Dr. Wolfe, for reasons I'll likely never know, nearly cost me my life. He prescribed medications…read moreand failed to warn me about other OTC medication and food interactions. When I confronted him about that, after a team of ER doctors spent hours on me and I had a six day stay in ICU, he said I should have googled the medication. So I did. And I learned that he was to have been conducting quarterly blood tests. He never did a single blood test. That was the most dramatic and life-threatening of his errors or misses in my care, but there are others. Fortunately, I started relying heavily on specialists and they caught most of the things that Dr. Wolfe should have been doing, catching, and acting on. I would not trust him or any Practicioner at One Medical with my health. They seem too focused on attracting new members and securing insurance reimbursements, in my opinion, to have the bandwidth to adequately care for the needs of their existing patients.

First let me say - I am and "experienced" patient (17 major surgeries and many other tests and…read morebiopsies over the past 20 years), so I'm really tired and VERY skeptical of doctors and the medical profession in general. I recently switched from 15 years with Kaiser, back to Blue Cross, so I had to replace about 10 docs and thank goodness for Dr. Wolfe! I met him last week for the first time and I was SO impressed. He's very knowledgeable, he's not intimidated by my questions (or all the "stuff" going on with me), he's open minded, he was a pain doc for 6 years (so he gets THAT part of my treatment) and overall, he's a very likable guy - I can't recommend him more highly (keeping my fingers crossed that I'm not putting him on a "too soon" pedestal - but I don't think so). The ONLY downsides are the whole "Med One" $200 annual fee for "special" things that really, all docs are offering now-a-days, and the fact that Med One isn't on either of the 2 main electronic medical systems in my area (UCSF and Sutter), so I have to make sure they get all my labs and doc notes from EVERY other doc....which in my personal case, is a big PITA. That being said, I really feel like I have a good doc now who can be the leader of my team and really help coordinate all my issues - before, it was only me, bringing things to docs and trying to figure it out on my own, so YEA!!!!

I am…read moregoing to admit...I am not easy on doctors! :) I come from a medical family and tend to be a med geek and know-it-all :) I love Dr Paz. Before becoming her patient, I saw 2 different doctors for my yearly physicals and didn't last a year with either of them. I have seen Dr Paz 3 times this year, so feel I have a good sense of her practice. I first saw her for my physical and she referred me to some specialists for some serious bone/nerve issues which were going on. I continue to see her/communicate with her often for help with pain management. What I like about Dr Paz is: She does not seem to have a set agenda, she listens to you and makes decisions based on what you are saying. I have agreed with every one of her ideas or strategies to help me feel better. She is professional, yet very caring and nurturing. She is always ready on time or within 15 minutes of my appt time. She takes care of things AMAZINGLY quickly, whether it is a question called in by phone or a refill call in to the pharmacy. About the Office: Receptionists always smiling and efficient. They offer a cash discount for patients without insurance. The woman who does the check out (I wish I had her name)..she helps with referrals as you leave. She is great! She helped me find an affordable place for ultrasound screening..a huge help.

My husband has complicated medical conditions and she is great at dealing with the other medical doctors and overseeing my husbands care. Only bad part was when she went on maternity leave...but she is back now...yah! The Prima group she is with in Terra Linda is professional and do their jobs well in every way...timely appt's, good follow up, return calls. Five stars to them also

I lived a very active lifestyle and then about eight or nine years ago I started feeling terrible…read more All of my joints were swollen I had no energy , terrible fatigue. I went to a doctor after doctor and nobody would resolve it. Doctors kept telling me that I was a mother that's why I was tired or I need a physical therapy or I need allergy medicine. My quality-of-life was hugely diminished and I couldn't participate in many of the activities I always loved and I would look at people jealously that were skiing and snowboarding like I used to do or mountain biking. During COVID-19 lockdown I found a book called the new music cure and I found out about Dr. Blake so I called her up. Over the course of a year she gave me my life back. Instead of traditional medicine where they look at one pill and give you one pill for that situation she looks at the whole body and realized I probably was suffering from Lyme disease. I did not believe her but it turns out I had it. I don't want to spend too much time in the review going into all the details but I will tell you that you can trust Dr. Blake to take good care of you and to bring your health back. I cannot Article express my gratitude. Also she's just so easy to be around. Dr. Blake is calm , understanding, empathetic, knowledgeable and so fun to talk with while resolving issues that other doctors overlook and often don't understand. I can workout again. I've lost 25 pounds. I feel so much better and I know I've done right by my body.
