My sister told me about this spot having good rolled ice cream. After my work shift, I decided to give this place a try. You have the option to try regular ice cream or soy non diary ice cream. Since I don't normally eat ice cream & knew my stomach can be sensitive I tried the non dairy option. It was okay but I would suggest getting the diary option. The soy non diary option was cool but it kinda had a slight aftertaste & the texture was different. The flavor I got was cookies and cream & it was okay. You can add toppings & I got cream and vanilla wafers which didn't taste like Nilla wafers and didn't compliment the ice cream so I took them off. So the grands wanted ice cream, and so did I! We walked to Sweet Charlie's and was greeted by the person I assumed was the manager/owner. Alone and completing someone else's order, the kindness that was extended to us was so heartfelt. We ordered the strawberry ice cream topped with teddy grahams (a nod to their mom's favorite snack from the 90s) for the princesses, and my favorite guy ordered cookies and cream. I ordered the So cal which had coconut, banana, açaí, and blueberries. Everyone enjoyed their treats and wanted to hang out for a bit. When we got ready to leave, the toddler shouted, "I love you!" Upon entering we were promptly greeted by Nick (store owner,) and he walked us through the menu and made suggestions per our preferences. My husband ordered Namaste ice cream with a donut, and I ordered Namaste vegan in a cup. Anytime I dine out I look for superb customer service, quality ingredients, and a unique dining experience Sweet Charlie's exceptionally delivered all three categories. The overall atmosphere is extremely family friendly, if you have a chance to get there early in the week they offer a waffle option (I'm certain that pairs really well with the ice cream.) We will definitely return and possibly use for birthday parties as they offer catering service. I was pleasantly surprised that they had vegan ice cream! One thing I've missed about being dairy free is tasty ice cream, and this one hit the mark. My friend and I looked around for a place in Henry county that was open late and we stumbled upon Sweet Charlie's around 8pm. It was empty at that time so there were no wait lines and we had ample to time to make up our minds. The servers were super helpful, I got the mini cup with the vegan base and cookies and cream mixed in and on top. It was a nice little spot to hang out and catch up. She began to mix up and spread out my roll; once the roll was fully spread out she wasn't strong enough to make a complete roll without breaking and crumbling up my rolls. The final kicker was when my girlfriend noticed the worker long braids falling in and out of my rolls multiple times. That's when I requested an immediate refund. I highly recommend to NOT come to this location. This location is super trash‼. If I could give this place no stars I would. Creative, new, and trendy concept meets Henry County, Georgia. This ice cream shop is something I've been meaning to try for sometime now. Once I discovered they opened one locally I jumped at the chance to indulge in it!! First Encounter: I first "tried" to get a yummy snack at this location weeks ago. The line was unfortunately, yet fortunately for them out he door. I waited for sometime and left. Second Encounter: Went here with my family and voila. No wait....I ordered the yogurt S'mores and the fiancé got Regular ice cream with coffee. We both really liked the concept and it tasted pretty good. Pricing wasn't too bad from what I can recall. The owner can't and spoke to us which also was very nice. I did have a little tummy ache after eating here, but I think my tolerance for dairy is twinkling that's all. This place is pretty good, reminds me of the modern version of Coldstone Creamery. Same type of thing where the ice cream is mixed and made right in front of you but here they spread it real thin on the frozen plate and then roll the ice cream. Even though the lines were long the staff was very pleasant and did there best to get everyone through the line as quickly as possible. I'd definitely go back and it's worth checking out! read more

We too were greeted by the owner Nick but it was Kyla and Jordan that were instrumental in helping us to decide. If ypur employees are treated well it flows to the customer. There is something for everyone from dairy to vegan. I chose Namaste and my daughter chose another one with Mint Chocolate and both was vegan. It was Cold Stone meets the Ice Age it was a great substitute from. the traditional ice cream dessert. We wanted something delicious and different and this place did not think. They even spelled my name out with the chocolate and caramel on my ice cream before they rolled it up. I felt like that was an awesome personal touch. As the girl was rolling my ice cream one of the rolls fell off to the side and the guy leaned over to her and said that they clean it and I could still eat it (wasn't clean and looked dirty so I passed). Luckily it's so much ice cream it wouldn't have fit in the cup anyways. You do pay $7 including any toppings you want. They are a little stingy on the toppings in my opinion but I still had a grear experience overall. When we arrived it was like a party! There was a live DJ, they were playing trivia, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was very clean and bright inside. The line moved quickly. The cashier and all of the other staff were very friendly! The cashier explained all of our options and he suggested some of their most popular flavors. I ended up choosing the Namaste which is a strawberry cheesecake flavor. In addition to the flavors you can add syrups like chocolate, caramel, or honey into your ice cream. At the end, you can choose any toppings you want to go on top. They have everything from whipped cream, fruity pebbles, graham cracker, marshamallow, strawberries, bananas, etc. Everything was really yummy!!! read more

Our experience began SO pleasantly!! A polite, knowledgeable young woman took care of us. While she was preparing our treats, a RUDE young Indian man comes through the door, tells us we cannot SIT and WAIT for our treats to be ready- had to stand- because we don't have masks on (myself, 2 young children- NO 'MASKS REQUIRED' SIGNS!!) THEN he proceeded to scold the young girl working ever so diligently BY HERSELF, mind you, for 'mixing flavors'. Ice cream is good, but not good enough for us to come back. I had 3 different flavors, unfortunately they all tasted flavorless, all you taste is the chocolate syrup. This kind of ice cream should be full of flavor and texture, but they mash all ingredients into the tiniest pieces removing any crunchy texture you'd normally enjoy in this kind of treat. Unfortunately, I will not return, I'm not going to spend $28 for 4 cups (my family and I) on bland ice cream and Hershey's syrup. I hope they make some adjustments. read more

We took my family up for ice cream. When we arrived there was two families in front of us. The first one had 2 people standing in line eating their ice cream. The second family were wearing no masks at all. Nobody said one word to either of those families. As my family waited for our order to be done, seeing the other families eating and maskless, I decided to take a bite of my ice cream. I'm giving this location 1 star because of the manager working tonight. The vegan ice cream tasted amazing but the manager was awful. There was a misunderstanding with my order. I informed the cashier that I'm vegan and I needed vegan ice cream. The cashier assured me the Santa's Cookie and Milk flavor is vegan. After my ice cream was made, I remembered to ask if the cookies used in the recipe are vegan. By this time, the manager walked out from the back area of the store and the cashier asked the manager if the cookies are vegan. He said no and I asked for another order of vegan ice cream because the one that was made was not 100% vegan. The manager argued with me that I was not going to get my money back nor have another order made even though the cashier made the mistake of not checking to make sure that my order was 100% vegan. After arguing for a few minutes, I finally received another order for free that was vegan. The manager should not have argued with me. She rushed me to pay because another customer was behind me. It's funny because her attitude completely changed when greeting the costumers behind me, she's was so welcoming to them. Most of them look like teenagers in high school. Judging by the pitcher of water they take in and out the scraper, this place is disgusting. It looks like they haven't changed out the water in days.
