We couldn't be happier with our experience with Funtime Cabinets, especially Scott and Shawn! We had a bit of a tricky project after replacing our refrigerator with a slightly larger model. The existing cabinet above it needed to be resized, and we weren't sure if the cabinet--or the doors--could even be modified without completely replacing the unit. Scott came out, assessed the situation, and took the cabinet back to the shop. He and Shawn came up with a solution that allowed them to professionally resize the existing cabinet and doors rather than having to replace everything. The craftsmanship was excellent, and they even came back and installed it for us! From the initial communication to the finished installation, everyone was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to figure out the best solution and executed it beautifully. You honestly can't tell that the cabinet was modified--it looks like it was made that way! Most people dream about what they want to do with their kitchen for months before they start the process of renovating. We always thought we would like to do something "someday" but the someday came sooner than we thought when we had water damage and had to repair quickly. We happened upon Funtime by accident when we drove by the showroom on a day it was closed. The door was unlocked as they were working on something in the back so we got a quick peak and it seriously did look "fun". Having been to several showrooms and met with a few companies that did prefab, semi custom and custom kitchens, we were excited as we felt like we finally found things that were our style but didn't want to get our hopes up before finding out whether it would be in our budget. Went back a few days later and using an initial rendering from an interior designer we decided not to work with (but paid for the rendering) Shawn was able to quickly give us an estimate and we were surprised and excited about how fair their prices were. Custom cabinetry for a price that was lower than some of the prefab (where you get to choose from cabinets that are already made but cannot make them exactly as you wish). No mysterious pulling a number out of the sky, they had software where they input measurements and prices were calculated. All very straight forward. We were on a tight time frame but they were so accommodating. Shawn really worked with us to get someone out to measure quickly and they were all super helpful not just with helping us figure out what we wanted, what worked best for the space but also just navigating the emotions of a huge project like this when you don't know what you want and are stressed. The estimate for the turn around time was reasonable and they were able to install sooner than they had quoted. Had a minor personality conflict with one of the installers (because I am a little bit of a perfectionist and can be intense) but Shawn and his entire team handled everything so professionally and made sure that we were happy. I would strongly recommend them and will definitely work with them again when we redo our master bathroom. Thank you to Tony, Scott and the entire team for all your help. Horrible attitude towards customers. They answer if you are interested in the price, then this is not for us ... I am shocked by the work of workers. I am from Russia, and what they are doing now in the USA is the last century. I have my own design project. And knowing the prices in the USA for terrible kitchen cabinets. Yes, I am interested in the price. I do not need to come to me and initially declare the amount for which I do not agree, and I will have to pay for the call. Because I asked a question about the approximate cost of 1 foot line, which I was answered. Go to Ikea or Home Depot. People with money come to us and they don't care for the the price. We had an opportunity to redo our kitchen and wasn't sure how to start. I looked online and watched home improvement shows to get ideas but it's so overwhelming. We met Shawn (the owner) approximately 6 months ago. He invited us into his showroom, and we were very impressed by his presentation. We had never seen such stunning contemporary cabinets before. Our church was looking to create a reception area in our lobby and I was asked to find a reception desk that would fit our needs. After searching through catalogs and showrooms, we finally decided that custom would be the way to go. But where do we go for that??? And how much would that cost??? It's been a couple months since we had our kitchen cabinets installed and we just love them. The cabinets are very high quality. The fit and finish is superb. Shawn helped us pick out cabinet, flooring, countertop and backsplash colors. Also suggested paint colors. Shawn has a keen eye for color in design. Everything looks amazing together. Everyone that sees the cabinets are so impressed. I love the way the doors and drawers are damped just before closing and slowly shut without making any noise. I still can't stop opening and shutting the drawers just to watch them close. Shawn's showroom has many examples of cabinets to look at. The selection of knobs and pulls is very complete. The knobs we picked out look great. The design of the cabinets utilizing the existing space in our kitchen gives us so much more storage space than we had before in the same space. Very thoughtfully laid out with no wasted space. The cabinets were done ahead of schedule. The installation went very smoothly. The cabinets are all finished in place to make sure all colors are matched perfectly. The cabinets looked great. No surprises. We are so happy with our new kitchen. So glad we chose Shawn and Funtime Cabinet Factory for our kitchen remodel project. Shawn and the whole team was great from start to finish. And the best part was the value.
