    Husky

My husky needed a good Spa day. He came back looking beautiful and shiny with no hair fall out. Staff was friendly and price was reasonable.

    Merry Christmas to all!!!

My little Freddie couldn't ask for a better second Mom. I just mention Adele's name and he's ready to go. He cries and whines all the way there as if I could drive any faster. He bounces out of the car when we arrive and runs to the door. It's a thrill to this Mom that he loves her so. I understand he's very good while there (but maybe she says that to everyone). He tells me he has a very good time. I wonder what that means... Hmm...

    Jaxons last groom. Nov 2019.

I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. I started going here a few years ago when she was a bit newer to the area, and after going to the other groomer in town. My dogs were elderly, they were mostly blind and deaf, and were screamers with the scissors around their eyes. The other grooming shop didn't want to take them because they had an elderly dog die on them in the past and didn't want me to sue. They told me that my dogs were having seizures while they were being groomed and wouldn't be alive more than a month. That didn't sound right at all, so I decided to look for a new groomer on Yelp. Tried getting a mobile groomer but she was packed. Adelle called me, got me in right away, OFFERED to let me stay with my boys and hold them during the process. And she only has one client at a time in her shop which was HUGE for my boys. My dogs have since passed at ages 17.5 and 18.5. The other groomer in town was WRONG about them dying in a month. They lived another 3 years. The reviews about Adelle being scared is absolutely nonsense. She is a pack alpha and the dogs know it when they come in. She is loving and gentle, and knowledgeable, and respects them as the gentle and scared souls that they are. I've seen her with my dogs and other dogs and she treats them good. She's amazing with hard-to-groom dogs and was a HUGE blessing in our lives, as I had no other option left and she stepped up. My boys were frail and old and not easy to groom. I actually had felt alone in the process of watching them aging, and health declining, and i felt like Adelle was with me in the process and of understanding it more than anyone in my life... probably because she was up and personal with them so often. She's a blessing and there's a reason why she's so difficult to get into--word of mouth keeps her busy.

Owner takes the time to make a new groom pleasant for both the dog and parent. She cares. I highly recommend.

As always, we wait 20-45min past our appointment time. Yesterday, our appt for a simple booster shot was at 10:15am, we had to wait until 10:50am before our Newfie puppy was taken back for her bortedella booster, so she could go to the groomer. Finally, nearly late for our grooming appt at 11:15am, as we stood at the counter to pay out bill, of course Monica was slow and behind as always, had us wait to "find" our pets file so we could pay, and leave, in that time, an owner who had two pitbulls on flimsy leashes, attacked our puppy fom behind, she was stuck in a room that was overcrowded, with dogs, and with nowhere to go, and that pitbull having its jaws on her, I went down, injuring myself ,while the office staff, simply watched and did nothing. (I later, having just had a total hip replacement, and sustaining injuries to my legs from the pitbull trampling me to get to my dog who I had freed in the process, the second time, it got her ear and she was screaming, my husband was able to pry the pitbulls jaws open to release our scared, tramatized puppy. Finally, we left that death trap of an office. Today, we called asking for anti inflammatory and antibiotics for the puppy, we were denied and told we had to bring her back. After the attack, let me add, I was handed a dirty bucket with used pads full of betadine and told to "take care of my self"(my cuts and gashes) while they swabbed my puppy. She was given no medication and I of course, didn't think of that, all I could think was that my puppy was almost killed in the vets overcrowded office. So today, calling for the medication for the pup (I already went to the ER), they denied her medicine and said to bring her back. I am not going to tramatize her further, photos were taken, injuries quickly scanned by the staff and all of this could have been prevented had they been on time, and not overbooked. Now, my puppy is left suffering and in pain, the other option is to bring her back to the place of her attack. Yes, I filed a report with animal control. But this clinic seems to not care for the well being of anyone but their own pockets. This is not the only instance of their negligence, but the most severe. After, the same puppy was fixed (spayed) there, we did not recieve any follow up calls to check on her, as I have with other veterinarians, for my cats. When I called to ask questions about after care, I was rudely told, it was on the sheet,( the only thing we recieved was 5pills with manufacturer instructions and a reciept for more than $500 to spay a Newfie pup). When I asked about the stitches I was told they would dissolve, they did not, and a few days ago I noticed on her belly, something plastic and threadlike, at the appt yesterday, sure enough, it was the stitches from her spaying 5 months prior. This is a very insensitive and negligent clinic who overbooks to line their greedy pockets. Please save yourself the trauma and do not risk your pets life to these uncaring, uncompassionate people. Tomorrow, I am suppoosed to leave for my honeymoon and they have ruined what should be the happiest time of my life. As a final kick in the teeth, they deny any concern for the puppy's health, claiming it was an accident. They have a duty to ensure the safety of all people and pets on their premises. My poor dog is left in pain and traumatized from the attack in a place she is supposed to be safe and cared for. Please do not endanger your animal or yourself, as I did. I am still recovering from cuts and bruises and the phycological damage of seeing my beloved puppy attacked from behind will never leave me. I am scarred for life from seeing my puppy nearly killed, and my honeymoon is ruined, as I am worried about my puppy, and will be the whole time.
