We commuted 4 hours from Michigan to get a dodge challenger on their lot and let Josh tell you this car was a hidden gem. We were in contact for a week with constant back and fourth proof of everything I asked for (being a car enthusiast I know what to ask for to not get the run around) and everything seemed in amazing shape no thefts no engine problems nothing and Josh seemed sincere so I didn't think to pull a car fax. COMPLETELY MY FAULT. But when I get there after a 4 hour drive this imbecile must've thought he got one over on me because as soon as I test drove it, you guessed it the engine had a knock. So I ran a car fax because if you can lie about a knock you can lie about anything right? The car was stollen (josh said it was another challenger on the lot) as well as many others. So if your in the market for a car go anywhere else and if there's no where else, walk because these people could care less what happens to you OR YOUR CAR the second you're off the lot. God bless

I sincerely hope that my review helps to get Daystar some additional business. My salesman was Mike Marshall, who is a super nice guy and great to work with. Chris the manager is fantastic and worked hard to get my financing approved with Chrysler Capital. I already finance four vehicles (three with other lenders) -- Chrysler Cap was a little shaky about me financing a fifth and wanted me to trade in a vehicle. But Chris got them to approve the financing with no trade and I am very appreciative. Service above and beyond. UPDATE (1/25/23): Picked up my new Scat Pack on my birthday, January 21st, and things went very smoothly. Chris even gave me a birthday present I did NOT expect, and it was very generous. It was a pleasure doing business with Daystar -- Chris and Mike in particular. They are all about great customer service. I highly recommend.

Worst dealership around, if i could give this place negative stars I would. They are…read moredisrespectful, lie, and mislead you just so they can make a sale. I will not list all mechanical issues i have had since day one, but will list the most troublesome issues with this dealership. On May 10th of 2025, I went in to look at a Chevy Colorado. After the trade in i was offered, i decided to go with purchasing the truck. The main thing i said when filing the paperwork, was that i needed a warranty that i could use at other dealerships due to the fact i would be living out of state for a few months for work. Was told the warranty was one i could go anywhere. After covering it, i was handed a paper and told it was a "summary" of what we covered and i needed to sign it. I will get into this later. After multiple issues with the truck since day one, i ended up having a coolant leak with the truck over heating. I took it in to get checked out. I was told by the Service Manager, that it was "normal" for a temp gauge to fluctuate and that i had no leaks. I said it was not fluctuating, it tapped out at 260 clear in the red. He still said that it was normal, and i had no leaks. A few days later, i was broke down on the side of the road with coolant spraying out the back of the engine. I called the next morning to speak with the service manager about towing my vehicle to them at their cost, and his response to me was, "Well i disagree, you did not know it was leaking either." Apparently brining it to them when it was low and overheating, was not an indication that i was aware it had a leak. the next six to seven months i rarely drove the truck due to the job i was doing. This past June, i took the truck in for another leak, this time a transmission coolant line. They "Fixed" the line and sent me home. The next day, the line blew out spilling all transmission fluid out over the engine, and i was broke down on the side of the road, and offered no help to get a tow or a loaner due to it being Saturday and service department not in. I got towed myself to them, and a few days later, they "Fixed" the line again. That night on the way home, same line blew out, same situation. It was towed to them yet again, this time on their dime, and fixed. The next few weeks the truck was not running right, sluggish, no power at all. I filed a complait with the Attorney Genreal this time due to them not able to fix it and not wanting to return. I ended up broke down again. I tried to call the General Manager who had told me the last time i was in after the line blew the second time that i could call her at any time of the day, and she would not return my calls. After taking it to another dealership, come to find out the truck had been stuck in 4 wheel drive, and after some research i found that can indirectly cause transmission lines to blow. I had to pay for the repairs myself because the warranty denied the claim due to the warranty stating that it had to go back to Loudon if i lived within 40 miles. Ther "summary" paper i was handed, yea, that was not it. It was the contract that stated at the bottom i had to bring it back to them, and was never told that. Now, the only thing they are willing to do is refund me a prorated portion of my warranty. Much more to what I have ended up dealing with, but this is the main issues. Do not go to them. They are a horrible dealership, with a service department that cant make repairs, and sell you a warranty making you have to return to them when they cant fix the issues to begin with.

It was a coolant leak that spiraled and turned into a lot of hours in labor charge$$, guessing on radiator, thermostat? maybe, hoses, heater core, parts and symptoms over 3 weeks in dead of Winter. In the end was told to "get a head gasket replacement", but why was that not checked first when told that SUV was overheating? A compression leak down test or a coolant combustion gas test should have been the first thing done, then go from there. We just got a large bill and a larger one now looming... We are local, and like to give locals good reviews, but this was a most painful experience, and we had to rent cars for a month just to get by. He had somebody quit in the middle of all this, so I get that, but the communication there was very lacking, as we would go 4-5 days with no updates to the progress, kept us wondering every day if we should extend the rental car agreement, a day,a week, two, who knows? There is nobody working the front desk to call, so you are calling Nick directly and he's the one working on cars, so we weren't sure if he was getting messages. Every excuse was that he was always working on somebody else's car instead of ours. Engine was missing some parts by week 4, I had to go buy to replace after getting it back. He did refund me though. Interior of car was received as filthy and took over an hour to clean. I think that the A/C refrigerant was also lost in the radiator swap, I'll find out in the Summer. Bush's, McBrides, and Randy's were booked out 2 weeks when it overheated, or I would have gone there, so took a chance here and would not recommend.
