    If you want your electronics fixed the right way just look it up on youtube and fix it yourself...it'll save you time and money.

    DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GREASE MONKEY!! Our car was serviced…read moreJune 25th to replace the AC compressor system. PETER was the mechanic who specifically told me multiple times a NEW compressor was needed. PETER never discussed a reman. My car was ready for pick up the next day. I asked for paperwork of everything they replaced. They said no worries will email you. NEVER received an email. I called that following Monday, because my car had NEW sounds and the fan was struggling to run.PETER SAID NOT TO WORRY! My husband brought the car up there that Friday after the air stopped working, and I was told PETER NEVER showed up to work that day. We asked to speak to the general manager, they said they would have the district manager call us. Adam who is the district manager for grease monkey called, and was very disrespectful. Taking no accountability for what his mechanic who obviously didn't do the job correctly. We demanded for a different mechanic to see what the issue was. Adam sent one over who again didn't know what he was doing and my husband told the mechanic to not to put STOPS LEAK in the system. Well he did anyways! My husband took pics as he was walking to car to see what the mechanic was doing. We told Adam what happened and again nothing but attitude. He sent over another mechanic from a different shop, but we were grateful for that, because Greyson found the paperwork and seen 2 reman AC compressors were put into the car, and grease monkey charged me for 2 AC compressors! The first one had a leak and so does the second AC compressor! We told Adam and he could care less what we found making excuses and basically calling us liars! I HAVE THAT RECORDED! We took our vehicle to another shop, who did a diagnostic on it. My car has 5k worth of damage because of grease monkey! I have Freon leaking from the reman AC compressor, and the rest of the components are trashed from STOPS LEAK! Adam also stated they are losing money! WELL IF YOU DID THE JOB CORRECTLY YOU WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO REFUND MONEY! Adam also refused to give us his bosses # Jerry Bonnet, but because what I do for a living. I found an email and sent over the issues! We are dealing with corporate in hope they compensate for the damages they caused. If not, we are taking legal action! We have also reported Grease monkey to the BBB!

    I've brought two separate laptops to this business. The first was a problem with the connection…read morefor the power supply coming loose on the main board. They opened the computer, soldered the connector back down and did it on a rush job situation. Charged a reasonable rate and the turnaround was great. So...with that very positive experience behind me, a second computer needed work on a part for the display ...and the computer was just barely out of warranty. This means that the computer was just barely a year old. And it was a Hewlett-Packard. I take the machine in...it was a rather expensive one. The light behind the screen wasn't coming on. The tech opens the bezel of the screen, pokes around and turns to me and says that the part isn't available anymore. I tried to explain that the computer was just barely out of warranty. The tech (who happens to be the owner) tells me with a straight face that the part cannot be found, the computer can't be repaired. BUT...he says he'd offer around $600 for the machine because he could parts it out. I told him to close the machine up and I'd take it with me. I take it back to my boss (it was his computer) and tell him that I'd like to try and take it to CompUSA (back when they were still open, obviously) and he approved. Next day, I take it to their service counter, the guy opens it up and says that the repair would cost about $150 and could be done within a couple days as that's how long it would take to get the part. I told him about what I was told at the Laptop Shop and he said that there is absolutely no shortage of parts for the computer. I had the repair done, it was ready in 3 days and cost $160. Now...why would the LTS offer $600 for a machine...knowing that the part and repair could be done?? Personally, if someone was willing to sell a machine worth over $2000 to me for 600 and I only needed to put in a part that's less than $150 to have a fully functional machine...I'd do it in a heartbeat. That's if they were willing and had knowledge that's what I was doing. Make up your own mind. But mine was made up as soon as I got the repaired computer back...fully functional and done even though the part supposedly wasn't available. We've had to have a couple other laptops looked at since this incident...but they won't be brought here.
