Beautiful mature Monterey Pine, oak, eucalyptus, cypress trees, chaparral wilderness. Course layout is perfect. No houses on course!:) No throw away holes. No ugly holes. Each hole is challenging and fun to play. Greens are challenging. Course and greens are in good shape. Hole 17 is especially beautiful. Bring extra balls. If a ball goes into the wilderness area, don't try to retrieve it. There are steep slopes and poison oak. On course restroom locations are well placed. Pro shop personnel and starter were polite and helpful. 2 Stars: Tee boxes are pretty chewed up, needing some serious TLC. On course restrooms could be cleaner. 1 star: Golf carts are older, no GPS, ours barely made it 18 holes. Braking system is severely herky jerky and prone to rolling if brake is not perfectly set. This course is so beautiful and fun and relaxing, would definitely play here again.

It's definitely a course where it's more important to be accurate vs long. There's a lot of downhills and uphill lies that you'll have to hit from so it definitely presents a challenge for all skills levels. The greens were in pretty good shape and rolled on the quicker side. Some of the bunkers could use some love but overall the course itself was a fun play. It's quite a drive for me so it's not somewhere I'd play often but it's a solid place to play in the area that doesn't break the bank. We got our tee time through a hot deal of GolfNow so we were able to get a discounted rate for a saturday tee time. Definitely was a good deal for a weekend and it included a cart. Although the course is pretty walkable so next time I'd probably use my push cart.

It's a lot like golfing at Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean. Cool animatronics and cannons etc. Some of the holes are very short (hey it is indoors) which makes it good for kids. Course is in good condition. Staff was fine - dude handed us clubs and balls. Kinda sucks they don't take cash but that won't stop me from returning

My buddy brought me here, as it is supposed to be one of the best courses out there. I thought it was solid, but maybe I'm just spoiled with our local SD courses. There is a little sport shop where you can pick up some necessities, which was nice. Bring cash so you can pay the parking donation. Fun times are ahead, enjoy!

Getting to DeLa was a bit of a winding course through Santa Cruz mountains and you pass through the local golf course first. However, once you get into the wooded area, it sinks in how massive this place really is. Driving toward the parking lot we really saw how technical and complicated this course was. An important thing to note is that this course really isn't designed for the novice and that there are certain rules to follow. We were playing with monthly so we came in between tee times and we're required to let this on a tee time play through. This wasn't a big deal and it was really awesome just to experience this place. The parking lot is pretty small and I believe patience is important out here.

I came to the sports club as a guest at the resort to keep up on my swimming routine. I had…read morepreviously been to the sports club a little over a year ago with no issue, however since then apparently they have instituted a swimming pool lane reservation policy. This is nowhere on their website or communicated at the resort -- only upon arrival did I learn that just one lane is available for drop in, and there were already 4 people in that lane. To her credit, the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful, offering to make me a reservation for a few hours later in the afternoon (at a time I wasn't available) or for the one remaining slot the next day (also at a time I had other plans). I don't know how early you have to make reservations for swimming in the pool before it's all filled up, and I'm sympathetic to their efforts to clearly manage high demand, but it is still disappointing to know that the pool is, for all intents and purposes, inaccessible due to maximum capacity.
