This took place in February or March 2026, and it's now early May, so unfortunately I don't remember the repairman's name, as I would definitely give him kudos for his workmanship & pleasant demeanor. The repairman who came out was very efficient & candid about what had happened & what needed to be done. It ended up being a particular fuse that sat immediately behind the control panel had failed, & it just required replacement. There was an entire litany of things that could've gone wrong with it, & he could've quoted me on several of those things, replaced them & charged me exorbitantly for the parts & labor. But... he did not. He was very honest with me & even educated me a little while he checked other parts ( mainly a different fuse on the back of the oven ) to make sure they were functional before he left. I most certainly would use Adam's Appliance Repair. Unfortunately for Yelp, I won't be needing their services in seeking an appliance repair service company - I've found who I'm sticking with hereafter!!

Russell has an immense knowledge of appliances and an amazing (although somewhat dark) sense of humor. It was nice to have a salesperson that tells you the truth. We were looking for Black Stainless or Slate appliances. Russell asked us one question that probably saved us a ton of headaches. He asked how the search was going, when we explained that we couldn't find what we're looking for anywhere he said," and you'll have the same problem when it come to replacing them". I can see how people mistake his directness for rudeness, he just tells you the truth, short, to the point and full stop. After hearing about the issues with certain manufacturers and that we had to "buy what is available" as to order and item may take weeks or even months (exactly what we were told at Nebraska Furniture). We were able to find almost everything we needed at Russell's but not a double drawer French door refrigerator. So he called other stores. Not as in other "Russell's" stores, he actually called competing appliance stores. He just dialed up other stores with his phone on speaker so we could hear the conversation. I expected him to be calling stores around Broken Bow so I was somewhat surprised that he was calling stores as far away as Dallas, Fort Worth, Texarkana and Tyler, but not surprised when everyone he spoke to seemed to genuinely like him and to be genuinely happy to help him. Probably too late to make a long story short but he found the refrigerator we wanted in stock at a store in Rockwall, Texas. The store was North Texas Appliance and they said they'd have it ready for him to pick up Saturday and to make sure that he saw everyone when he came in. It's not too often you find a business that will actually go out of their way to help a customer, but I know he drove at least 5 hours on his day off to help us. We are truly grateful for all Russell/Russell's did for us. The appliances are great, the installation was flawless and the technician that installed our appliances was extremely polite, courteous and professional. When we told him how happy we were he told us to, " write a review then" so I did. The repairs have always been done properly and no higher than if I lived in a town with these services. They have repaired refrigerators and washer and dryers for me. They usually have to make 2 trips because they have to diagnose the problem then return with whatever is needed to do the repair. There are no extra trip charges and can't be expected to have a complete inventory on their trucks.
