The store wasn't very busy at that time, but it was late at night so that might of been why. I was impressed by their wide selection of items and products. A lot more than other Walmart's. My boyfriend spent a long time in the tool section and was impressed by their selection. Also, the store was very clean for a Walmart. I will definitely drive the extra few miles the next time I am in the area and need to go to Walmart.

Whether the manager just ignores sales and orders the regular amount so they run out before the end of the week end or is intentional in buying sales items from the vendor and not stocking them until the sales are over to increase profits it is poor performance. There is land on both sides of the store that could easily be used to expand this store, or for that matter, tear it down and replace it. I mean come on, it's an old A&P supermarket building still in use. Asides from the small size of the store, the selection needs to be expanded. I went in to look for a can of chopped chiles and could not find them at all. I suppose though, if they were to expand their selection, they would need to expand the space, so back to my first point before. Staff could be a bit friendlier, the cashiers look SO happy to be there. Did not see a single stock person on the floor to even ask if they carried the product I needed. This is the Giant Eagle I grew up with, and sad to say, probably won't visit as often or at all.

Firstly, the woman I spoke to on the phone when placing the order was incredibly friendly! I wanted five steaks but she let me know that if I got a sixth one, there would be a discount of $ off per pound so I opted to do that. We picked up the order and the steaks look phenomenal, I'm really excited to cook them. I'm even more excited about the price - 6 strip steaks for $31?!?!?! How is it possible?! Amazing. Definitely would recommend this spot!

They have plenty of fresh produce, meats and everything else you may need! I couldn't believe how huge the chicken breasts that I bought. 2 pounds for about $8.50, and they were quite tasty! All of the staff were very friendly, and they have a ton of their own spice blends to buy as well over by the meat counter. Very cool store, and I'm glad that I found it during my stay in the Laurel Highlands.

But, they later go on to contradict themselves. We came here to finish up grabbing those items that we needed for the weekend. We had made multiple stops elsewhere and figured since we weren't able to snag them there, we'd have better luck getting them from here. Of course, that was true. Everything left on our list to get, was in house here. I also went off and did some browsing of my own. I like to hit the clearance section to see if there might be a steal. Most Walmarts have a centralized clearance section, but others have where a department might have an end cap that has their clearance. This store had a combination of the both. You just had to keep your eyes open and pay attention. Back to how my Dad and brother contradicted themselves. They had said that this store, even though smaller, carried everything they needed. While walking around grabbing the items we needed on the grocery side, my brother said something along the lines that he liked an item, but they didn't carry the brand they used to. Funny thing was, the item and brand of that item was literally right in front of us. Maybe they were out of it on their last visit, but I have no way of confirming that. At the end of grabbing everything, I opted for the self checkouts. I'd rather do that than having to wait and interact with anyone else.

Being able to pick up my (large) bakery order and not leaving someone disappointed at home makes me happy. Had my list of must haves. I meandered through all the departments. Wasn't on a time schedule. I spent 2 hours in the store. Found beautiful baby lamb chops. Filets were $6/lb cheaper than my grocery store. Bought beautiful endive. Had to bring home the red wine peppered salami. Coming home, opening the cooler, and handing out foodie presents is like Christmas morning. The oohs and aahs were heard at multiple houses. The staff were very helpful finding my treasures. Wegmans trips make traveling for business worth it.

I found it to be quite a good store, with everything you could want: my weird health-food desires like coconut flour and buckwheat groats (that I usually have to visit specialty stores for); pharmacy supplies; lots of pre-made food; diverse international offerings; plenty of organic and pre-cut produce; flowers, etc. Despite it being my first time, I was able to navigate it without too much difficulty. When they were out of green onions, a friendly worker was able to refill the bin quickly for me (and direct me to the spacious, clean bathrooms). They have tons of checkout lines, only a couple were open with humans; and they have lots of self-checkout too. I mean, it's just a grocery store, but it's a pretty good one!
