He has informal tastings almost every weekend where you can sample some wines while Dave leads a very informative discussion. You usually need to sign up in advance for the tastings. Don't go expecting some glitzy wine store with the snotty help walking around in striped aprons. It is a cluttered little warehouse the organization of which is only known to Dave. The bottles are not labeled with a price but Dave will know it, and it will usually be a bargain. Let him know your preferences and he will track something down you will like in your price range. Once he gets to know your tastes he will make recommendations whenever you visit. Get on his weekly email list to learn about upcoming tastings and features of the week. If you are a down to earth wine lover you owe it to yourself to visit Brightwines.

We have a friend coming to town who enjoys spirits so I picked up a few items. I thought I would pick up some liquor at Costco because it was quicker, but I didn't need a monster size of anything. After driving around looking for a liquor store, we happened to come across this place. This place is quite large with a pretty decent selection of everything. Prices seem fairly reasonable and they have clearance bins on wine, mixed stuff and other stuff. Huge walk in beer area. Guys checking out were nice and fun to talk to. J is always interested in the packaging and marketing of bottles so he spent a fair amount of time talking to them and wandering around looking at the design of everything. If I were more of a drinker, I would probably shop here for my needs. Good service, good prices and a lot of good times to be had.

They also have a great deal on short rib time to time as low as $7.99/lb. BUT what you really have to go for is the frozen pizzas! beware the larger pizzas - You might not even have a pan to put it on much less fit in your oven. Go for the smaller personal pizzas. The cheese pull is totally there and all of their meats are super flavorful and not overwhelmingly greasy. I also love their frozen ravioli and have yet to try their other frozen meals, but their red sauce is not too sweet. Does that taste processed and that's what makes these frozen meals so perfect. Easy parking, it's a little bit diver, but have a look around - It's much more than a liquor store!

They are a small store and if you're looking for wine or spirits, they have a pretty standard selection. However, if you're looking for specialty beer, this is your place. They have so many rare or more difficult to find beers and really focus on local and craft brews. We always find something we've never seen before when we come here. Staff are also very friendly and helpful if you're looking for something specific.

Went with the following: Brooklyn Brewery Monster Ale (first time I have seen this anywhere, and it will be my first to sample), Lagunitas Sucks Brown Shugga Substitute Ale (also first time seeing this anywhere), Left Hand Sawtooth Ale, Great Divide Denver Pale Ale, Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale, and Big Sky IPA. Grand total? 12 bucks. Pretty reasonable, if you ask me. Guy at the register was a little slow ringing up the product. Took what felt like five minutes. He said he was filling in. No biggie.
