Hard to find records and other artifacts. The staff certainly knows a lot about what they have, and will help find something. As in places like this, the music is the main thing of course. It has a lot to look through. They, as the name implies, specialize in vinyl. Great place to find more popular artists. Or more obscure. Also despite the name they also have other forms of music such as CDs. These like the records also are obsolete so might as well have these. Has a big collection of new and old items. It seems most people come in and just look around, but some people actually buy something. The main thing is the vinyl.

I partake in Magic pre-releases here. I have been coming here for a long time, actually. Back when I first got into Magic and his store was located in Creve Coeur, IL. Moving on. The Zone offers a wide variety of products. From comics, posters, figures/toys, trading cards (singles and sealed), Ultra Pro products, sleeves, and other odds/ends. I have played 3 Magic pre-releases there (so far) and the store owner, Scott, has been great at hosting it each time. He even helped me set up my DCI account right before the pre-release tournament was about to start. You can pretty much throw any random question at Scott and he will have some knowledge about it and can help you out. Overall, a great store to visit if you need your Magic/comics/toys fix. I understand any card shop needs to make a profit, but I was disappointed with the buy offers I received. In my experience, many offers were around 30 to 50 percent of what the same cards or merchandise was later listed for in the store. (I go there frequently) Especially for higher-value cards, that difference felt significant. Everyone's experience may be different, but mine left me feeling like my collection wasn't valued as fairly as I'd hoped. I sold a hand full of grail cards and consoles and knick nack related stuff to them. BUT. Because of that, I'd encourage anyone looking to sell cards or collectibles to shop around and get quotes from multiple stores before accepting an offer. Personally, I would check other shops first and only consider selling here as a last resort. I genuinely hope the shop continues to do well, but I also hope they consider making their buy list process more transparent and competitive... Shop around before coming here. That's my experience.

Vicky knows where everything is, so if you need something particular, just ask! I saw Google reviews that complained about how much fabric there was packed into the store, I found that it was tight in places, but not impossible to get around. Everything is very organized by color and type. I also found a review complaining about hate speech being played on the radio. First of all the owner listens to FOX news radio, in MY opinion that's not hate speech and that review was completely laughable!! If you're that sensitive then maybe don't go anywhere. Lastly, one review complained that the owner wouldn't allow her to bring a dog in the store. I couldn't believe someone wanted to bring a dog in a fabric store! Not one quilter or otherwise wants any dogs around their new, clean fabric! What a crazy request! Thankfully I ignored all the false negatives and went. It is now my favorite place to buy fabric! I make quilts for charities to be auctioned and the fabric has to be perfect. I also make quilts for babies and they have to be clean!
