Unfortunately, corporate has decided to close the Woodbury location and redirect members to Edina. While relocating might be acceptable for some, the real issue is the lack of flexibility: longtime members like me can't cancel their memberships via the app. This creates a frustrating situation. Staff at the club are unable to assist, corporate redirects inquiries back to the club, and online chat support offers no resolution. It's during moments like these--when a customer seeks to cancel--that a company's true character is revealed. Sadly, Title Boxing is not showing its best side.

However, I strongly advise against signing up for a membership directly through the studio. Go through ClassPass or another platform if you can. I was a member for 5 years, but for the last year the app stopped working properly, preventing me from viewing the class schedule or reserving spots in advance. I brought this up several times in person, but staff were unable to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, when I finally decided to cancel, I was charged for an additional month, despite all the hassle. The whole experience was unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing.

Look out Rocky, I got pink boxing gloves and am ready to rumble…read more I Love Kickboxing: My friend asked me to come to a class with her so I signed up online for the 3 classes plus a pair of REAL boxing gloves for $19.99. After class 1, I was hooked. I signed up for the 35 class package and am so glad I did. I can say that even after my entire body was sore for 5 days. What's cool: -Many class times throughout the day -Teachers are SO NICE and helpful. On your first (and for me subsequent) visits, they show you how to punch, kick, etc. correctly. So important. -Great cardio while boxing as well as killer (in a good way) ab and all over toning. -Dress in a tshirt and sweats-any body type, size can feel comfortable here. -They tell you to work at your own pace/there's no intimidation at all. Bonus: I love taking pictures of me looking tough in my boxing gloves. Gives the family lots of laughs.

I returned this morning for 8 a.m. kickboxing after an 8-month hiatus. What a difference! They put…read morein new floor mat on the outside perimeter of the studio and installed wet wipe dispensers for people to clean off their bags after class. It seemed like a whole new place. The kickboxing classes provide a great workout. The first fifteen minutes are a killer core/cardio workout, and the bulk of the class has repetitive punch and kick sequences. While you are working out, the instructors provide helpful tips on how to get more out of the exercises. This is not a real self-defense class, but they do advise you on how to improve your form and keep your face protected. The classes radiate positivity. From what I can tell, the instructors have all gotten themselves into shape and pulled their lives together through the kickboxing classes. The ads intimidate you with glowering sweating ripped bodies, but the actual class has adults of all ages and all states of fitness. The instructors double as cheerleaders (or drill sergeants) for the group, and they make sure you pull through, one way or another. I stopped going earlier for two reasons: I found the marketing at the end of every class a little annoying, and the workout space felt really unclean. I didn't want to touch or lie down on the almost-greasy floor. The base of the bags were slippery when you do triceps dips. Even with students doubled up on punching bags, some classes were so crowded that they turned people away. And as the class progressed, the overpowering aroma of humanity made it difficult to focus on the workout. Get a bag near the emergency exit--they do open the door for air. Perhaps I should have complained, but I also thought that it was so obvious that they were probably sick of the complaints that surely came from other people. So, today I was reminded of the positive points, and I was very heartened to see the new flooring and the wet wipes. I'll use up the remaining classes in my membership and consider renewing. The 8 a.m. today was pleasant and not crowded, but the after-work sessions can be both crowded and hot from the previous classes.

There's a 10-week challenge to see who got strongest/lost most weight, and a party at the end, and when my wife and I went, she was so impressed by the changes everyone had made that she joined, too! I've had THREE other friends join since then, and we bought a year's subscription for our employee. It's so easy to make friends there because everyone is going through such an intense experience. The joke is, "No one joins an aerobic kickboxing gym because everything is going perfectly in their life". :-) The other saying I hear is, "People join for the aerobic kickboxing, but stay for the weightlifting." Man, I never ever thought I'd be into weightlifting, but getting strong and gaining muscle (even though I'm in my 50s!) is amazing! The people here are so diverse...gay, straight, trans...no-religion, Muslim, Christian...people in their 20s and people in their 70s(!) I made more friends here in one year than I've made in the 20 years I've lived in St Paul. What a supportive community. It's all group classes, with an instructor and fun music, and it alternates between aerobic kickboxing days (using a bag, not going against another person), and weightlifting days. I had never done either before...and now I love them both! Definitely recommend FXB on Selby Avenue! :-)

I will give a 0 star If I could. I never thought I'd have to write something like this, but parents…read moredeserve to know what really happened. Imagine being a grown adult running a business and choosing to retaliate against a second grader. That's exactly what happened to my son at Rosemount Martial Arts Academy. Before December, both of my boys were thriving. They play basketball, football, and they swim. They're high achievers, hardworking, and always give 100% in everything they do. They were earning their stripes, passing their tests, and moving up just like they were supposed to. Everything was smooth no issues, no concerns, no problems with effort or skill. We even got emails from him complaining my boys and suddenly everything changed. The retaliation only started after my older son earned all his stripes, took his test, and the owner decided to fail him anyway. We confronted him about it, and from that moment on, everything changed. For six months, they kept auto‑drafting $200 every month while refusing to give my second grader any stripes, any testing, or any progress at all. They held him back on purpose not because of his ability, not because of behavior, but because the owner had a personal issue with us. My little boy a second grader showed up excited every week, ready to learn and grow, and they froze him completely. Do you know how painful it is to watch your child wonder why every other kid is moving forward except him? And the saddest part? We talked to some of the neighborhood kids who used to go there and they told us this is exactly why they left too. I also read reviews from other parents saying they noticed the same thing, especially the ones paying out of pocket. Kids repeating the same forms for years, no progress, no explanation the same pattern we lived through for two years. And honestly, it makes sense now. Most of the time, it wasn't even the adult instructors teaching it was little kids or students teaching the classes just the same forms over and over again. My boys were stuck doing the exact same thing for two years. No child deserves to be used as leverage in an adult's power trip. No parent should have to explain to their child why a grown man chose to take his frustration out on them. If you're a parent in the area, please be aware. What happened to my boys should never happen to anyone's child.
