One of the doodle is more of a poodle and I said I would understand if she needed to go shorter. I picked them up and our more poodle boy had a burn/cut on his ear flap and lots of scratches inside his ear from whatever plucking tool she used. I tried to reach out and ask what happened and was told ok I will cancel your next appointment. She is very aggressive and definitely not open to any questions. As a side note when I showed up the places was covered in dog hair and smelled of pot. She also stated she couldn't believe that pot isn't legal yet in NH. I keep her cut simple and always like how she looks when done. The time it takes to get her groom is half the time then when I took her into the shop. This is great because she's my service dog. The groomer SHAVED my dog's beautiful long hair (she's a Goldendoodle). In some parts, down to the skin. She left my dogs tail long, but shaved the base and some of her tail so it looks ridiculous. The groomer also said that when my dog moved she accidentally cut her, and just snuggling with her today she yelped in pain from me touching her stomach. This is unacceptable from a groomer. Words can not express how awful my pup looks. Not to mention the mats still in her ears!!! Will never be using this service again. Even my neighbor was appalled when she came and saw what they did.

Pawtsmouth Grooming did a great job grooming my dog, however I didn't hear their text message announcing when he was done as I was distracted due to a work meeting. Totally my fault and I apologized profusely when I picked up my dog 1 hr late. I even provided a generous tip on top of the surcharge I was penalized with. However Jesse was inconsolable and extremely upset, and red with rage. She told my wife and I that we could no longer use their services.....not that I wanted to after that experience. My advice to others is to be aware that she is VERY short-tempered, seems to have anger issues, and there are no 2nd chances. I believe I saw another review from someone named Jesse that described a similar behavior. Whatever you do, don't be late picking up your dog no matter what the excuse.

It's also very uncomfortable that they wont even let you inside the building to see where your dog is being cared for and groomed. We moved from Florida when she was 2 and she never had any issues at the groomer down there so I would not trust these people with your dog.

Apparently the Dover Cat Doctor has super powers that allow her to skip lab tests. Avoid this place.
