As i walked into the store there were 4 gentleman standing at the cash register talking. One of the men COULD NOT speak a five word sentence without using the "F" word. By the time I reached the middle of the store he must of used the word 15-20 times. I stopped and looked at them, he just continued using the "F" word. One of the gentleman came back and asked if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for and he said that they didn't have what I wanted but that he could order it. I told him no thank you. Then I proceeded to tell him that I thought the person using the "F" word was totally out of line. He said that he wasn't an employee of the store he was the "Security Guard". He also said the manager lets him talk that way. I'm not a prude. I swear occasionally. This man must have used the "F" word 30 time's within 7-8 minutes. As I left the store I told him he was way out of line. The security firm that employs him need to get him in line. Also the store manager that lets him talk that way needs to be straightened out. Just imagine if young children were in there. Not that I matter, I won't be returning to the store and I will mention this incident to my friends.

She was polite and helpful. However, another associate, Eladia, immediately chimed in to say I "should have received an email," even after I explained I was having email issues. When I asked about the refund amount, Eladia responded with sarcasm and an unprofessional attitude. She made unnecessary comments about my order and even claimed I "used a bunch of coupons," which was completely untrue. Her tone throughout the interaction was dismissive, condescending, and entirely unwarranted. She never apologized, and her behavior overshadowed the positive interaction I had with the first associate. I later called the store asking for the manager, who was out until Monday, so I spoke with the acting manager, Eduardo. After explaining the situation, he seemed to side with Eladia, saying she was "only stating what was true," ignoring the issue of her tone and attitude. This only added to the frustration. Because of this experience, I won't be placing future orders at this location. I will be calling the store manager on Monday, as well as the regional manager, to address the situation.

I received an email notification that they were delivered to visalia, but the employee at the hanford location input the wrong address, and they weren't in store even though it said they were delivered. I was then instructed to check the nearest FedEx store (packwood creek), where the staff at that FedEx location checked the entire store, checked the stores personal mail section, and confirmed the package wasn't there. I returned to F.F. only to be told by the manager that "I" had to call customer service myself to resolve it. I corrected her that as a manager, that was her duty/obligation since it was their mistake. Already dismissive and unprofessional. I was then told a refund check would take 3-6 weeks to go to my residence. It's now been over 5 weeks with no check, and when I inquired about the status, they too said, "They have not received a check to be able to send to "reimburse me. " Now, I'm being told to wait a few more days, the 24th--which is now well over a month-and if it doesn't arrive, I'll have to wait another 6-8 weeks. This is completely unacceptable. The mistake was on their end, yet I've been left without the product and without a refund, and as a paying chstomer is being punished for their error essentially. If this is how they handle issues caused by their own staff, I wouldn't recommend trusting them with your money. Customer service was unable to expedite a check or cancel the check to do an inperson return with the original payment method. Instead, I was offered ...ready for this...store credit. The BEST they could do is store credit or make me wait.. Why on earth would I continue to give them my business? If I'm correct, doesn't this violate FTC law... 16CFR435.1(b)(1) & (d)(1) - "Prompt Refund" Definition If they cancel or cannot ship, they must issue a "prompt refund"--defined as a refund by check, cash, or equivalent within 7 business days . My refund has been delayed over 5 weeks, with a possible additional, ambiguous, 6-8 weeks if there's no correspondence by the 24th?? I received no product or a prompt refund. Thus making it a federal violation of consumer protection law. They did not deliver the item nor offer a prompt refund. I had graduation the next day and was left without funds... Without the product I needed and wanted and left with a lasting impression, they could care less. No in store discount for inconvenience. Just dismissiveness, delays, and excuses. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT F.F.

They have quality items, some European, and when I was evacuated my mom told me to go get myself and my husband some shoes with the explicit requirement I go to Brown's because they have a variety of quality footwear. So sweet! I bought two pairs of leather shoes. All leather brown clogs, camel colored with visible silver rivets (? Maybe nails). And a gorgeous pair of black Italian leather heels that are low height and perfect for work. My husband got a pair of Hoka sneaks that he's been wearing non stop since purchasing and a great looking pair of dress shoes with rubber soles; he's often complained his Italian soled shoes are too stiff so we're psyched for these! They actually had a big selection of men's dressy sneakers. I think this is a trend that is here to stay. Admittedly Brown's shoe selection can appear dowdy upon first glance because many of the shoes are for comfort but you've got to give them a try and browse because they have an excellent selection of quality shoes and amidst the practical footwear are special items with style. Also, of the brands featured have been around since the 1800's. Love the legacy and heritage as it shows in the quality. I've never had poor service here. Not once. They always accommodate my request to try a number of shoes and/or sizes. I feel attended to here. Don't pass them by and shop local at Brown's!

I left my name & number so the manager (Craig) could give us a call if he found it. About 15 minutes later, Craig called us that he found the missing pair.
