Tips: - It's 25 cents to use a shopping cart. - Al Premium produce is at this Walmart, which means fresh! - The George women's clothing section is nice, along with bright change rooms. This Walmart Supercentre is a five-minute drive from Malvern Mall (Town Centre) in the Malvern area of Scarborough. I flagged visiting this store after picking up some takeout from Tahini's across from it. I decided to check it out a couple of Saturdays ago. This store had a decent wave of customers, but it wasn't as crazy as the one in Richmond Hill at Highway 7 and Bayview. This one had a relaxed vibe, which I appreciated. You do need a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. I had one, thankfully. I needed the cart for my grocery haul. There was a promotion in the prepared foods section. I loved looking at the smoothies and bubble tea. The meals, such as the sweet and sour chicken with noodles, looked yummy. I like that this Walmart carries Al Premium products. All the meals, like BBQ chicken legs and BBQ pork on rice, are from Al Premium. I should shop at Al Premium one of these days. I feel like I have when I hit Walmart. The produce and fruit looked fresh and healthy. The dragon fruit looked especially yummy. I ended up getting peaches, green apples, and strawberries. I also got celery, an avocado, and lemons. I got ground beef. I could choose from value packs or get some in atubes. This store has a decent selection of yogurt. It had Activia in lactose-free vanilla and Silk key lime yogurt varieties that I love. It looked like there was a Silk sale on cashew and coconut beverage. I got a couple of cartons. The aisles at this store are exceptionally wide. It's nice having a ton of space to move around, especially with a shopping cart. I liked the cleaning supply section. It had everything that I needed. Although it's too early to be thinking about a puffy jacket, I saw some at this store by the cleanest, brightest change room. The price was decent. The plant section was also impressive. I liked seeing hanging plants and healthy leaves on potted ones. Like the Walmart in Box Grove, this one seems to close off the self-checkout kiosks. This store seems to want to you check out with a human. I don't mind it at all. I got a friendly woman at the checkout. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I bagged all my groceries and headed to my car. I got my quarter back from the cart. It was a good grocery shopping experience. I seem to be an anomaly with my review. I'm not sure why there are so many one-star reviews. It's a decent store with a supermarket. I prefer it over the Richmond Hill one for sure. (337) read more

This the worst Walmart ever and the manager Steve U needs to work on stock and scheduling at customer service. I waited 30 minutes in a line up at 1:30 pm on Thursday. I understand that this is a busy day as the new flyer is posted on Thursday. So the schedule should be reflected in availability of staff on the service counter. When I arrived there was 6 people ahead of me. One lady had to leave because she couldn't stand anymore. No one called for assistance at the service desk. As I was leaving the store I heard over the public announcement a request for assistance at the customer service "two little too late!!! The second reason for my bad review is the lack of stock documented in the flyer on the first day! What is wrong with this location it is constantly poorly stocked for quite some time. I recommend going to Pickering it is more efficient and better stocked. read more

This Walmart Supercentre is constantly overflowing with business despite its location in Scarborough. It is also likely indirectly responsible for the liquidation of the long-time Sobeys that got replaced by Fusion Supermarket a block away since Walmart has lower prices for similar items. Never encountered an issue there, a good go-to place for essentials. The line-ups can take quite a while though. read more

I've been to this location numerous times. The customer service/help/assistance culture is virtually non-existent. The staff don't seem to know their products, don't know where they are, cannot find appropriate reps for the department; the aisles are un-numbered and makes the customer feel like they're in a a labyrinth; the manager doesn't seem to understand that empty shelves without product is not only an eye-sore, but a clear signal of a cavalier attitude toward business service. A lot of work needs to be done to bring this location up-to-snuff. No kidding... jPc. read more

If you want to be embarassed and accused of being a theif every time you check out, the Morningside and Milner Wal Mart is the place for you!!! The customer service at this location is horendous, the employees are very accusing of every single customer in the store, the management hides in their office and will not come out when issues arise, and their go to is the online prices, which most often are between $5-$20 more expensive than the instore price. they try to make you pay full price for clearance items, because if you got it off the clearance rack your automatically stealing from their store. there are never any floor staff around when you need help, and anyone that posts positive reviews of this store work there and have been asked by management to do so to protect their reputation. This store is an absolute joke, My cat has better service than their entire team as a whole. Don't shop here unless it is absolutely necessary. read more

Poor horrible customer service. I wish there was 0 stars because thats all they're worth. I went today to purchase a dish tray and the check out lady was accusing me of stealing the toaster when i wanted to exchange it for another one, but i did not have the receipt. I than made the purchase. Afterwards she was calling the customer service lady who was an evil witch, trying to yell and ignore me in the end because she knew i wanted to tell her off and anytime i see her i definitely will call her out. I was so mad i refunded everything and left my own toaster i paid for there. I also contacted the head department. For now, it's just a warning. Next time it will be a wrap. On Sunday, January 17 2021 at around noon, my mother and I visited their location on Milner avenue in Scarborough Ontario - store #3111- with the intention of purchasing the Cetaphil night cream with a $5 off coupon I received with my previous jar. At the self checkout, upon presenting the coupon to the associate, my mother and I were asked if we took the coupon from the product shelf. We were extremely embarrassed, because the associate was basically accusing us of stealing. A 5$ coupon is not worth our integrity and dignity. When we pointed out to the associate that I was purchasing two jars (one with the coupon, the other at regular price) as well as items that were worth more, she gaslit us saying that it is common for people to steal the coupons. She looked at us, two Black women, and automatically thought we were stealing and refused to apologize after being proven wrong. I work in retail and yes, while it is common for people to steal items, one of the very first things we're taught in training is to report any suspicious behaviour to a supervisor instead of direct confrontation. Instead of that, this associate chose to accuse us of stealing based on the negative stereotypes of Black people. I reported her to her supervisor but was left unsatisfied with his response. This Walmart is notorious for racist micro-aggressions, I will be taking my money elsewhere. read more
