One day I was going to visit some friends at work and I knew they like donuts and this location was on my way so I decided to buy them some donuts. The place was well designed and very nice. The person who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a dozen of donuts and left. My friends were very excited when they saw the donuts. They decided to cut them to 4 pieces so we can try multiple donuts. Long story short, we ate all donuts in about 20 minutes! I'm not a donut person but I love their donuts! Called the manager of this place, because my sister had an anaphylactic allergy reaction to a donut that did not have nuts listed on the donut's ingredients. To be frank, I DID NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING but some accountability. There was no apology made whatsoever over the phone call. TANNER THE OWNER/MANAGER did not take accountability. There was no empathy in his response as a business owner. He said they make their labels posted on the INSIDE of their boxes and they are 12 point sized; this is TINY. He made it clear the onus is on whoever buys their donuts that they should look out for those who have allergies. He compared his business to that of other donut places; Doughnut party, Hello Mochi, even Tim Hortons, where they "do not list" these things. And I can tell you for sure, THEY DO IF THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS OWNERS. It was hilarious comparing himself to Doughnut Party. "Everything is cross contaminated." -- This is the answer you will get when you ask about accommodating your allergies. Other low reviews of this place, he claims they're wrong, but it's amazing what kind of customer service he provides. At the end of the phone call, he told us to open up a donut place. Maybe go to Doughnut Party instead. Compared to this place, other bake shops are responsible. He also said it is NOT LEGAL to be responsible for food allergies. I told him, as a responsible business owner, you would have those signs and labels where they are CLEAR to your customers. He has a responsibility to all customers. Little hard to find without google maps. Parking is available right infront. Pre-ordering was easy and good but looks like you could easily just go in and pick 12. Got a dozen of the super fancy ones. Came with 1 free donut if you sign up for an account. Overall really happy with the filings, texture, freshness. They are refrigerated and need to warm at room temp before eating which the owner told me when I picked up. Not sure I found a favorite flavor so they were all equally good! read more

It's great to have a nice donut shop on the north side of the city. The lady working at the counter was knowledgeable about the ingredients when I inquired about a food allergy. Fuzion Donuts just had their west Edmonton grand opening this past weekend! The store has a few tables and chairs on both sides for you to sit and enjoy your donuts and drinks. The store ambiance setting itself is very fresh and bright with pictures of fresh ingredients and donuts. When you walk up to the front counter you will see two rows that showcase the donuts that they have for the day. You get to see up front in person what each donut looks like. They have 3 tiers of donuts: Deluxe which are cream filled, Classic and Basic. They come in many varieties and there are a lot to pick from. I went with their most popular, creme brûlée which was absolutely delicious! I normally do not enough cream inside my donuts but most of the ones I choose had cream and were all very tasty. I had a chance to speak to the owner as well who told me about how the donut shop started. He wanted to own a business and had a friend who was a baker and the two came together and started Fuzion Donuts. Overall my experience was great, the owner went though the donuts and guided me through to help me since there were so many flavours to pick from and the donuts were soft, fluffy and delicious. read more

Okay yes 3 stars but this place may prove me wrong in the future. And I'm not a super donut person typically. We got a box of their donuts for a party and got an array of flavors. Less than half the donuts I tried I enjoyed. Some were super incredible like the Crème Brûlée, The Lychee Raspberry, and the Strawberry cheesecake. So let me tell you about those: the crème brûlée had the perfect sugary hard topping, and the donut itself was very fluffy fresh, with a lovely smooth cream filling. The Lychee Raspberry was so unique and finding chunks of lychee in the filling really hit the top notes for me being a lychee lover. Paired with a raspberry topping that was sweet with a hint of the raspberry sour was lovely on the palate. And the Strawberry cheesecake was a very fresh fluffy donut again with really nice texture and taste. Out of a box of 12 donuts these are the ones I would have again, perhaps they were the most fluffy, and possibly the most unique, but for sure the freshest. The rest of the donuts were ... alright. Root beer float, London Fog, Apple fritter, cinnamon bun, Boston cream, cookie dough, salted caramel, coconut cream pie, butter tart. 3 stars because previously I had the worst, I mean terrible couple donuts from them at the farmers market . They were so stale and way too over sweet and very over priced for a couple donuts that did not satisfy. So I've been tainted from that one experience but I'm glad I tried them again more recently because maybe I just had a couple really old stale ones the first time round. read more

I have no idea why the rating on yelp is so low and the ratings on google are amazingly high. I never take into account ratings based on less than 10 people. Anyways, my recent adventure was this donuts place. After reading about it online I absolutely has to try it. This place is super unique in a few ways. 1. There's no window shopping, you either pick up or get it delivered 2. When you order, you order in batches of 12 with what they are offering and no substitutions 3. It's really expensive donuts So after all that I decided to try it because the offerings were just too amazing. I used the delivery because driving would have cost just as much but this is where they lost a star from me, the website asks you to give a minimum to incentivize the driver. One order with my first time discount can you about $43 for a dozen donuts. I ordered it and it arrived in about 40 minutes. The smell coming from the box was too amazing. I gathered the troops (myself and 3 kids) and we had a donut tasting party. Each donut was sliced into 1/8 and if we really wanted to we would eat 1/4 of it. This was accompanied by our own roasted rice tea (gen mai cha). We lasted until the 7th donut. It was a great time. You have to hand it to their craftsmanship and ingenuity. Of course we didn't like every donut but they were all interesting in their very own way. For about an hour of entertainment and discussion, that money was well spent. I tried to look at their menu to see what it's like but their ordering system has the worst usability I've ever seen for an online business. The say that you get free delivery within a radius but you are not even able to figure out how far you are from the place because they don't provide you with an address of where they are located on their website. They make you provide your address before you can even see their menu, prices and anything like that. No thank you! The doughnuts look marvellous but you really need to work on your ordering process because it is not good and prevented me from even considering placing an order. Sorry, you lost a customer. Improve it and I might come back and try it. But don't demand personal information before even deciding whether to order from you or not. That is just wrong. read more

Absolutely amazing donuts. Service was great, I walked in and the lady who assisted me was extremely helpful when answering my questions & they were able to immediately give me 2 boxes (24 donuts) without needing to preorder. Everything was fresh, and soft, and honestly, the quality was IMMENSELY better that Donut Party. Highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to grab some super tasty & unique donut flavours!
