Info on how caloric restriction will lead to weight loss (not a gimmick). I can understand how people need these gimmicks to trick themselves into losing weight. But I cannot forgive the vendors of these gimmicks that exploit the ignorance of desperate people to take their hard earned money. They even use pseudo-science words and intermingle real science words to confuse people: saying stuff like "diode technology!" instead of just saying they use LEDs. This is not sustainable or healthy in the long run for the person seeking weight loss. The people that provide these gimmicks make the people trying to lose weight, who often bounce back up in weight after using the gimmick, feel like its their fault for bouncing back (not realizing the gimmick did nothing) which often causes depression and makes their situation worse. Proper education can serve someone struggling with weight loss best.
