Funded Today (and Jordan David for that matter) is this typical American scam company. Frankly there were red flags from day one. Like literary in 2 months in "being in contact with them" I have solved nothing. There is little to no information on the web. They BS you with their cheap marketing slogans while they don't give a F about you and your project at all. Beyond the first email and a follow up email you don't get any reply from them, they just don't communicate. Making stupid excuses like faulty software, vacation, sickness, privacy...or whatever. Skype call confirmed and canceled 3 times by them. When you get the call, it's delayed and without any apology for being late or any heads up...hey i will be late. When you are on the phone, they want to get rid of you as soon as possible. They never ask you any questions...how can you deal with me if you have no idea about me? They lie on the phone as I found out after comparing the written email information to the phone call...I have a recording of the phone call, and I have the email so you cannot prove me wrong about this. They lie about other stuff as I found out after consultation with Indiegogo. You will find out that their limited marketing information on the web...."eee we don't do that anymore, it's an old model". I guess their whole model is to just lure as many people as possible to just sell them some stupid email newsletter for 800$ and that's it. They never plan to work with you, they never intend to proceed with all marketing strategies for you to succeed, they take you as guaranteed failure from day one, unless you are a million+ dollar company, perhaps, then they will go beyond the stupid newsletter. BUYER BEWARE - These guys leave their contract super vague and they only take wire transfers up front Here are my kickstarter Results: I was successful on Kickstarter - I did $15,600 in 30 days - 45% from family, friends, and network and 55% from outside sources. I paid $5,000 upfront to Fundedtoday ($3,500 for FB Marketing "set up costs" and $1500 for PR) and they wanted 35% on the backend... I negotiated to 23%. $1,700 came into from fundedtoday ads. For PR - we got our write up in gadget flow (no monetary results) $5,000 total investment - I lost $3,300. I put together this kickstarter campaign in 3 weeks. I did video shooting, page design, GIF creation, photography, email marketing, etc.I was swamped! I SHOULD HAVE WAITED UNTIL I LAUNCHED and saw my momentum on my own. My issues with FundedToday: Communication: All communication is in a Skype chat. This means that if anything important happens or needs to happen - YOU better see it in this Skype chat or it get's lost. I complained about PR and no one responded to it - it just got lost... PR: I requested a refund for PR because I felt mislead and the product and performance were poor. They refused to refund anything. They took $3500.22 for my campaign they very well knew the ins and outs of the product, they said they could help so we signed up, they chased out check $3500.22 and zero communication why. From A to Z working with Funded Today was the worst professional experience my team and I have ever encountered. Looking back it's actually hard to believe how poorly Funded Today operated once we hired them to help launch our Kickstarter. I won't go into every detail (or this review would get very lengthy), but in summary the three things that stood out most were the following: 1.) Lack of professionalism: no respect for deadlines, hard to get in touch with, required a TON of hand holding. Some of the staff were even rude at times believe it or not. 2.) Lack of effort and/or expertise: A little bit more challenging to explain, but when he hired Funded Today we expected them to apply really specialized industry know-how to our Kickstarter campaign - not even close. We literally ended up doing most of the work that we paid THEM to do. 3.) Lack of organization & transparency: As I mentioned earlier, we needed to nag them CONSTANTLY (literally every day for the duration of the campaign) for every little thing. Wether it was trying to set up a phone call, get a better insight to their decision making, or correct the mistakes they made - collaboration was a miserable experience. In terms of transparency, in retrospect their whole company just seems SKETCHY. Anyhow, please don't use this agency. Be very careful who you work with if you go this route. Funded Today scammed me for $2500 + 30% on pledges. These leaches reached out on Facebook when I was running my Kickstarter campaign. They had a nice talk, I could book a 30 minute cal immediately and they showed me previous success they worked on. In reality, after paying $2500, they brought me $25 and stopped working after 3 days. I checked for visitors from their campaign, non of it added up with what I saw in their dashboard. After checking some other negative reviews on funded today, I learned that they use bot traffic and not real ads. So basically, they steal people for $2500, buy some cheap fake traffic somewhere and tell you after 3 days that it's you, not their fault. AVOID funded today. Just check the huge amount of negative reviews. This is the biggest scam crowdfunding agency! Horrible horrible experience. read more

Save yourself the headache, it's like working with a group of teenage boys. For a client services company I had a very poor experience with these guys. I also run a small design shop and understand the value of ensuring your end client is happy but that seems to be pretty overlooked by Funded Today. They require you be involved in their Skype chats and jump between people without clear email updates and refuse to hop on a call to discuss your project. I was underwhelmed by all aspects of their design, yes they have contacts and email addresses, but that's about it. It's a huge chunk of your campaign to give away for the strategic value they bring. Lots of the things they did felt 'spammy' and at the end they wouldn't share any of the valuable insights that would help our business moving forward. They like to take your project data and keep that for themselves despite charging a huge fee for their services. Wouldn't recommend them for a Kickstarter partner (i've also heard this from clients who I've helped on the design side), better to take your money elsewhere! read more

Do not waste your time with this agency! At the advice of this agency, we canceled our project on Indiegogo to relaunch it on Kickstarter. They promised better conversion rates, more money to be made, etc. The ads they run are only "click baits" that drive traffic to your campaign but with no real buyers, they do not share to you any reports on ads, just some obscure chatting on Skype. Communication is really bad. One example is that we all agreed to launch our project on Tuesday and they totally forgot. We had to postpone our launch day. Statistically, the ads ran by FundedToday were the worst performing, with 0% conversion rates and a very low time on page. In a nutshell, we lost money by paying them 3000$ upfront for their marketing services, lost money by canceling our project and relaunch it on Kickstarter at their advice, their ads were the only one that did not convert and they do not offer any advice related to crowdfunding other than some general guidelines that you can find by googling "crowdfunding tips". My advice, do not waste time and money with FundedToday. They will promise you the sky but these are only lies. Invest the money on your ads or something else that will be productive. My personal experience with funded today was terrific! These guys know what they were doing from day one. I was skeptic about hiring a marketing agency to​ run my Kickstarter​ ​campaign. Reading all the reviews, I thought it's not worth it. So I avoided hiring them until the middle of my cam​paign​ when I realized I will not be able to meet my goal. At this point, my campaign had raised ~ 50%, and my daily pledges were declining significantly. So I thought let's give it a shot, and I hired Funded Today. These guys crushed from the day I hired. We met our goal in two days after hiring. And my daily pledges increased 3-4 folds. They not only did a great job running the campaign but also coached me along the way. STAY AWAY FROM FUNDED TODAY! I recently finished my Kickstarter campaign. It was a success but could do way better if I did not need to deal with FundedToday horrible team! As soon as I launched my campaign, I kept receiving Skype messages from Jordan, one of their team members, that they can do a great job for my campaign and provide amazing services. Jordan kept sending negative comments about Jellop and why they can't help us and why they will fail us. 14 days left to the end of the campaign, I eventually decided to have another call with him to finalize our options. I specifically informed him that we want to raise 10K everyday in these last days of the campaign. Can you do it? And his answer: "Yes, it is possible." " We have been tracking your campaign and we offer so many services that can help your campaign." "Remove Jellop."!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness, we didn't remove Jellop! I did not like that 2500 dollars upfront fee and told him that none of the marketing agencies I have been in touch with have this high rate of upfront fee! Why is that? You basically get 2500 dollars for just setting up the ads? And nothing else? When I insisted a lot that I don't agree paying that upfront fee, Jordan said "if we can't bring you 2500 dollars from our paid ads, we will reimburse the 2500 dollars to you." They didn't put that in the contract though. After 10 days, they got 2500 dollars for the upfront fee, spent 750 dollars for the testing phase of the paid ads, and you can't believe it that they brought us just $249 dollars from paid ads!!!!!!!!! I am an honest person and am giving you the full picture. They also brought 2400 dollars from cross-promotion in total. When I told them that I am very disappointed about all the promises they had given to us and asked to reimburse that 2500 dollars because their paid ads just brought us 249 dollars (their team themselves expressed disappointment and sadness about this failure) but Jordan was unprofessional enough to answer our messages with delay and switching the conversation to put the blame on us and our pricing rates! Let me highlight this again that my campaign was doing well and it was a successful campaign when they entered. We had over 500 backers with $200K raised and FundedToday team without any reasonable reason stopped communicating and sent us an invoice with the full amount!!! They have not even bother to respond why we have to pay for testing phase ($750) while their contract exactly says that the upfront fee ($2500) covers the testing phase as well. read more

They gave me credit for everything that I was doing on my own so I got to keep 100% of that. Overall it was a great experience. These guys are filthy money hungry pigs. They don't care about their clients AT ALL. I worked on a project with my friend which has yet to launch, and he did the $3500 deposit (they call this the "testing phase") but because of COVID he lost his job and is in a stressful situation with money. He asked for the refund, but of course they said no. His campaign hasn't even launched yet!! So they technically have not used the $3500 yet like I said these guys are money hungry thieves. I've also talked to one of the owners of a KS campaign that went on Shark Tank and funded today tries to attribute their "marketing power" to helping them get on ST but the owner I talked to said they would NEVER recommend them because their communication is terrible and they use archaic systems like Skype... trust your gut. Use that stupid deposit fee and learn by yourself, take the risks, and learn how to do it on your own. That's what being an entrepreneur is all about anyways right? read more
