Love our new Hunter Douglas Alustra Duette shades! We recently had some windows replaced. Debated whether we should go back to Home Depot/Lowe's and get our normal inexpensive blinds or go a little fancier. Decided we would get a few quotes for custom window coverings. We weren't sure if we wanted honeycomb shades, shutters, blinds or what. Found a few different companies on Yelp to meet with us and give us their opinions and ideas for what would work best in those areas. Got a few different quotes and also met with Colby at Future View Window Fashions. It was an interesting process to go through his sample books, pick out materials and then hold them up in the windows to see which ones we liked. SO MANY DIFFERENT OPTIONS! At first we thought about getting Alta brand coverings since they were less expensive than Hunter Douglas. But after looking through the sample books, there was a material in the HD book that I really liked. And of course it happened to be one of their fancier lines too. ^_^ Plus we loved the "Top Down Bottom Up" feature where you can pull the shades down from the top for extra sunlight. Fortunately Colby was able to work some numbers and give us a great price that was considerably less than other Hunter Douglas dealers in the area. (We had another company that was close to Colby's price but they happened to be on vacation during that time.) After receiving Colby's quote, we told him we would think about it. He even encouraged us to get other quotes, since he knew his prices were competitive. A few days later, he called us to see if we had any questions. We told him we decided to go for it. He was very happy to get our business and even dropped off a box of temporary shades for our windows, since we had no blinds or anything in our room. We figured the temporary shades would be on our windows for several weeks but surprisingly, our Hunter Douglas Alustra Duette shades arrived in about a week! I think even Colby was surprised they arrived so quick because he initially sent his installer to another customer, thinking our order was theirs! Installer David was great. He knew was he was doing and the installation did not take very long. We use the shades every day and have not had any issues. We like Hunter Douglas' quality and hope they last a long time. They seem to have a good "limited lifetime warranty" (though I'm a little concerned about one of Future View's reviews where the customer isn't getting help for a warranty replacement...hopefully they get that fixed soon). Had some confusion with getting texts that were going to the wrong person and some other minor issues but all in all, a great company to go with if you're looking for Hunter Douglas or Alta window coverings. Prices are lower and Colby is eager to gain your business, so definitely get a quote from Future View Window Fashions! read more

I had a great experience when Future View Window Fashion was selling me their products back in 2019, but everything changed when I needed support. One of my shades needed to be replaced, so I reached out hoping to use their "limited lifetime warranty." Initially, Colby Black responded, but as soon as he realized I was requesting a warranty replacement, communication became nearly nonexistent. After several follow-ups, I received excuses about a family emergency, and then he disappeared again. I even offered to pay for a replacement if the warranty wasn't applicable, but my messages were ignored. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Their customer service is excellent when they're making a sale (and charging you), but when it comes to honoring warranties or helping existing customers, they completely disappear. I would not recommend this company. Save yourself the frustration and choose a reputable business that stands behind its products and provides reliable customer service. read more

If I could provide zero stars I would. I purchased motorized roman shades for four large windows at a cost of $4,485. The shades came down within 6mo. I told the store. They came to fix twice. The shades continued to come down. The problem was that they glued the fabric to the metal motorized shade. When it was apparent that there was no fix, and no comparable alternative, Daniel Gomez offered to refund me. But that never happened and its been crickets for two years. Money down the drain. Worst experience. With all the reputable window treatment companies out there, I would stay away from this one. read more

Since I purchased from this company, I've had nothing but issues--from the wrong size blinds to shutters that don't close properly. I regret choosing Future View Window Fashions for my shutters. I first contacted them back in February and agreed to move forward after receiving a quote. The shutters took a while to be made, which I expected, but once they arrived, the problems began. One shutter was the wrong size, and another had the wrong border. It's exhausting having to constantly text and call just to get basic information or an update on when things will be ready. I am tired of chasing them just to get any kind of response. I have tried to be nice and patient through all of this, but the lack of initiative and communication from their end has been unacceptable. By this point, I was completely worn out and honestly regretted choosing this company, especially since I had multiple quotes from other businesses and wish I had gone with one of them instead. Now, as of today (10/2025), the "new" replacement shutters still have the same issue of not closing. To make matters worse, one of my blinds broke down in September, and Colby said he would contact me once the replacement arrived--but he never did. Just like before, there's been no follow-up, no communication, and no accountability. The lack of professionalism and reliability throughout this entire process has been unacceptable. The fact that such an expensive purchase has required so many attempts to fix--and is still not right--is beyond frustrating. Unreliable and disappointing. Future View installed my shutters yesterday. I had seven windows done, including a big slider. I could not be happier. Colby was my first contact and he did the measuring and showed me all the different samples. He did not try to oversell me and I was pleasantly surprised at the fair prices. I felt very comfortable with him. He communicated multiple times with me about the delivery and installation. David installed them and was equally awesome. We recently had shutters installed by Future View. We had a pleasant experience working with Future View Window Fashions from first contact to day of installation. An initial apt was scheduled to discuss options, obtain measurements, etc. The estimate was subsequently emailed to us (within the same day). They were extremely professional & responsive to our follow up questions. Due to budget constraints we revised our initial estimate; options were discussed with them. An initial pmt (half of total cost) was requested to submit the work order and the final payment due the day of the installation. It took about 3 months from the time we made the initial payment to installation. Shutters look great! We would certainly use them again. read more

The design center is located off of Vernon St in Roseville. I recently purchased a home where I needed window coverings installed and we were referred to Future View from our Realtor. Danny, the owner, came out to our home to take measurements of each window. Their options are very affordable and they have a large variety of styles for each type of window. Our kitchen window is a little shallow and so he advised for us to go with an accordion-like window covering. I was very hesitant at first, but the final installation looks amazing! I absolutely love easily the window covering can be pushed up or pulled down pulled down in the kitchen. In the bedrooms, we can now press a button where you can press to open/close the blinds and no longer need to mess with with a string that eventually snaps or can even strangle a small child! Wow!
