I ordered and PAID for a dinning room table and 6 chairs in September 2020. I have received 4 chairs. The table was broken and reordered. I am still waiting for the table and 2 chairs. I am very disappointed . I have called the store 3 times today. The person that said he was one of the managers said he would call me back in 10 minutes. It's been 3 hours, nothing. Next time I called I was put on hold for 13 minutes. I hung up. Today is January 31, 2021, 4 months later. I think I have waited long enough for my furniture. I would like to have my money back. So, I consider myself a smart shopper. I've been to every furniture store, mattress store, bed store, etc. Comparing price for quality, there was no comparison to the stores in the furniture row. Checking out the ashleys, they were having a 20% off sale... but I had JUST been there, when the prices were 20% lower than their "new sales price"!!! I asked a guy about it and he just babbled a bunch of nonsense about the economy. Furniture Factory Outlet made me feel... gross? I just wanted to know about recliners and I felt like the sales guy wouldn't leave me alone! Then out of nowhere he offered me 10% off and free delivery...? Whenever I'm at Furniture Row, I am greeted by someone friendly, and genuinely interested in helping me find what I'm looking for! And let me just say that the prices were shocking! I couldn't believe it. I had to ask about what brands they were, and although the manager had all the info, I hadn't heard of some of them. BUT the 2 most important things for me were these: he flipped a sofa over for me and cut off the dust cover so I could see how well built it was (and it was!), then I asked about some sort of discount or free delivery an he basically said that they don't negotiate on the prices because they are so far under the competition (which is def true) and said there isn't a free delivery because it is a service that does cost money and he wouldn't insult me by saying it was free. This place is a mess. I ordered my furniture 3 months ago and I am STILL struggling to get it. Have had two nightstands delivered that were damaged a table and chair ordered that were different heights (table was high but chairs were for the lower model table) they never call to tell me my furniture is in despite their promise to do so. So I am always having to go out of my way to call and deliver it. When I express my concerns, the person I work with has excuse after excuse and absolutely no apology for the inconvenience. Avoid Clay. He is rude, lazy, and arrogant. No matter what you need he will always have a nasty response. I don't know why they keep him. He makes customers hate the place. They need to let him go. I refuse to have any interactions with him anymore. It's disturbing that they keep him. He must be a part owner or something. He makes the shopping experience horrible and I won't shop there ever again because of Clay. Clay is the worst part of furniture row. I still have not gotten the chair I bought in May and it is almost July. Beware they are ridiculously slow! If you want or need furniture NOW, do not go to furniture row. You get furniture EVENTUALLY from here and delivery literally means they will set it I. Your yard. I kid you not. They will not even bring it inside. Period. No negotiation. So if you can't lift it and bring it inside out of your yard forget it. There are better places to get furniture. Just avoid these guys. read more

My husband and I bought 4 bar stools from the Joplin, Missouri store. After we got the chairs home, we realized they weren't the right color so I took all 4 chairs back to Furniture Row. When we chose another bar stool, I was afraid to buy 4 of them, only to have to take them all back. The guys who work there were Awesome!! They let me buy one of them and take it home to see if it worked and if it didn't I could return it. It worked. I now own 4 of them and they're beautiful!! I can't say enough good about the way the workers handled me. They made it so easy for me to get exactly what I wanted. The sales guy was rude and made us wait for 20 min. No one greeted us as we entered the store. They only do military discount on Veteran's day. Rediculous, considering my husband recently finished out his military contract and we are starting from scratch. Horrible customer service. Furniture is overpriced. Kyle at Denver Mattress in Joplin, Missouri is so professional and courteous. I have been in the market for a mattress and he has been such a great guy to work with! He genuinely cared about my well being in trying to fit the right mattress to me. I can't say enough good things about him. Definitely give this store a try if you are in the market. Also a shout out to Chad, Jose, and everyone one at the entire Furniture Row in Joplin. I also bought furniture on the Oak Side and the Sofa side. I haven't met a bad employee yet!
