Master Marcus, Ms Avery, and all the other instructors are really incredible martial artists as well as people. They care about us as individuals and no matter the rank, from white belt through all levels of black belt, they give detailed instruction on best practices and technique. At the same time, they understand all various physical limitations and don't force you to push yourself past your body's limitations. I have been going to Fusion since August of 2016 and all the instructors are Great! At Fusion all the instructors take the time to help you achieve your goals where they are helpful, patient, caring, kind. The instructors at Fusion care about safety. When someone first comes to Fusion there is a one on one meeting where you talk to the owner/instructor about any previous experience in martial arts, safety and what your needs are to help you achieve in martial arts then there will be a one on one lesson to determine where you are at for a level of martial arts and look around to see the facility. I have two boys: a shy one and an troublemaker one (young one). The instructors here are amazing. They were able to help my boys find a balance making my life as a parent easier. We tried a different school before and it was ok but it did not have an impact on the boys (my yougest son quit after one week). Now, my boys are excited to train, want to compete, and succeed in earning their black belt. We found this studio through groupon, and kept on coming back because of the high level of excellence in teaching and tae kwon do, also teaching core values like discipline, respect for yourself and others, and loyalty. Instructors are very patient and knowledgeable; they also know how to challenge you to get more out of you, kids and adults alike. This martial arts school is amazing! I have been training here for 3 1/2 years and love the atmosphere! They have a class for everyone... kickboxing, traditional forms and weapons, sparring, flips and tricks... With the come-when-you-can schedule, it makes it really nice to fit into my already busy high school schedule. Our experience has been kind, warm, and just amazing. Every member of the staff is truly kind and caring. They are highly skilled and passionate about what they do. I am impressed at the life lessons the students learn - along with training their bodies they learn about integrity, making good choices and friends, and setting goals to work towards. At our first meeting we were asked what I hoped my son would gain from his experience with the studio - and then my goals became our mutual goals. My son (6 yrs.) quickly fell in love with taekwondo and Fusion Martial Arts - he hasn't shown this level of passion for any other activity before. I know we chose the best studio for him. My family has been involved with Fusion since 2008 when we transferred from another martial arts school. The training and life lessons my sons (now 16 and 18) have learned are priceless. The instructors have always made sure they have been ready for each personal achievement and milestone, and my oldest recently tested, successfully, for his fourth degree black belt and is also now a certified instructor.
