. This is no amusement park ride. These are real racing go-karts with top speeds on a serpentine 1/2…read moremile road course. Top speeds of up to 50 mph on the main straight are possible. A veteran of several up level racing experiences, I was very pleased with the quality of the carts, the quality of the facility, emphasis on safety and courteous staff. My top level experience to date has been the Indy101 experience where I drove a naturally aspirated Indy car at 166 mph. Short tracks l like this with quality karts enable you to develop genuine racing skills and techniques. In fact, on my recent visit there, one of the divers is an aspiring professional driver. He comes often, is known by the staff and is working on improving lap times. I learned a great deal as he passed me and I could follow him to learn his lines and braking technique. Costs are reasonable for the experience. If you are semi-serious about racing or just want to up the thrills from amusement parks, this is the place for you.
