My previous groomer a lot of the time just mowed her down and she was bald and often had razor burn, as well as having spent alll day at the groomers. Pawfections takes the time to groom the dog and is careful of all the growths old Cocker Spaniel's get tend to get. The greatest thing is that the dog isn't there for 8 hours. She is washed, groomed etc and home within 2-3 hours. The groomers are a few $'s more than the previous groomer and then add on a tip but that's fine. Well worth the money. They also groom my American Cocker Spaniel who is 16yrs old and has a lot of growths on her skin. They have never knicked any of her growths and has never had any razor burn and they don't mind using vet supplied prescription shampoo I asked them to use on the dog. Awesome groomers!!! Give them a try

Pawtsmouth Grooming did a great job grooming my dog, however I didn't hear their text message announcing when he was done as I was distracted due to a work meeting. Totally my fault and I apologized profusely when I picked up my dog 1 hr late. I even provided a generous tip on top of the surcharge I was penalized with. However Jesse was inconsolable and extremely upset, and red with rage. She told my wife and I that we could no longer use their services.....not that I wanted to after that experience. My advice to others is to be aware that she is VERY short-tempered, seems to have anger issues, and there are no 2nd chances. I believe I saw another review from someone named Jesse that described a similar behavior. Whatever you do, don't be late picking up your dog no matter what the excuse.

It includes a recent stool test, vet records, and a trial day. The place also seems very clean with a really nice outdoor space that has plenty of shading. The owner was very kind and reassuring. She said my dog stuck by her side the majority of the day. My dog also seemed to really enjoy his time there and even seemed eager when he returned for a second stay.

This store is always clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of toys and treats as well as a dog bathing area that's open for self wash.
