We decided to leave. We seen August #0-51 and asked him is there  anyway  to get a wheelchair? He got on the radio and requested a wheelchair. I have a bad back so it's difficult for me to help my husband. Downside is parking in Downtown San Jose. It's free on weekends but you do need to hunt around for a spot. Not a lot to do with kids after either although you can check out My Milkshake that's up on 2nd St. Tip: even though the address says 2nd street, the entrance to the place is on 1st street. That can be very confusing! Google Maps walking mode will get you to the right place.

It's been many many years since I've had food here, but I did always love getting a slurpee when I was younger. There are two 18-hole courses, golfing one costs $18, but you can add the second or replay the same one on the same day for just $6 extra. We had planned on doing just one round on our most recent visit, but it wasn't too crowded and went by pretty quickly, so we ended up playing the other side too. I'm partial to the course that's closer to Blossom Hill road because it's a little more difficult with the water trap holes, but both sides are fun!

Said I just need to go to corporate . She had the audacity to even say that " just buy purchasing a water slide ticket it doesn't mean all the water slides need to be on ". Seriously ? There are 3 slides . If 2 are off am I still paying $30?? Unbelievable. I understand if the business if giving high schoolers/ college students an opportunity to work - but this is scammy business . If you went to an Airbnb and a pool / hot tub wasn't working - you would get a refund . I should get a refund if after buying a water slide ticket , 1 water slide isn't even working .

It kept giving me an error code but luckily I didn't need cash you're able to purchase tickets from the kiosk. Overall a cool experience and must see when coming to the boardwalk. Even if you just browse and check it out it's worth the visit. I enjoyed a round of air hockey was able to purchase a margarita while the kids played. Good times for sure.

I came here for a family fun game of mini golf on a Saturday afternoon. There were 5 of us…read moreplaying. Price is $18.50 for ages 12+ or $17.50 for 4 - 11 or seniors 62+. You can save by buying online via their website for as cheap as $10 on Wednesdays. Price varies on the day of the week. Weekends are $18.00 via online. There's a ball vending machine which allows you to select which of 6 color balls to play. For us two of the colors was not available. so we weren't able to get 5 different colors for each player. If two people uses the same color ball, that means you need to pay attention where the ball lands to avoid mix-up. Plenty of parking. There are 2 courses to pick from. To maximize your score, check out each hole before you play to review where the hole is and what obstacle you need to avoid. The starting point usually has 3 or 4 holes on a black rubber mat for you to set your ball. A few of the holes had worn out starting point holes. It can get busy on a weekend which means having to wait for the group ahead of you before proceeding.. Our family had fun.

I won't reveal their names because by doing that - I know they would lose their jobs. And in this economy, losing jobs at Golfland means the outcomes would be really bad. My point is - as long as you are doing something extremely simple: don't need to engage in any communication or coordination with the Golfland staff (and their HQ's people), it is not a bad place to spend an afternoon with kiddos.

Danielle booked my last minute stay and assisted me in choosing crunch time as my add on. She also was one of the staff that brought an opossum around for our evening visit. An opossum is a common animal but I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the brief encounter. The evening was beautiful sitting on the porch listening to the animals. ( bring ear plugs if nighttime sounds disturb you) The extremely comfortable bed had a heating pad to perfectly warm the chilly evening. The stay includes a wonderful continental breakfast, a feeding of the camels, and entrance into the small but very well cared for zoo. I look forward to returning already!

I called to get info about wait times (I understand that they can't give me an exact estimate so I told them give me worse case scenario) and I was advised that the group of 7 could have some long wait times so we opted to just come up with 3 of us. Upon arrival, place was dead other than 2-3 staff members within sight. We asked the individual behind the counter some basic questions being first timers at that location, we ended up purchasing 2 races and we received 1 for free because it was Tuesday and that was just a deal they had. After they took our money they said "well it could be about 30 minutes until you all race" which we responded saying that it's totally fine we will hangout thank you. Well since we had 30 minutes to kill why not buy some arcade credits and mess around (very mediocre arcade at best). After we purchased arcade credits, about 15 minutes went buy another employee came up to us to let us know that if we wanted to race we would have to wait till about 4:45-5pm because a group rented out the facility and there's just nothing they can do. Keep in mind when we purchased our races, 2:23pm to be exact, we got told 30 minutes. Somehow between multiple phone calls to confirm before the long drive and the day of upon arrival purchasing our races not a single individual let us know about this possible booking. ALSO no we did not show up before this group event, they were already there. Which in their defense the employee giving us a refund said "well we are not allowed to tell people about bookings". Great totally understandable I run a business my self and I understand private information etc. however the lying of race times, letting us wait for a bit and following up with "if you don't take the refund we will give you 2 extra races" well thanks but I find it hard to believe we got the full reasoning behind the situation... also to add more context, no we weren't those customers causing issues, being overly loud, or causing any sort of issues. Civilized beings and in return got a pretty S*** end of the stick. K1 speed its self is great but this location is ran by some individuals that have zero interest in making the experience rememberable. K1s slogan "Arrive and Drive" they have printed on their business cards left out crucial information. Arrive and drive past. Keep your money and spend it with a business that will give you the proper attention. Not asking to be treated like royalty. Just some common decency.
