The nursery is housed in an old farm house building and its been converted really well. Its run by an excellent team of dedicated staff and they have had really strong OFSTED reports. They will give advice and honest feedback, and are willing to go that extra mile to organise out of hours events in their own time (plays, sports days etc,.) His favourite activity was playing outside in the huge (enclosed) gardens. Other play activities included singing, reading corner, computer time, use of musical instruments, messy play, craft time and free play. The meals are freshly cooked and vary constantly, breakfast, luch and a cooked dinner are included along with all drinks and snacks. Jordan has really fond memories of Happy Tots and I would reccomend it to anyone. The age range is supposed to be 0-5 years but they were very accomodating in still letting my son attend in school holidays right up until he was 6 as this really helped me out. I am not sure what the cost is currently - but what price can you put on a safe, stimulating and loving environment for your child? It always represented good value to me. I fully intend to use this nursery again for my daughter when I do decide to venture back to the world of work..... but for now I am happy with nappies and 2 am feeds!

It's 130 pound per week. For under ones you have to supply your ownfood, milk and nappies but for 1+ all drinks, breakfast and snacks are free. They are open from 8am to 5.45pm. Lovely rooms with a great choice of activities from painting, storytime and outside play to hatching chicks, fancy dress days and spending timewith the local firemen. We are kept regularly updated on chloe's progress and she has her own keyworker. i wouldn't go anywhere else.

We send our son to this nursery and I can't recommend it more thoroughly than that! It was opened…read morein October of 2011 and it's a really, really great place. It's run by a couple and was formerly a family home but has been converted by the husband, who was previously a builder, to a really high standard. There are lots of lovely touches throughout the nursery, including a wooden play shop built into one of the rooms. He's now the chef and prepares all the children's meals fresh each day and the food always smells great. My son eats 2 portions most days! There are two rooms. One for the tiny kids - up to about 2 years of age, and another for those of preschool age. Our son has just moved to the 'bigger kids' side and they have managed the progression really well. He is really happy there and has come along leaps and bounds in terms of his confidence and speech since he started attending. Outside there is a lovely garden for the kids to play in, and it also has a covered area so they can still get fresh air when the weather is bad. There is a little vegetable garden that the kids help out on. The staff are brilliant and really make each day special for the kids. They do activities related to what is happening in the 'real world', so things such as Easter, Diwali, Mothers Day, etc, are all observed and catered for. We couldn't be happier with the place and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it with 5 stars.

Quite the most amazing church building I have ever come across…read more The outside of the church looks fairly traditional, and you make your way towards the door expecting the usual sort of thing inside -- pews, a stained glass window or two, perhaps a bit of heating if you're fortunate. Instead what greets you simply takes your breath away. The church has been refurbished to an astonishing standard: the floor has been completely replaced (and there is now under-floor heating); the pews have gone to be replaced by chairs; a tower has been transformed to provide some interesting smaller rooms spread over several levels; and the craft on display is incredibly beautiful. The stained glass in general and the water feature in the baptistry area in particular are worthy of special mention, but there's clearly been a lot of thought gone into every detail of the refurbishment. Ladywood ARC (Arts, Religion and Community) now use the building a lot alongside the parish congregation. I don't know too much about this group (or the congregation themselves) but the space and facilities they have at their disposal are an absolutely amazing example of what can be done with a church building nowadays.
