Regardless of whether you have adventurous eaters in your family or traditional eaters, everyone will find something that they love. I had a friend in town who wanted to meet up with us, so of course I suggested Lupita's. We went in with three small children one teenager and two adults. The smallest of the crew all got one scoop of ice cream and the teenager got a fruit cup (which is topped with chamoy, lime and tajin). The adults had a milkshake and a fruit pop. The fruit pops are made in house from fresh fruit. Everyone enjoyed their treat. Inside Lupitas are three small tables that each have two stools. Most people come in in order to go. This day, however, we decided to dine in to catch up with our friend. It's a small space, but comfortable. One of the cool things about Lupitas is that they have Mexican snacks and candies for sale. Before leaving, I decided to try a Nugs candy bar. From the rapper, I assumed that it was similar to a Snickers bar. I didn't eat it until a couple of days later, but the taste is very different from Snickers. I think it may be because Snickers has milk chocolate in this may have more dark chocolate involved, plus I do not believe the Nugs has nougat. I still prefer a Snickers, but that's probably because my pallet is trained that way. Long story short: Lupita's is a 10 out of 10 experience. I fully recommend it.

I found this one a little out of my way but the reviews looked very promising, and I was excited to try it. I walked in and the baker was in the back I could see through the kitchen doorway. She looked up and saw me. I waited for a very long time with absolutely no acknowledgement. I understand being a small business you are wearing all of the hats and might be very busy and can't serve every single customer the very second they walk in the door, but at that point you say "hello" at least and let the customer know you'll be there shortly... or some thing. I got nothing. It was end of day and they were getting ready to close I'm sure. I saw 3 maybe 4 cupcakes left in the window. Even if that is really all there was left, I would've bought every one she had left and I'm a good tipper. Also, I strongly support small business especially if this is a woman owned business.... But no. I got completely ignored. There was a police presence in there too and they were staring at their phone. They saw me and then went back to staring at their phone. After asking her if she was going to clean the tray off she simply said, " why are you allergic or something?" I said no but then she rebutted "Your not going to be able to taste it so that's why I didn't clean it". After asking her to remake it she told the other server and said here you remake it I'm not remaking it. The other lady stepped in and remade it on a clean tray no problem, but the 1st lady was arguing with me when the tray clearly had another flavor still leftover from her previous roll. Our new server had immediately wiped off her tray without begin asked after making my order. So it was disheartening that our 1st server didn't wipe ours off.
