Surprisingly they make some of the best sushi! Very fresh and not overloaded with rice. My family always gets the platters from here. The salmon tray is one of our favourites. They have a great selection of plants too that are a great price! I just got some roses shrubs $22.99 each, buy 2 get 1 free! There aren't usually any lines so paying is quick and easy. I dropped by Fusion Supermarket to get to Tagpuan. What? I had placed a Too Good to Go order from Tagpuan. I then realized when I got here that it was inside Fusion Supermarket. Perfect! I needed to pick up a few grocery items. I could kill two birds with one stone. Aside: I've heard that this saying angers animal activists and I should say, "Mash two potatoes with a fork." But, wouldn't veggie activists be upset now? I had no problem finding this supermarket. It was brightly lit when the sun was set at around 6 pm on a Tuesday night. I found a parking spot relatively close to the main entrance and backed my car in. I then walked into the supermarket. I love visiting a new supermarket. I always feel comfortable in one, no matter where I am. I felt the same thing here. The produce section was amazing. It was vast and looked impeccable. I picked up celery that was flawless and wrapped in plastic wrap. I also got a huge avocado. I found Tagpuan straight ahead when I walked into the store. It's a great addition to a Filipino supermarket. The seafood section is impressive. There were huge tanks of fish. There was so much to look at, from pear mango drinks, to huge jackfruit. I didn't walk the entire supermarket, but I want to return to do just that. I was hungry, so I fetched my dinner and a few groceries before checking out. I had a friendly woman at the cashout area. My items were less than $10. I was paying with a debit card, which meant that a 25-cent charge was added to my grocery total. I was good with it. I don't carry cash during a pandemic and it was such a negligible cost. The woman bagged my items. I thanked her and left with my dinner and groceries. I enjoyed coming here. I started ordering groceries from Fusion as the Omicron surge was really starting to reak havoc as there are so few Asian grocery store that will deliver. Fusion has a minimum of $40 for free delivery within 30 kms! And any online shopping done before 3 p.m. can be delivered the same day. Now, how is that for service and efficiency? If the requested item is not available, they will call you for substitution or cancellation of the item. As far as pricing goes, it has reasonable mark ups, in my opinion. And for speedy and quality of product, I will continue to order from Fusion for all my Asian grocery needs. read more

This ethnic grocery store in Scarborough carries mostly Caribbean and Asian products. Prices are decent - cheaper than most other grocery stores in Toronto. The variety and selection of products are quite outstanding - you can find Filipino, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and pretty much in between (sauces, food mixes, raw ingredients, tropical fruits, etc.). They carry products that would otherwise be hard to find anywhere else (such as ackee). There are also ready-to-go hot meal sections that have a pretty good selection of Filipino and fusion cuisines, as well as a grab-and-go sushi section. It's an Asian supermarket just north of Hwy 401 off Morningside Avenue off-ramp. This place is truly a department supermarket with staff behind service counters in meats and seafood. There is also a hot foods area to buy and sit down. Prices are competitive and checkout was event free. read more

I've done some grocery-shopping a few times here and the workers are quite polite. Decent sales in the store, I've observed many of the deals to be cheaper than Western grocery-stores and other Chinese grocery stores. I like to check out the vegetable rack at the back of the store to the left that are on sale. Often you can find ripe groceries at a very cheap price, they are not rotten, just ripe for immediate consuming so it'd be good to pick some up for cooking it on the same day. There is a wide store variety, compared to the other Chinese grocery stores out there, they even offer a large selection on cheese which is impressive. I would see many different ethnicities shopping in the store even though it is owned and operated by mostly Chinese people, and I even see they hire people of other ethnicities unlike the other average Chinese grocery stores. Well, in the Scarborough region, you wouldn't get many Chinese shoppers anyways, but it's good that this store attracts people of all backgrounds. read more

Be careful buying King fish at this store it could be rotten and if you don't returned in 24hour they won't take it back I am never shopping there again I bout a box of fish slice king fish I put it in the freezer (,come frozen) the next I took a few prices to thaw out , as it thawed the smell was awfully when I went to clean it up it was so soft. Busiest place ever. Parking lot is always full. Always have good deals! They definitely need more cashiers and only some lines take cash or debit, no credit. You also slow the line down if you use debit that isn't tap and feel stupid. Place is a little unorganized, but it works. Fresh food counter always has good deals and their sushi is pretty good. Hard to find & quirky items, excellent takeout, sushi platters and discount meal prices after 8PM. What's not to like? If you're a Scarborough resident looking for an alternative to Sky Land (and the slew of other Chinese markets in the area), give Fusion a try! Only downside is Fusion's location (just across the 401 along Morningside before entering Wal-Mart). Bonus piece of advice: stay away from the "Back Shot" health tonic. I came here for groceries and I was never disappointed. Prices are decently fair for everything, and items are usually cheaper compares to the other supermarkets. They have a food mart inside too, where they sale fresh sushi, cooked Chinese food and a bakery. The checkout service is fast and efficient, so you won't have to wait in the line forever. read more

This is my new shopping destination for groceries! The prices are just phenomenal for produce; I say this because they give you a lot of goods per fee. The canned fish, milk, nuts, spices and many other goods are priced significantly low as well; given these tough economic times, this is my "Go-To-Place" ******** They also prepare many great fully-cooked entries like chicken dinners, sea-foods, rice & pasta dishes, all for bargain give away deals. Another great feature to mention: "There is never a line-up at check-out!" I'm not a racist but there cashiers are not friendly and just give you plastic bag to bag your groceries by yourself. It's ok if they are busy but just give you bag and watched you while standing there is not acceptable at all! This is the only Chinese Supermarket who do this! Bag your groceries urself!!! Love going here they have a wide range of things that you wouldn't find inside of nofrills or Walmart. Different culture varieties. Sometimes their pricing can be outrageous and the staff isn't the most helpful. It's more a supermarket. It's the go to place for fruits. Very poor service too expensive fish head. We bought a fish the cost 50$ we was not able to check the price. When we try to return it they wont allow us to return for the reason the fish head was already cut.We're so disappointed that they allow us to return it to think we still in the store.I won't recommend this store anymore. read more
